I used my bank debit card to purchase an item for $200. It was my first and only purchase at this marketplace website. Two days after the transaction was finalized and money had changed hands, I received an email from Poshmark stating that the sale had been "canceled" because the seller "changed mind." No other reason was given. In some states, that would be considered cause for a a breach of contract action in cuvil court. The same email also stated that my money had already been "immediately refunded." My bank takes one business day to post a refund once it has been received. It is now seven days since I received the email from Poshmark. According to an Operations Officer at my bank, the refund has still not been credited back to my account by Poshmark. Buyer beware!

Placed one order on Nov 27... Dec 7 still not shipped and seller will not respond. Requesting refund. Nov 29 placed another order. The very next day Poshmark cancelled. Placed a 3rd on Nov 30. Still waiting on that is one. You can only place a post to the seller which my experience was ignored. I looked all over for a phone number to actually talk to someone. But only get links to email... I will never use again

Was offered a $5 off coupon from Paypal on a purchase of $75 or more on Poshmark. My query of minerals found obvious fakes being offered for sale at over $100 that are practically worthless. For example, I saw here: https://poshmark.com/search?query=wardite&type=listings&src=dir what appears to be a large rock of chert being offered for sale as the rare mineral wardite. I purchase 100s of rare minerals online per year from sellers on sites like Etsy and Ebay and can say with 100% certainty, this is not wardite. Based upon this, I'll never be purchasing anything from Poshmark. It's obvious anyone can claim to be selling anything, including fakes at any price and no one at Poshmark makes even the most cursory review of authenticity.

Poshmark wouldn't care if you're broke as hell. I made an offer to this seller and accepted it. Before it shipped I noticed that the color was too light on my skin and there was a lip gloss residue on the side of the cap/cover. I sent them a cancel request regarding this order. I got a response from one of their staff saying that I need to do this do that. Then I sent them a message and picture on the problem with the order etc but after that I didn't get a message/reply from them. Never contacted me again! Poshmark is after your money only. I don't have any issues with my other selling app like Mercari. They do have a cancel order option after 2-3 days of purchase as long as the seller has not shipped yet, so easy!

I have painful, disfigured feet and have a problem finding shoes, and my doctor recommended HOKA professional running shoes. They run $150-200 new, so I figured I would look on PM. The first pair I bought were perfect. Fit great, felt great. A few months later I ordered a back-up pair. Same size, same color, same model, different seller, and they did not fit properly. They were much too tight, and even felt about 1/2 size too small.

I contacted the seller, and he said he was not the original owner. So I brought them to a shoe repair shop and had them stretched out a few days. No difference. The shoe repair shop said it looked like the sneakers had been washed and dried, and that particular material shrinks in the dryer. I research the HOKA care instructions, and sure as $#*! they tell you not to put in dryer, and to wash on delicate in cold water and air dry, or wipe down with a cloth.

So I email Poshmark and tell them the story, and they refuse to allow me to return the item. They said the fault lies with the original owner for not following the care instructions, and not with Poshmark or the seller.

So now I am out all of this money, and refuse to sell these sneakers to an unsuspecting individual. I am not happy, and will never use this site again.

I bought a pair a CL booties on Thanksgiving day. The seller has yet to ship them and is completely unresponsive to messages. I hate that there is no way to contact the seller other than leaving public comments on the listing. It's ridiculous. I have asked about a shipping eta twice with no response. When I checked out the seller, it says they haven't been on the site since September. What the hell? I don't understand why sellers post items and then never check on the listings. This has been a very frustrating experience so far. I will never use Poshmark again. Another commenter here mentioned Mercari being much better so I checked it out. I definitely recommend Mercari over Poshmark.

Their return policy isn't really a return policy and favors the seller. I will look for items on ebay and TheRealReal before I search on Poshmark. There is no such thing as customer service. If you order something and it doesn't fit, you are stuck with it.

I have sold for years on poshmark but in the last year my satisfaction has wained significantly. Buyers low ball regularly, packages with brand new items disappear mysteriously, buyers purposely damage items to get a refund, postmark supports the buyer not the seller, fees for selling are high. I will never use this app again!

Needlessly cumbersome app. Nonsensical process to ask seller a question/inquire WHERE TF my order is - only to realize YOU CAN'T! You can't communicate w seller after a purchase! My first question, "Hey, when might I see my stuff I bought and paid for 3 weeks ago.?" Answer ammounted to "We're not sure... we'll let you know when it has shipped" A week later, "hey, what's up w my order?"... (nothing...)
Okay, I'm done. I just want my money back.
3 attempts at a 'resolution' have gone unanswered.
Just filed a dispute of charge w paypal.

I suppose if the seller has integrity and everything goes right, you'll be okay. But w no real way to communicate, get answers and a resolution, it's a crapshoot at best, a waste of time, $$$ and TONS of frustration otherwise.

Oh yeah! And you CAN'T LEAVE REVIEWS! Only 'love notes'! What does THAT tell ya?

I bought a pair of shoes off of here Jordans 4 it showed I purchase them and then an hour later I got nothing I go back in there to purchase order disappeared to seller disappeared it's been 4 days customer service is not responding they stole $263 from me this website is shaving do not use it do not use it I'm telling you they stole my money now they won't give it back

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this site, *******@jf624. Terribly unprofessional, ignorant and rude. They protect the seller and care nothing about the buyer. Paid $200.00 for Levi Vintage Clothing jeans. Size marked wrong, sent pictures with tapemeasure showing incorrectly listed. Their reply was you should ask more questions and try to relist them on Poshmark, yeah right. These people are no better than thieves. I provided a picture to show them their error.

I had problems with Poshmark. I bought two cardigans, and both was too small. Both cardigans looked different from what the sellers showed on pictures. One was deformed from washing, another is badly worn.The Poshmark administration refused to give mea refund. They don't have any buyer protection. If you bay a bad thing or small for you, Poshmark will not return your money. I will never buy anything from Poshmark again. Why should I pay for something that did not fit me and even an old worn one?!

I bought 4 teacups and saucers.
The picture posted shows all matching cups and saucers. When they arrived 1 of the teacups was different from the other 3. I have no issues with the seller because they wanted to reimburse me back $20.00. The total cost before reimbursement was $55.00. Seller was extremely fair, you would think that was the end and both parties would be happy. Nope. Poshmark would not allow seller to reimburse me. Poshmark did offer me a $10.00 credit on my next purchase, or I could return the items, which makes no sense. I'm not returning the item on principle, seller was being more than fair its not their fault poshmark is worthless. They can keep their $10.00 credit.

I ordered product from Poshmark, and it was never delivered. I emailed Poshmark customer support many times, and no one ever responded. They do not have a customer service phone number so that you can talk with an actual person to get resolution. They have charged my credit card, and I'm still having trouble getting refunded, because Poshmark customer service never responds to any of my emails. I strongly advise against using Poshmark!

As a seller, this has been nothing but a humongous time suck. Lots of work for nothing. If you're bored and have fun scrolling or get excited about having likes and followers, this is for you, but if you actually want to sell things from your closet, it's nothing but a waste of time. Reasonably priced new and like new current brand names just sit. People share them to their followers, like them, follow you, but this site has become so saturated that it's just about impossible to sell anything. It seems that crap like Batman T-shirts sell, and so do supposedly authentic Louis, but other than that, not worth the time IMO.
