I bought a dress from Poshmark which was advertised as an original price of $259 sold as $89. The dress was clearly a knockoff. The fabric was of poor quality with no designer or name brand tag on the dress and it was just clearly a piece of junk. It could not be worth more than $25. It's too bad that Poshmark doesn't stand by their buyers. I will never buy from Poshmark.
I have purchased many items from Poshmark. Generally, transactions go smoothly but there are exceptions and that is ALWAYS an issue because their customer service is non existent. You cannot call them, so back and forth on email is all you get. The main frustration is that the reps only use "canned" responses, so they don't address specific questions or concerns in an email and often the response is just nonsense in regard to the issue being raised. They emails will repeat the exact same canned response over and over. Totally useless. After paying for priority mail (standard for them) I should have received a package in a few days. After waiting weeks… and finally receiving purchase after a month (because I opened a case with the USPS, which they refused to do)…. They would not even refund my shipping costs. Now they don't even reply to emails. Avoid this company.
The seller never shipped my order and doesn't answer messages. I've been trying to get a refund and Poshmark customer service has one excuse after another. Still trying to get my refund. Don't order off of this site!
Terrible or non-existence customer service. No customer service number to be found. Non-responsive when item arrived damaged, not as described. Seller responded she does not know how to process return and unaware the item condition when she didn't bother to check before shipping. Why and how Postmark is still in business. I do not even know how to permanently delete my account. No one is responding.
I'm a new seller on Poshmark. I sold two items pretty quick. But I need to verify my information. Unfortunately the verification email has never gone to my email I've checked spam I've checked everywhere. I emailed Poshmark about this, 10 times. I have not once received a response or any help for my verification process. Finally on the 9th and 10th time I got a generic email saying that they would get back to me hopefully within 24 hours that was 2 days ago. Poshmark is a joke and I would not bother using it if I was you!
2 Horrible experiences purchasing. HAD to file disputes with Paypal. Nuf said do NOT go there. Both sellers BEYOND rude as are turn a blind ey customer service LIARS! Wish I came here to read. NEVER EVER again would I purchase from this BS site. Can't say enuf BAD!
My first time purchasing from poshmark and I would never again. A jacquemus bag I wanted was taking forever to ship with ssense so I canceled it. I Saw someone had it listed on poshmark it looked to be authentic so I purchased it after further viewing pictures of the inside of the bags I realized it was fake!plus the price was a few hundred dollars cheaper. So I wrote the seller asking was the bag authentic and got no response. I contacted poshmark way before the bag shipped telling them to cancel.they still decided to ship the bag and it is indeed fake. I just want my money refunded. PayPal is now handling it I'm done contacting poshmark with no response.
I'm a seller but with my experiences selling I won't even buy anything from Poshmark. I sold a brand new bag and never claimed that it is a replica nor authentic which I specifically said it in my listing. There's this buyer who ordered and said it is fake and will return. I said sure. So she returned it under the Poshmark procedures but guess what, she put a garbage item in the shipment and kept my item. My item gone and I didn't receive any money. I contacted Poshmark many times, emailed proof of fraudulent transactions made by this buyer, with long supported explanations but they never look into my complaint. They keep sending an automated response that they can not authenticate the item and therefore it needs to be returned. I said fine! But I want my actual item back not this trash t was shipped to me. There were also some comments by other sellers about this buyer and I took photos of them and sent it to them. I'm about to get a lawyer to cooperate in correcting the way people do business. It's a zoo out there at Poshmark, fraudsters and rotten customer service. Worst selling platform ever that I ran into. Btw I am highly rated in other platforms.
Shoes advertised as brand new. I plucked box off porch and immediately unwrapped to find worn ankle straps, worn buckle and scuffed soles. Did not even try on but immediately asked seller about return. Communication with seller was easy. Had to google to figure out how to return on Poshmark, this was confusing to figure out on site. Site also does not make it clear that you cannot release funds to seller and get a refund (I did not as I did not realize this was a step). Poshmark created a return label but I did not receive an email telling me this was approved even though I checked in on the site daily. Again, had to do a search to find out how to find, download and print the label. Returned items immediately after printing label and they have yet to make it back to the seller. This was an inexpensive purchase so hopeful to get my money back but if this were a lot of money I would be really unhappy - it's been over two weeks since original purchase and I doubt I will get funds back anytime soon. I will be deleting my Poshmark account as soon as this issue is resolved. Buyer beware!
Purchased an item that was misrepresented. I thought that Poshmark's escrow service would step in once I submitted the evidence of obvious fraud and they told me the item was as described and gave the money to the crook! They are aiding and abetting people who are selling fake items on the site. GO ELSEWHERE!
Unless you consider getting ripped off part of the bargain avoid poshmark like the plague!
I purchased a pair of WHBM skinny jeans from *******@lisalamy516 that were new with tags – about $80 after tax. Upon arrival, I immediately tried them on and found a small defect – it was fraying near the zipper. The same day, I wrote the seller, described the defect, sent pics, and requested an exchange – she never responded.
I should mention, the fraying was difficult to photograph because it was so small. And it's not something I can simply snip off, for fear of making it worse. In any case, if I was in a brick and mortar, I'd definitely choose another pair of jeans.
2 days later, I requested a refund through Poshmark and purchased another pair from another seller - I was worried about holiday shipping times and needed a pair right away. I'd also read Poshmark's return policy and felt confident the pics I sent of the defect were more than adequate *******@lisalamy516 immediately responded with several messages saying that the defect looked like a tear or mark, that the jeans weren't meant to be worn skin tight, & accused me of damaging the jeans. I reminded her that they were skinny jeans, and informed her they were no more tight on me than on the model in the posting. I also explained that the waist was actually a bit too large, but I loved them so much that I'd initially requested an exchange, which she ignored. I sent her another pic showing how the defect wasn't noticeable when the jeans were laid flat. She sent multiple messages referring to her high rating, multiple sales, and how she'd never send a defective product.
When Poshmark finally responded, they claimed that the defect didn't qualify for a return, applied a $5 credit to my account, and reminded me that I could resell it on Poshmark. The Poshmark return policy claiming full refunds if the buyer receives an item "not as described" is a lie. I know now that even if the 2nd pair is defective, Poshmark won't honor their phony return policy. And even if the 2nd pair are defect-free, I'll be permanently canceling my account. I wish I'd checked Poshmark's ratings before this purchase – I'd never purchase from them at all.
Hopefully my experience will help others avoid Poshmark and/or *******@lisalamy516
I purchased a defective belt and opened up a complaint with Poshmark along with photos. They responded by asking me for more photos and a video even though you could clearly see the defect in the photo I sent. I sent photo and video as requested and was told they didn't receive it within the time frame requested even though I sent it immediately. They credited me $5.00 on what should have been a $15.00 refund. I will never purchase anything on this platform nor sell anything on it.
My seller account was suspended with no notice. I was informed after contacting support for another matter. I was accused of having counterfeit items. All my images have all tags and original packaging. I have proof of purchase for every item. They were no help just accused me and that was it. I have seen many fake items and those accounts are active. The customer service is garbage. No direct number to get help. Poshmark is the worst. Seller beware.
I purchased an item from this company; it said the black portion was slightly faded; when I received the item, it was bent, damaged & all the colors were very severely faded; I reported this to Poshmark immediately & told them I thought their description of the item was incorrect; they refused to let me return the item or refund me my money. II will never buy anything from this company again! They've permanently lost me as a customer!
Poshmark is an app used mostly by underage kids with no intention to buy. Returns are hard and kids will play the counterfeit card as a return excuse. When returns are granted, sellers will receive their formerly new items wadded up in a wrinkled ball inside out. Returns are always accepted if you can show a picture of a tear or stain on a garment that wasn't described in the listing. Even finding one tiny short loose thread will grant you a return As a seller Poshmark is a great app for selling large and heavy clothing items since the shipping fee covers up to 5 lb but you better have only trendy items and be willing to waste an hour a day sharing. The sharing process is probably the stupidest invention on Earth most Poshmark users have moved on to mercari You must also be ready to put up with constant kids lowballing you as Poshmark has no filtering system as a seller be prepared to put up with nitwits that will ask you to pose in the item you're selling and be willing to put up with endless trade questions and available questions nothing is more annoying than having a person ask you if the item you're selling is still available you tell them yes they never buy. They ask you that question because most of the underage sellers will list the same item on another Marketplace and sell it and forget to take it off the other Marketplace. As a plus Poshmark allows you to have multiple quantities in one listing I could go on and on but I'm going to stop it will be hard for you to make more than $700 a year on Poshmark then when you do be prepared to pay 30% of it back to the taxman it is possible to make thousands of dollars on Poshmark because I have but again you need to have very trendy items and be able to get them at a good price also it's not a good place to sell expensive items because it doesn't matter how real it is you'll be accused of it being fake if people are unhappy with the seller because they don't accept their offers they report listings and get you in trouble listings that are perfectly fine
I would give them a big fat ZERO. If it were available. I bought was advertised as Apple Airpods Gen. X 2. Which ended up being a $25 cheap knockoff from Walmart. I paid $65 for what I thought was Apple Airpods genX 2. Poshmark refused the refund bc they said the payment had already been sent even though, they advise on website you have 72hrs to dispute the fake ad.after you receive the product. I emailed them the very next day after receiving itso whatsup with that POSHMARK?
Would give Zero Stars, but wouldn't accept Zero. I sold a vintage Grateful Dead T-Shirt on Nov 10,2022 using a printed Poshmark shipping label. I personally dropped off at my local Post office and received tracking confirmation. On checking my Poshmark account there was a notice that my sale was cancelled. When I inquired as to why it was cancelled I received the following email: "Thanks for your email. It looks like your cancelled sale is a counterfeit item. Please note that selling replica/inspired items is against our policy, as well as Federal Law. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any additional assistance. We appreciate your understanding." I then contacted the Buyer and his response was "That's not what I said. It just never arrived." So Poshmark is using the counterfeit excuse to prevent reimbursing me for an an item that was lost using their shipping label

This review is to say on my last purchase from posh mark will be my last I purchased a Sak backpack for a seller and I wasn't satisfied with it so I sent it back the next day the saler gets it back 3days later and says poshmark has dispatched my return so she kept my 61$ I think that's wrong I went threw all the proper procedures I am looking into the matter further with my attorney
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
