Talk about rolling the dice! You've got a better shot of going to Vegas with $10 and leaving a millionaire than you do having a good experience on Poshmark. IF YOU BUY SOMETHING ON THIS SITE THERE IS A VERY GOOD CHANCE YOUR SELLER COMPLETELY IGNORES YOU! Have had it happen too many times. Having deleted my account once for this reason a couple of years ago I decided (against my better judgment) to give Poshmark another shot. I thought: " Hey, maybe they've improved". How stupid of me. Ordered a pair of shoes. Seller turned out to be the absentee kind. You know, the kind that have a closet on Poshmark that they've apparently forgotten about. Seller did not respond to messages, did not ship, and for all I know, fell off the face of the planet (with my shoes). Customer service (I use the term VERY loosely) just regurgitated the company's awful policies (which I already knew). Basically I just tied up my hard earned money for 8 days lending it to a nonexistent seller on Poshmark but with no interest. Good business plan. Deleted my account again and FOREVER. I hope Poshmark as a company crashes and burns!
I ordered a smart watch from a seller through Poshmark The seller never bothered to send it. You can't review or rate sellers. There appears to be no accountability nor can you message a seller. I will never use Poshmark again. I also learned that 4 out of 10 sellers fail to ship what is ordered.
I've ordered through poshmark 3 times. Not once have I received the order. I've canceled them every time because the sellers never ship them. I wouldn't trust the sellers in poshmark at all. Luckily, the company is good about refunds. But they're letting $#*! sellers ruin the entire thing.
Definitely don't recommend Poshmark purchases. Accidentally ordered wrong color men's shorts. Requested simple even-exchange for right color. Offered to work directly with actual Seller and pay for any resultant shipping charges. Poshmark Customer Service rejected my offer 3 times because of their "all sales are final" policy. Then they wanted me to complete a nearly impossible ultra-bureaucratic "open-an-account" maze. I explained I'm 73 years old and have only a simple flip phone. Poshmark didn't care! Finally gave up and returned unwanted shorts to the Seller at my cost. Assured Seller I would pay for article because she did absolutely nothing wrong.
Ordered a dress which stated "burnt Orange." Dress arrived but was rust colored. Filed a complaint. Provided pictures. No tags were removed and item was not worn. No return was allowed. The color variance was not minor. Picture provided. What is your opinion of the color? I would avoid using Poshmark unless I was positive about the size and color.
At first this seemed like a nice site - kind of like an eBay for clothes but they have other stuff. The stuff I bought all smelled like someone wore it on an all night (maybe all week) date - stale perfume and sweat and in one case marijuana. But I washed it because I figured it would be more of a hassle to return. There were a couple of items that never shipped, and they make you wait a period of time and then you can hit cancel and get your money back. But there was one seller, krystalrose619, who had the system down. They took my money and then marked the item as shipped. It never actually shipped mind you. Other stuff that I did buy in the past shipped and a tracking number appeared on the site. You could tell there was never any activity at the post office. It just always said that was coming soon but it never did. I contacted the seller and she played dumb and said to ask Poshmark and Poshmark, when they finally did get back to me they said to contact the seller. So I disputed with my payment method and won and the order showed as "CANCELLED" so I thought all was good. No earrings ever came. The whole experience made me need to take a break from that site for a couple of months. So this week I decided to give it another try. I have been able to do everything on the site but buy - I get a message that there is a problem and to contact Poshmark support. There is no chat or phone number - you have to email. I googled the error and found a reddit and another thread where MANY people were discussing it and apparently I got banned over that. No one ever contacted me saying I was banned, that I did anything wrong, or to get my side of the story. Poshmark is a suspicious site anyway as soon as you mark your item as received they try and get you to immediately sell it again. So that tells me they value sellers over buyers. The other people on those threads said Poshmark never contacted them to fix the problem and they were just unable to buy from that site ever again with no due process. I decided I was better off so just permanently cancelled my account. I will not due business with a site that would rather see me lose money, cancel me for trying to prevent myself from being stolen from, and then have zero due process or communication about the matter. Look at the number of stars they have on here and several other sites.
I had never shopped on postmark but found a suede fringe vest for a 60's costume party from a seller
On the site.
I paid for the item, the site said that the seller would ship within 3 days.
I received an email from postmark that they had reminded the seller to ship. 14 days later still no delivery or notice of shipping.
On the 15th day I was able to ask for a refund for order delay.
Received my refund promptly from Poshmark but was SO DISAPPOINTED as then it was too late to have another item bought and shipped for our 60's costume party.
Unfortunately don't think
I will shop on this site again.
I moved on from eBay as seller because with 30 day buyer protection system is biggest ripoff I sell brand new stuff people will literally wear abuse and send back claiming they don't like it not trying to be an prick but people are scum poshmark has advantages make sure you check love notes and reviews of seller I m a top seller and just because it don't fit you you should not return it you can sell it most time for profit stores have fitting room buy there it is the benefit of buying at big discounts from posh sizes are always shown and quality pictures if not then find another seller and of course only bad experience gets left here for reviews there's millions of good positive customers on there don't listen to little whiners
I don't know what it's like to sell on poshmark.ca but my experience as a (Canadian) buyer has been excellent. The vast majority of sellers are responsive, prompt and reasonable. Solid offers (not lowballing) are generally accepted or countered. Moreover, I like doing commerce within Canada. It's good for our economy, nést-ce-pas? And everything is tracked via Canada Post. You never have to worry about Customs' lags and fees. It's true that a very small minority of sellers don't ship. They simply don't. However, Poshmark will return your funds to you if the seller hasn't shipped within 7 days. A workaround is to make a reasonable/decent offer. That way, your money isn't held up even if the seller ignores your offer. I believe there's a 24-hour window for this type of transaction. I've found some wonderful items on Poshmark.ca. The shipping is a little pricey, but often enough a seller offers reduced shipping. If I could, I would leave a four-and-a-half star rating.
I only did business with Poshmark one time, but that was more than enough. I bought a pair of blue jeans, but, as happens with clothing these days, the sizes are smaller than what the tag says, because I think the mfr. Is trying to save material, so they're making things smaller. I received them, tried them on, then asked for a return/refund. They made it virtually IMPOSSIBLE to get a refund because you only have "72 hours" to make a complaint and return your merchandise. Highly unusual and unreasonable. Luckily, I had some protection (I had to threaten them) with Paypal, and forced them to accept the return, but only after I paid $18.00 in shipping to get it back to them, take screenshots of the tracking number and forward it to them as "proof", etc, etc. I finally got my refund, and I'm no fan of Amazon, but at least their return policy is second to none. I do a lot of business on eBay as well and their return policies are also excellent. IN ADDITION, when I went to dispute this item with Paypal, I (inadvertently) found out that Poshmark had signed me up for an ADDITIONAL DEBIT out of my card, automatically! How in the heck did THAT happen? Wow, fraud on a massive scale. Never buying from Poshmark again... BUYER BEWARE!
I purchase a top in a size medium. What came to me was a very stretched out top that resembled a extra extra size large. The tops size was in such sad shape, even though it was labeled a medium on the tag, that it was a terrible misrepresentation of the description by the seller. I contacted Poshmark with a photo of the item, and they would not approve a refund to me. This is horrible customer service and now I'm going to have to absorb the loss and will be donating the top and hopefully it will fit a much larger person. I guess my review is not the only bad review Poshmark has experienced. There are a lot of them on the internet. Beware of purchasing anything from Poshmark!
Literally just left a girls page, Brandytruitt. This girl goes to family dollar buys all the yard ornaments and household nic knacks she can for 2 or three dollars a pop and them sells them on poshmark for a 300 to 400 percent mark up... pure junk from family dollar and shes still selling them with their upc on them. This has to be illegal... shes a pirate! These mushrooms below are 3 apiece. She wants 35 for 4... this is not right
I would give them a 0. I purchased a Brahmin purse on Poshmark and it came in defective condition. Despite the 25+ photos I provided documenting the condition, they sided with the seller. There were SO many problems with this product. Anyone could see that it was a second quality item. This was the first and last transaction for Poshmark. They will NOT be getting my business again!
Terrible customer service. Sold an item and the buyer damaged I had proof from pictures the day before I shipped it but the buyer said it was damaged! So even though I provided pictures that the item was in pristine brand new condition they still returned me the item broken and gave the buyer the money back! Such scammers never doing business with them they only want to take the money, in top of that charge 20% of each sale for doing absolutely nothing. Worse company hope the go out of business soon
I was interested in a pair of sunglasses and when looked closely I noticed that side arm is broken and needs to be repaired. I brought it up to seller and attention and even tho she acknowledged the issue and cost related, she deleted my message so other buyers couldn't see it. When I notified Poshmark, they said that I was violating their communication policy. Cancel a company that wants to cover up and sell broken items just to make a dollar
This is the first time I sold on Poshmark and I am soooo disappointed. Not only did I sell my almost new items for a low price and got taken a huge portion by Poshmark fees but I actually never received payment from them! I requested $1800+ to be transferred to my bank account and it's been weeks, almost a month and I haven't received a dime. When I reached out to Poshmark they said the funds were transferred to my account. I sent another email to them confirming my bank account number and I never heard back from them. I've been trying to contact them but I am being ghosted and no one will answer my calls and their old outdated answering machine is full. This is such a $#*!ty company, worst customer service, and they really don't care about the users of the platform. They should get shut down from all the complaints they have. They are fraudsters!
I was a first time shopper on Poshmark and my first time is also my last. The company is simply unethical. In the first place they do not make you aware that there is a no return policy except in the case of defective items. Of course whether or not the item is defective is solely in the discretion of Poshmark so there is never a reason to return. I bought 2 pair of shoes. One was stretched out to the point where they were a size bigger (I literally had over an inch of room where my foot ended) and the other had been washed and dried and shrunk due to the cloth material. They were so small I could not walk in them. I was told that my only option was to sell them on their site so they could make more money off me. When I went into my Paypal account I saw they had somehow overrode my credit card payment so that it came directly out of my bank account without my consent or knowledge. They had also set up automatic payment from my Paypal account without my consent or knowledge. I filed a complaint with my bank so they could no longer access my account. I also filed a complaint with Paypal. When Paypal reached out to them they sent back a response which threatened "negative action against my account" if I did not close my complaint with Paypal. I was absolutely shocked that a company would threaten me for complaining. I responded that I would not be bullied by them and reported them to the Better Business Bureau. When I filed with the BBB I saw there were over 3,000 complaints against the company. Still trying to get my money back. Don't shop here - not worth the risk.
I purchased boots *******@chasing_tags on December 17,2021, but did not wear them for several weeks. Upon visual inspection, there seemed to be no issues. After wearing the boots 2 times, several weeks apart, I wiped them down with a wet cloth, and much of the skin came off. I believe the boots were wore out and a temporary fix was done in order to sell them. I attempted to contact Poshmark 2 times, but the only method to do this was through their online forum and it provided no email thread for documentation. I never received a confirmation of either complaint and never received a response from them. I then complained to the BBB. Poshmark responded to them declaring that I never issued any complaints. Poshmark makes it very difficult to contact them and does not allow anyone to report a dishonest seller unless it is done within 3 days. We, their customers and the only reason they remain in business, must be given a platform to rate their Sellers.
99% of the seller in Poshmark are scammers. DO NOT BUY anything from Poshmark. I bought a jacket and it is complete piece of crap. Horrible quality.
The day I signed up I received a coupon stating if I made a purchase within 24 hrs I would receive free shipping. I made the purchase a couple of hours later and did not receive free shipping. I contacted customer service through email - they don't share a phone number which is a red flag to begin with - and told them what happened. Not only did they take days to respond but they refused to refund my shipping cost even tho I shared with them a picture that I had snapped of that coupon the day I signed up. When I complained about it 2 more times asking for the shipping cost to be reimbursed the customer service team refused to even email me back at all. Terrible customer service and highly recommend not trusting them.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
