I have ordered multiple times on Poshmark but boy have they made sure to f… up every single time! Incredibly unsatisfactory! Should be suspended as an app altogether! Always delays, terrible customer service…!
The return and refund policies of this store do not respond to customers when their products do not serve those who buy them. In other words, they force customers to stick with products that don't work.
A seller was rude, unkind, blocked me for asking to cancel a purchase 1 minute after I mistakenly countered an offer and the seller accepted immediately. This seller is a Posh ambassador, but was very rude to me and told me I should cancel the purchase myself and that she wouldn't respond a minute after she accepted because she doesn't live on Posh. She kept ignoring my requests for a while. The system wouldn't let me cancel within 3 hours as it should have since it was based on an offer and she was ignoring my explanations until the 3 hours had lapsed. I went to Posh support and they told me to contact the seller. Waste of time and energy on all ends. Infuriating experience. None of them were listening. Not the seller and not support. The seller was so obnoxious that she insulted me by sending me a nasty message and then blocked me so I couldn't respond. Poshmark will do anything to hang in to your money as long as possible. They drag their feet on refunding as long as they can. Disgusted with their support. The seller's Posh name is mymoderncloset5 and the support rep's name is Sokthy
Horrible customer service. Do not use them. Sold a Louis Vuitton, shipped it ot PoshMark they receioved it on January5,2021 and 189 days later still in review. Their website says 7 business days due to the holiday season. The holidays are over. They take you money and items and then hold on to them. Great way for them to pad their bank account.
Please don't bother to sell anything on Poshmark. I posted a Lululemon Scuba Oversize 1/2 zip on 1/16/2022 at 2 am PST and at 3 pm they sent me an email stating that my listing was removed due to a Counterfeit item. Poshmark doesn't have any support to their statement or question me first before they made the statement. I do have a receipt from the official website of this item. However, items without receipt don't mean they are counterfeit, right? I understood Poshmark is trying to protect their buyer which I totally agree with, but they shouldn't judge or make any statement of the item is counterfeit or not.
Do not do business with these people! They are crooks and liars! I placed many weeks ago and never received my order. Tried to request a refund with no success. Could not complete the registration1 Poshmark is garbage!
Very poor customer service and quality of items sold on their site. I Purchased a pair of jeans that were defective in the tailoring. It couldn't be seen in the pictures posted on the post Poshmark website but once I received the jeans and tried them on the inseam was drastically off putting the inseam towards the front of my thigh vs. down the inner thigh inseam. Poshmark denied my claim and would not allow me to return the jeans for a refund and I ended up eating the price I paid for the jeans. The quality was very poor. I will be throwing these jeans in the trash as they are not suitable to be worn. Very poor customer service and seller integrity. I'm guessing the seller had a much bigger account than me which swayed Poshmark to make their decision which benefited the seller not the buyer in this case. I will never purchase another item on Poshmark again…buyer please beware.
Iv'e been doing business in Poshmark for over 3 years already and last Dec 2021, I sold my Louis Vuitton Bumbag which is close to Brandnew. Poshmark received the item on Dec 30,2021 and today is Jan 15 and it still pending review. This in facts violates the 10 business days that they promised the customers.
I sent emails to their support and i have been just receiving auto generated emails.
The issue is not resolved and right now I don't even know if I am gonna get my money or my item
BUYER BEWARE! If I could select 0 stars I would. I spent so much money on Poshmark (at least 70-100 purchases) and got ripped off a few times but I didn't make a big deal about it, kept the items and gave the seller 5 stars. A few weeks ago I reluctantly paid $90 for a sweater that looked tiny in the photos from itslove_xo but it was smartwool so I know how that brand fits and I didn't think it would be a problem. 2 weeks later I received an extremely small shrunk (wool) sweater in the mail that I couldn't even get my arms in because it was shrunk. I reached out to Poshmark immediately, sent photos and explained my case. They requested more photos which I gave them right away as they requested with the specific measurements. I added them in the case and via email. 3 days later they send me an email saying I didn't provide photos in time so they are closing my case. I sent several emails asking how they did not receive my photos in the case or via email and the reply was they didn't receive them. Unbelievable! I will never buy another item from them again. They definately do not care about the customer. All I wanted to do was return the sweater to itslove_xo and now they lost a very unhappy customer. I will be contacting California's Attorney General Rob Banta. Poshmark is located in Redwood City, CA and the Attorney General's office handles consumer complaints against business's. Normally I would not have escalated this since it's only $90 but this kind of service/support from Poshmark is unacceptable. Not to mention the fact that there are people out there that will totally rip you off and not think twice about it. Horrible
I have been waiting on a coat I bought 14 days already. It's in review for authenticity. What a joke. They have no phone number and don't answer emails. This place is a joke and a scam
Ordered a shirt that I needed in 7 days for a special occasion. Website said it would arrive in plenty of time. After 7 days it has not even shipped. Now I'm screwed.
Bought an expensive "new" stated Burberry bag. Bag came with a 1/2" tear on the side. I showed them the picture. The seller stated it wasn't "a big tear just a scratch". Doesn't matter, seller stated bag was "new" when someone asked about it.
Of course I wanted to send it back for credit. Postmarks response? "Keep it and we will give you a $60 credit". POOR customer sevice. They obviously didn't check the sellers description. Never again!
I purchased a sweater for $40 on Poshmark. It was listed as a size L cashmere sweater from Macy's Charter Club. The reason for the purchase of the pink sweater was because I already own the same style/size in maroon that I love. The seater I received was pilled and shrunken, totally out of shape. I sent these picture to Poshmark and after a day, they said I should have asked for exact measurements before I bought it and that 'size' issues were not their problem. They told me to keep the sweater and that I would be issued a $10 credit for my inconvenience. They also said I should list the sweater on Poshmark and sell it to someone else. The definition of shady- pass the problem on to someone else. I will donate the sweater to my favorite charity- perhaps there is a 12 year old girl who likes the color pink. I will never do business with them again.
I started selling on Poshmark about 7 years ago. I sold handbags, shoes and clothing. I made a little over $1000 in the first year. After a while as more and more people signed on I found that every time someone made an offer on one of my items, it was significantly lower than what I listed it for. Each time that happened I looked at the buyer's profile and they had no listings at all; they were only in it to buy, and cheaply. It was a much better experience when the members both bought and sold items and understood what a reasonable offer was. It was no longer profitable to sell and I finally deleted my account.
Once Poshmark has entered the "REPOSH" option, you will never receive a refund for the damaged / wrong item that you bought there. The seller can send you an elephant instead of earrings and Poshmark will say: "That's right!" They always stay behind the seller now, because it is profitable for them that you get the wrong purchase, after all, you will have to resell it on Poshmark and they will get their benefits. I bought a bag from a seller_casey_monta_ who described a purse as White / Brown. Here's what I got. I wrote to Poshmark a hundred messages with a hundred photos, and they said, "The item fits the description!" Seriously? Do you agree, guys? So no expensive purchases on Poshmark are possible anymore, only cheap trinkets, otherwise you are at great risk.
If you buy from Poshmark, know that you have no consumer protection for poor quality products. I ordered some shoes, same brand/style of some I already have. The product I received was substandard: poor fit, poor materials, very dissimilar in quality to this brand's products; in addition, product was lacking the brand "copyright" stamp that typically appears on strap. I submitted with a photo and with comparison photos from other Poshmark listings and requested return authorization - but Poshmark does't do returns unless you can somehow provide "proof" that item is fake or defective with multiple photos (IN ADDITION to what I already submitted). Proof? An impossible & time-consuming bar for consumer, one meant to ensure that neither vendor nor Poshmark assume responsibility for poor products. I don't have any more time to deal with this and will take it as $60 personal loss and NEVER ever buy Poshmark again.
Seller's sell misrepresent damaged items & Poshmark stands behind the sellers & tell you just repose it. Sure now you sell the damaged item. They totally suck. Purchased Kendra Scott earrings & the both stones were cracked & fogged at bottom. Not describe or pictured this way at all. I sent them 4 pictures & they still refused to return. Buyer beware. Go anywhere else. Closed my account.
I bought a crispy white shirt and I got an almost yellow shirt.
I tried to return it but they protect each others.
Even when I sent pictures of the offered article and the received article they didn't care.
We have to be careful with what we buy from this kind of people.( no scrupulous)
They do this with a $14 sales?
What will they do whatever $500 sale?
You guys can see what I am talking about.
I am not looking for a competition, I just wanted to return the item but apparently is super hard to get rid of $14 that the whole POSHMARK is protecting this seller.
Ebay is more Buyer friendly and Poshmark is more Seller friendly.
So if you are buying something on Poshmark Beware!
I have received items that did not fit and did not seem to be Authentic.
I sent them detailed pictures and they turned me down.
This has happened more than 3 times.
They side with the seller every time.
So I am going back to Ebay.
Ebay has always helped me.
Poshmark is Horrible when it comes to their return policy.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
