On 9/15/2021, I contacted poshmark seller Shop_With_Farah to offer money to purchase size 40 Saint Laurent Gold Opyum Heels. Seller accepted my offer. My credit card declined for fraud prevention. Seller contacted me for non-processed payment, as she was initially very responsive. I immediately approved purchase, which seller had to rerun minutes later. When seller reran credit card she put it under size 38.5 Saint Laurent Gold Opyum Heels. I was not aware of this mishap. On 9/17/2021 I noticed the mistake the seller made. I reached out to Seller, 9/17/21, to point out the problem with her mixup on shoe size, no response through 9/27/2021. I contested through poshmark asking to not ship the shoe. On 9/27/21 I received an email from poshmark denying me to return the shoe. I merely want to exchange the size 38.5 shoe the seller picked to send me, for the originally purchased correct size 40 shoes I ordered, not the return. $594.01 shoe is just sitting in its shipper box, I can't fit.
First purchase was my last. Seller gladly took my money but refused to ship my order. Waiting for refund. I highly recommend never doing business with them and encourage friends, family and followers to blacklist Poshmark.
I would do give zero stars if I could. I purchased a top online because it looked beautiful. When it came it didn't have the ruffles shown in the pic. The seller had made the top appear to have ruffles the way she styled it on the mannequin. When the top arrived I contacted customer service and showed them a pic vs what was advertised and because the seller had been selling on the site (that's what I'm assuming I mean what else could it be) I was denied my refund and I have not and will not do business there ever again. Shame on the seller and customer service when they knew I didn't get what I was shown.
Ordered a pair of pants listed as "Boutique"/NWT and they arrived reeking of urine. When I opened a case w/Posh via email (they have no cust serv # or chat) they responded that they wouldn't refund my $ because "item not misrepresented." So be aware: Poshmark defines "Boutique" as "stinks like a littler box."
My first (and last) encounter on Poshmark involved buying what was listed as a beautiful blue coat in excellent condition. What I received was a gray coat that smelled heavily of smoke. Upon my complaint, the seller stated that her items don't smell of smoke, because she "keeps them in a room with the door closed" to avoid the items smelling like smoke. She also said the item will look blue in certain lights, but I've not found any light that can reproduce the color in the photos for the item. The item's color had to be the result of photo editing. Seller's claim that she "closes the door" to try to stop smoke from getting into a room clearly doesn't understand that smoke doesn't observed closed doors and filters in anyway. The first photo is the seller's listing for the coat. The second photo is what I received, but, of course, without the smell.
Only positive experience except shipping is too expensive unless you bundle and the 20 percent they take for commission is too much as well. I'm a single parent trying to sell my things on hand as a desperate measure to survive and the 20 percent they are taking is too much for me to give at this time. Mercarí takes 10 percent which is much more reasonable.
Customer Services are limited, if any, at all.
Email Contacts are for the below (kind of daunting in nature):
1] Copyright Infringement
2] Law Enforcement
In general, a consumer visiting the site is made unwelcome due to lack of a direct support email especially when desiring to make a purchase.
Janethegypsy (POSHMARK seller) sold me earrings that were assembled incorrectly and looked awful when hanging on my ears.
I stated my case, being questioned numerous times, and ultimately was called a LIAR *******@janeandthegypsy, seller. Through many insults (I have never encountered anything like that in my life), I was denied a return and refund. CAVEAT EMPTOR!
I've bought a couple things now from Poshmark and I won't shop on the site again. You simply cannot get a resolution when you purchase something, and it goes wrong. I purchased a candle, and it came with broken glass everywhere. I purchased a necklace, was charged 2 times for it, can't get ahold of the seller and still fighting for a refund on one charge. It's over the top horrible.
Why do we consumers not che k reviews before being screwed over by another one of these sites that take our money and time? I seem to have done this on several occasions especially since the pandemic I ordered something, it was false advertising, I tried to get my money back to no avail then I go to look at reviews and bam! Everyone already tried to warn us. I won't bore you with my shirt was advertised as blah blah and they sent me a cheap knock off blah blah blah. That has happened to all of us on here and these overseas conglomerate companies could not give one. We are all suckers and it's unfortunate. I deleted them today that's the only power we have. Sorry for our loses.
I ordered a white top from Poshmark. First time doing business with them. I received a dingy, faded off-yellow cheap looking top. The material felt
Similar to a plastic shower curtain. Yet on the site it looked to be a well-made bright White and crisp cotton! It even described the top as White. I emailed and got a response that yes I can return it and to just flow these 7 I voiced steps which they used to do.kn their website. Well it did not work. I tried 5 times snd even had a tech person try. Bottom line, they didn't REALLY want to allow a return. Even though I had it in writing they said "YES". I ended up having to take other recourse since they did not respond on return. I can not recommend using Poshmark. I don't do business with with a company who is unprofessional, not trustworthy and don't have a working contact number.
This site is a scam. I purchased a pair of Superga sneakers for $76.00 that were HUUUUGE and obviously mislabeled. I requested a return, and was told by customer service that my request did not qualify for a return. Customer service offered me $5, and told me that I could keep the sneakers, and presented that as though it would be sufficient! I can't use the sneakers, and would never purchase anything on that site again, so I am disputing the credit card charge. Watch out for these scammers.
When you need help, their customer service is by messaging only and its all automated responses. It seems as if no one actually works there. Sell somewhere else.
Peggy Spicer Duncan bullies people on social media regarding COVID19. She's shaming strangers on social media for not getting vaccinated.
People on this site must forget they are selling items. Hugely disappointing to want to purchase items and the seller is no where to be found, via messaging or such. Really gets your hopes up.
As a new customer, I ordered a pair of shoes on this site. No word from Seller, Zakmart, and no item received in 10 days. Now they want to cancel. What kind of a company is this? Not a happy camper. Displeased.
Unfortunately it isn't possible to give zero stars. I tried to register as a seller. Was never able to post. Contacted customer service 7 times. Finally replied that my email was attached to a suspended account. Would not be transparent and provide information to resolve. I've ever had an account with Poshmark before so I'm not who they suspended. Very poor almost jeering response to attempts to resolve.
Poshmark customer service seems more like an automated response to me. I purchased an item from what I believe was a scammer and they did not help me resolve the issue. The item was not cheap and they proceeded to make me wait the normal protocol amount of days before a refund could be issued. I have still not received a refund. I would not recommend selling or buying on poshmark.
If I had known they don't hold their seller's accountable for misrepresenting their merchandise I would have never bought from them. They really need to have more stringent repercussions for sellers that describe their merchandise misleadingly. I bought a pair of pajamas advertised as silk. Not silk but polyester. And I bought a pair of flannel pajamas that were advertising mediums but had been washed and shrunk so they were smalls Poshmark refused to make good on those. Will not be buying from them again
Ok so I was looking for a used watch and I found three listed on Poshmark at quite high prices, however I thought I'd give them a try and placed a bid. My bid was accepted the next day and the entire price charged to my credit card, which is odd because online seller do NOT normally charge your card until the items have been shipped.
Anyway 10 days later my item was still not shipped by the seller, so I cancelled my order.
Now I have to wait up to 30 days to get my money refunded back to my card.
This site is in my view still work in progress and has a long way to go yet.
Meanwhile I don't recommend risking your money with Poshmark.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
