I purchased tattoo numbing cream from a seller claiming it had 10% lidocane. This did not numb at all but created a burning sensation on my skin. I also tested on my husband. When I let postmark know they said I had no proof. No refund.
Ordered a dress, it came way to small and now im out my money and they wont return or exchange horibile
Customer service
I had never been to their site and one morning I was looking for a particular item I could not find on ebay so I typed in Poshmarks site where it said I had to "create an account and login." I've tried doing this as well as notifying them about the problem -TO NO AVAIL and it has been 3 months daily. I had to put in my e-address which they said they would use, I signed in thru facebook and it shows MY PICTURE dancing with my son at his wedding. It has repeatedly said that we cannot let you visit our site as someone else already has this e-adress when indeed that someone IS ME along with my picture. After all this crap and the complaints I have seen I was horrified yet glad I was unable to shop there! SHAME ON POSHMARK for stealing and lying to customers. And no way to contact you is right up there amonst your huge scams!
I recently purchased a pair of shoes on Poshmark listed as "never worn'. They arrived with intact soles, but the top of the shoes were cracked, discolored, encrusted in dust the seller tried to remove with an abrasive substance removing the color the shoes were supposed to be.
Contacted Poshmark immediately. No response
Contacted them the following day. No response.
Day 3 they charged my account the full price of these garbage shoes, never acknowledging my complaint.
I have been a customer for years and have never returned anything... until now.
They refuse to close my account. They are requiring an ID for me to close my own account and I feel that this is a phishing scam.
UPDATE: order was canceled automatically due to non shipment. First and last time I ever use posh mark.
Been waiting a week to receive a rhinestone clutch *******@montanamackenzi on poshmark. It hasnt even shipped out yet. I'm not the only one who has issues with her. Posh mark won't offer any help. It's September 3rd and I ordered August 24th
I did buy a jacket from one of seller on Poshmark website, The seller sending not correct size, I contact the seller and they're said they're will accept the return item. I email the website support they're doesn't help me and told me repost the item sell it
I really unlike this website service and never shopping in this website again
I am a 5 star seller who strives to sell items accurately and ship quickly. At least 8 times, I've received an order not the color as pictured (poor photography), or orders haven't been fulfilled, or flaws haven't been disclosed. I have gotten some very nice items, but one has to be very cautious of who they're dealing with (you have NO idea). Check "about" to see when they were last on--but even that's not failsafe. I will probably "close my closet" at the end of 2021, due to the hassle. Also, PM takes 20% of earnings. Yeah, it's nice that shipping is predetermined, but I feel other apps like Mercari are better as far as customer support.
I was not 100% satisfied with a purchase and Poshmark refused to refund-I created a case thru Paypal and now I'm blocked frm buying.
Worst business model! Waste of time when you get something that is misrepresented in pics! No response from customer service other than an automated message! Such a disappointment!
I have never ever been able to sell anything on the site at all. When I try to buy something if it says make an offer if I even offer a 1.00 less than the asking price I don't hear from the seller. I don't think this is a real site.
I sent in a large bag of casual name brand clothes, after 3 months I spent 4 hours getting a hold of someone there to find out where my clothes were. I was told my bag got lost and there was no compensation for them losing my clothes. Within the 3 months, I sent in another large bag of clothes, very different than the first bag, this bag had shoes, belts, purses, and business dress clothes, all name brands.
I received an email stating one of my blouses sold. This blouse was from the first bag of clothes I mailed in which supposedly was lost in their sorting facility. I called again and was told that the entire bag of clothes I had sent in was sold and that the entire amount for all my sold clothes went to shipping and processing costs with the exception of one blouse. I paid $49.00 for my designer blouse and Poshmark gave me $1.98 for it! I wore the blouse once for 3 hours. Otherwise, It was brand new!
I was told due to shipping and Poshmark taking their cut from my clothes $1.98 was all I was going to receive from my large bag of designer clothes, which I paid well over $1,000.00 dollars for. I asked them why they told me they lost my bag of clothes and I was lied to and told that NO ONE ever told me it was lost. I had an email from customer service stating it was lost, which Poshmark denied. I HAVE PROOF!.
Then the second large bag with my designer handbags, shoes, belts, and high-end business attire also went missing. I never did receive even a penny for that bag. I spent over $1399, retail on that bag and was told it got lost in their sorting facility. Poshmark is a RIP-OFF. They steal the designer high-brand clothing, accessories, shoes, purses, Etc from people selling their high-end products claiming it was lost in their sorting facility.\
I was lied to and CRAPPED on. So I ordered a small bag from Poshmark, cleaned up my back yard, I have 3 large dogs, and sent them my dog's doo. I figured if they are going to steal from their clients and treat them like crap the least I can do is return the favor.
Poshmark, I hope you enjoyed a bag filled with my dog's doo. That is the type of treatment you provide your customers.
Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
KARMA with get you for all of your lying and stealing! I would NOT want to be you.
It is a rip-off site. They charge a lot for postage and lousy job when you file a claim for a purchased product that is not described properly, Stay away.
Never purchase from this site. I recently made my first ever purchase *******@vivalucky on this site. The shoes I purchased broke apart within 2 weeks NEVER WORN. This person refuse to be accountable for selling damaged merchandise.
Bought sandals that looked Navy blue in the pic. Description said black. Received black. Never worn and not wanted. Cannot return because the description did say black. Never had any problems returning something not wanted to Kohls, Amazon, ebay, etsy, Macys, etc.
Be careful if you do buy. This place is not worth my time anymore.
Expect the worst if there's an issue with your sales. I sold an item that was double checked to be spotless and have pictures of the item to show Poshmark( pictures shown in the red background). Also double check with my original seller, that I brought the item from, to confirm that the item was spotless. The buyer posts picture of the item with stains and the company concludes the stains to come from the seller because they said;
Although we do take all information submitted by the seller into consideration when deciding a case we must give weight to the most recently taken photos of the item( Poshmark customer service). Now I am forced to take the item with new stains. THANKS POSHMARK FOR THE ACCUSATION! Poshmark truly didn't handle this case fairly because Poshmark did not consider both photos of the item (from before and after it was sent) to have equal values.
After hundreds of reports to Poshmark, I have given up. They are allowing fake sellers with fake accounts from China to sell replica bags which is illegal. I have now reported the company to the BBB. They are defrauding consumers in advertising fake products and allowing them to do it. Here is what is happening on that site. They are allowing fake bags from China to be sold which is illegal. They are allowing people to create fake accounts under fake names to sell those items. The sellers are from another country and ripping off consumers. I have flagged over 500 accounts to date of fake sales, sellers who are committing a crime by selling replica bags in the US - as it is a US-based company. I have reported the sellers multiple times and never have they taken down the accounts as I have made notes along the way of whom Ive reported. I have filed a claim with the BBB for an investigation into the deceptive practices of this company. I am a web developer, I offered them a simple solution that would end this issue but they would not even hear it. Its simple to auto-flag accounts with multiple sellers with multiple fake accounts. It's simple to flag fake bags by putting filters within their system that flags anything brand new advertised as Chanel, LV, Gucci selling under 300. That would end a majority of fraud, but they refuse to do this. They could ask for proper IDs for any seller and make them set up a PayPal account directly with their company that flows through their company as ebay does to verify sellers. It needs to be revamped or they need to be sued and that is the only way they will listen. Its up to the public to make enough complaints to the governmental authorities for them to listen.
I ordered a size XL women's jacket. The jacket that came was clearly an XL youth. I send pictures of the sizing chart for the brand as well as pictures comparing the jacket to other XL items in my wardrobe. I even sent one of myself with it "on" (it didn't really go on). They denied the return. There is no way they could have even looked at my information.
I realized an error in my order and tried to cancel it within 2 hours of placing the order. They have no lee way in their return policy. Basically, you're screwed.
No response to my product question or sale from seller in 7 days. Seller provided traveling excuse for not replying. When the sandals arrived, was disappointed by their dirty appearance because the photos did not show this. In addition the packaging was lacking - there was no paper stuffing to preserve each sandals form and nothing to protect the sandals in the event the box was damaged during shipment. Included in the box was one, torn, dirty, crumpled, previously used multiple times, dark blue tissue that was laying independently in the package. Can't imagine why anyone would think it would enhance the presentation of a product and my guess is that it being in the box was a mistake. Seller was neither apologetic or remorseful for mailing something that was in substandard condition.
While the seller of these $60 AG NWOT jeans may not have intended to sell a mismarked product, they did (I own 3 authentic pairs which fit great; this is huge) and I found I have zero recourse with Poshmark. As long as the tag on item matches description, no matter how erroneous, you will waste your time requesting a return. Three rounds of communication, 2 rounds of taking/posting photos to recieve a foregone conclusion of "no return." My wife was right when she said she had heard Poshmark sides with seller every time. I can imagine how many fraudulent sellers could be on the site. No more!
Sorry for the hideous photo. Jeans could fit another 1/2 of me in there.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
