Deceptive description I purchased what I thought was a men's large linen shirt. Upon receiving my item I discovered that it was a large junior youth shirt my husband could not even get his shoulder in it I contacted the seller no response, I contacted Poshmark customer service several times no response. So I was left with a purchase that I could not return that was a total waste of money that I had to donate if I have $30 to throw away I would've been shopping on Poshmark. This is unfortunate for other sellers on this site but I will not ever buy something from Poshmark again and I am going to delete the app I cannot afford to be scammed because there is no customer service that is willing to help you do you want your own you're basically buying flea market stuff blindfolded good luck people. I am including the seller's name because I am *******@supgirl305
Disgusting disgusting company. When I sold, they took a huge chunk. And when I bought, they don't give refunds when the item is not as described or FAKE? I advise you to stay away. I wasted so much money from this stupid platform.
Do not use Poshmark, unless you want to be harassed by buyers. I was harassed by a buyer accusing me of running a scam. I sell legitimate items, I have and maintain 5 stars consistently. When I reached out to Poshmark, they gave me a caned answer, we are taking care of it. They issued credit for an item the buyer bought. The item works with no issues. Poshmark does not do due diligence. If they had reviewed the online chat from this buyer, they would realize i was the one who was being abused and harassed.
With the whopping 20% cuts they take, I've had nothing but problems with them from BOTH being a seller and a buyer. JUST TERRIBLE. I wish I didn't have to deal with them.
Payment for an order did not go through though money was deducted. Had requested for a refund with intimation or word. Zero customer service. Do not ever buy from this site
I bought a dress a beautiful dress. It did not fit me correctly I wanted to return it and Poshmark said that's not a reason for return therefore I am screwed and I am writing a review to tell people be very careful when buying clothes. They won't return it and now I am out for a refund I will never ever buy anything on posh mark again so be very careful. It's not worth the problem. The seller did NOT do anything wrong. It's Poshmark! Never again!
Cheri
Purchased a pair of coveted brand of $480. Nike off white "dunk" lot 34.18th bday. Never showed. Poshmark asked ME for the order number. I sent a note inquiring; no response. Contacted poshmark. After SEVERAL days, response with an inquiry for me. They asked for the order #. REALLY? After another several days, surprsry! They can't reach the seller ( THEIR seller). So they apologize and send me a 5 step procedure on how to cancel this item to be refunded. Again, REALLY? My response: the only action I'm taking is to contact my bank IMMEDIATELY! I ordered these on the 17th of April and still going back & forth on the 28th. It's quite confounding that Poshmark hasn't figured out the screening process and whether or not the people they represent will commit FRAUD toward others. It's a pretty basic tenet that's integral yo their business. Proceed with caution, people! Shocking to me that they would ask ME, the paying customer to provide the order #, then ask ME, the paying customer to jump hoops to cancel an order that was paid to THEIR seller committing fraud! I paid what was asked IMMEDIATELY! Who's getting protected here? True story!
NEVER AGAIN!
Worst online experience. Essentially no customer service. Garment I ordered said NWT. Strong sickening perfume odor. Tags tampered with. Purchase is very simple. Return instructions are ridiculous and purposely impossible to follow. Don't purchase from them.
1st the dress was not the size it was advertised and I proved that the measurements were wrong in photos and they would not give me a refund and told me to repost the dress. And this dress was not the designer that was stated. Total scam. The dress was advertised as 16 inches and it clearly was not.
Someome should sue poshmark they honestly need to be out of business forever. All I wanted was my money back $24.10 from *******@smayberryscott /Poshmatk but no you will not get it. Even when things weren't even discussed initially on the sellers website about the item then when the dispute happens and I contact customer service they automatically take the sellers side and say oh she said but she didn't say up until that moment of being in the middle of emails with customer service and me and then you want to say the truth but none of it was ever said or posted on the sellers page. And you want to chastise me and blame me and not give me a refund. The worst I mean the worst customer service ever!
You cannot get in touch with their customer service(?) I tried to cancel an order that was showing the wrong item but has not shipped. Nope. No contact from seller or Poshmark. I contacted my bank, and even they cannot cancel, just put in a disputed charge for me and who knows from there. My guess is, Poshmark will make me receive the item, dispute it with the seller, charge me $8 to send it back, and then hope I get the money back from the seller? Yeah right! From what I read, most people just have to try to resell on Poshmark (they get commission for that to, nice huh?) and hope. I'll just give the item to charity and NEVER use Poshmark again.
I purchased a "authentic" Fendi bag…
I purchased an "authentic" Fendi bag from a seller on Poshmark. I followed their policy exactly, sent in pictures of the bag and the fake serial number and they refuse to claim it as a fake bag. They told me if I wanted to make sure it was authentic to get it done at my own cost. Excuse me? Never again.
Bought a North Face vest. Ad had a grainy small photo. Vest arrived and had a bad fragrance like it was there to cover up something worse. What looked like the typical North Face logo was something else, It was a corporate promotion/logowear item. Poshmark refused the return. I have over 800 transactions on Ebay with no problems and I have honored returns because a buyer simply changed their mind. Stay far away from Poshmark. Ebay is GREAT!.
Do yourself a favour and pass on this site. Poshmark is just a disaster. They have the poorest Customer service possible. There fees are absolute thievery! 20% and a portion of the shipping is just greed especially when selling something of real value. A lot of scammers on the site and they do absolutely nothing about it at all. Other sites are much more respectful and reasonable. I think if more people pushes back on this disgusting company they would be forced to improve their customer service and lower their greedy charges.
I listed a vintage necklace as it was sold to me the person purchased the necklace and went through authenticity through Poshmark and was sent to the person person then wait a few days to claim that it's not represented as it was I have not received my funds I have not heard from poshmark she has my necklace I have no money I am outrageous that no one has gotten back to me the seller *******@oceanbreeze3355 on poshmark
I was a new seller and sold 2 items and got one 5-star rating and 1 love note. But soon after I got 2 emails from Poshmark claiming that I had 2 listings "counterfeit or authenticity cannot be guaranteed" and 1 "warning" email. The language was awful. They did not ask me to provide more pictures to prove and of course, they could not prove that my items were fake. To stop more emails like this from coming, I immediately deleted my account. I spent a lot of my time and energy on creating 41 listings. Their customer service did not care, did not help. My emails were not replied! I am a former BBC manager [I doubt if Poshmark staff know what BBC is at all] and also worked as a copyright executive. I know about this stuff. But I was appalled by the way they treated me, the language they used, so I deleted the account straight away. If you don't care how you are treated by their customer service, go for it.
This size is like instagram or Facebook. Everyday you haves 20-30 messages of love, like, follow, etc.
The stuff people sell is not quality clothing or designer. It is mostly very loved tshirts, shorts, cheap jewellery, etc for $10 to $20. Nice listings with value items don't get a lot of activity. It's a chitchat website we're lots of people waste their empty days.
Received approval to return shoes along with a shipping label to print. Stipulation that it be shipped within two business days. I am shipping today. Good thing I am not traveling too far. Let's see what happens.
Received shoes with parts of soles missing. No where in description. Only said good condition. Horrible
0 Star for customer service!
You will never receive a reply from their customer service. We have 1200 listing on the platform and have emailed them more than 10 times. Never have received a reply. They say they will reply in 48h but they wont reply for months...
If you plan to sell on the platform, plan to deal just with the robotic answering system and their robotic listing moderators:)
Brandville
I received a disingenuous email from Claire about cancelling an unshipped item. This was my response.
Claire, that item will be returned to the sender. I no longer live at that address due to me losing my job. Furthermore, that item was not shipped when I requested a return. In fact, I received an email this morning around 5:54 am stating there's a delay on my order - meaning it was not shipped to me. Under the category section, there is a "cancel unshipped order" selection. I requested to cancel my unshipped order - before it was shipped. You guys are not being compliant with your policies. Therefore, I am disputing this. I will never do business with a conniving business such as Poshmark.
Again, this item will be returned to the sender and I'm using all my correspondence with your company to include your selection that reads cancel unshipped orders - and you took days to reply.
This dispute is ongoing.
She had the audacity to reply by saying, "sorry again."
I was within the time frame, and she ignored that fact. They're the worst and this is not over. Needless to say, they will never get my business.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
