Do not sell expensive designer stuff on postmark

Do not sell you valuable designer bags or shoes on poshmark! They are not qualified or equipped for it! I sold my very expensive Dior bag through them and it was a One Month Nightmare. They first asked me to to ship it to their office in CA for quality and authenticity verification ( which is good) but instead of taking their usual 4 days ( other sites take up to 24 hours only) poshmark held my bag for over 10 days in their office I had provided a full receipt from the store with my name on it and credit card receipt attached. After 6 days of my bag sitting in their office I wrote numerous emails demanding my bag to be shipped back to me that I do not feel comfortable anymore with the procedure poshmark replied about 1 out of 3 emails taking 1-3 days to answer ( they do not have a phone number to reach, they do not reply to all email your emails and they can take uo to 3 days to reply if they do). After all my requests to send me my bag back they sent me an email after 10 days saying my bag was approved and sent to the buyer. After my bag arrived at the buyers house he still had 3 days to do his own "approval" and he submitted a request for return saying he doesn't think my bag was atheistic! I on my hand did not think to worry since Poshmark themselves approved the bag, I still had my receipt from the store and cc receipt as well. And yet Poshmark decided to approve his request to return my bag! Imagine the feeling of someone holding your bag for days and then returning it to you and not even back to Poshmark office for quality return check up! Poshmak not only agreed for buyer to send my bag back but didn't even take it in to make sure it is in the same condition as it was before they sent it to him! The bag was on the way back to me with the cheapest service usps it too 10 days to get back.
The worst customer service communication.
The worst authentication process.
The worst seller protection.
I will never sell anything worth more than $100 on poshmark.

Purchase brand new snowboard boots for my daughter that didn't fit. Wouldn't allow me to return for a refund within 3 days of purchase and offered to pay for shipping! Deceptive dirt bags that I will pursue further!

Do not bother unless you want 0% chance of customer service helping with incorrect listings. They are not only unhelpful, but also woefully dismissive. I purchased a pair of shoes listed as a baby's shoe (7) that was instead a big kids shoe (also 7). Because the shoe I received had the number 7 on it my request to return was denied despite numerous pictures clearly laying out the issue. The seller admitted to the error but because Poshmark had denied my return request they will not reopen the case and instead have put the blame on me for not double checking with the seller that they did in fact list the item correctly.
1 star is a huge over rating of this business.

Highway robbery

This is the worst place you can purchase from…. I placed an order for a celine bag that supposedly in excellent barely used condition. Once I received the bag i found popped stitches scratches all over the handles and lost its shape. Immediately i open a case with poshmark to return the bag … they offer me $100 credit and to keep the bag i refused then they said at the end that it is not qualified for return and forced me to keep the bag… I dispute the transaction with my bank. And this stupid poshmark only answer was these flaws might be happened during the shipping… is it my fault? Is it my problem?they should be responsible and return my money…The worst company ever never ever will purchase from them. Honestly there are much better companies do even better out there … stay away from poshmark

Not a good site.

I thought it maybe a really good site for selling and purchasing, but it has become worse after 4 years on it. Cannot return things, sellers can sell stuff that is not working and Poshmark will not let you return it. Most of the stuff people sell has been tripled in price and you can purchase it off Amazon cheaper. I am really thinking about closing my shop!

I ask for a refund and the person said they would refund and then change their minds and only give a 5 dollar credit. Posh mark customer service representatives lied to me and now has closed the cased. I would really like to expose this site.

I tried to ship a pair of boots I was selling thru the app using the Poshmark label. It said to charge $79 to ship them - WHAT! I say. This was wrong and I had to cancel the order because they couldn't resolve the issue. BUT POSHMARK RECORDED IT AS A SALE and marked my item sold, even though I still have it for sale. I lost a sale and the buyer lost out on a fantastic deal and Poshmark WON BECAUSE THEY ERRONEOUSLY RECORDED THE SALE. Nobody was satisfied at all except the bots at Pissmark.

I bought a wig from Poshmark that was supposed to be platinum blonde and it came in as a dark blonde and in spite of everything I did to show them, including pictures, they would not give me a refund. Please, please do not do business with Poshmark. They are doing business with sellers who will lie about everything to keep your money.

I've been a poshmark buyer and seller for almost 10 years. Relatively successful selling and pretty terrible overall buying experiences. More things wrong than right. Most recently bought a pair of jeans that were misrepresented - reached out to posh during the allotted time and was asked to provide additional pictures - and I did. Twice. Now they sent an email saying they've closed the case and I can't return the jeans because I didn't send the pictures! I have the damn emails! Infuriating and not the first time they've done me like this, but it will be the last. Good job losing a decade long customer Poshmark; hope it was worth it.

Absolutely Terrible!

I had no idea about the bad business this site is supporting! So I purchased a skirt and a top in size XS from one of the sellers. Both items arrived and were obviously damaged and shrunken to children's size! I was shocked! The top measures 10.5" across the bust area! I had reached out to the brand and found out that it should measure 31.5 to 33"! I immediately contacted Poshmark, but a week later they have not allowed a refund! I am still in the process of trying to return this garbage, but am not getting anywhere. This is by far the worst shopping experience I've ever had. Do NOT waste your time and money with this horrible website!

Poshmark Ripped me offt

I ordered a Nino Cerruttii sports jacket that was listed as a 44L which is the size I wear. When I got the jacket I tried it on and it was far too small maybe a 42R I declined the sale and told the seller it was not a 44L and she said she would refund me because she wasn't exactly sure of the size since it is not on the jacket. Poshmark disagrees and released the funds to the seller after asking me to get a tape measure out and clearly measure the jacket from 5 different angles. I'm so pissed at Poshmark right now r

Caveat emptor

1-10-23 I purchased a Garmin running watch allegedly used twice. Within 10 days the band broke in 3 places (see photos) and a couple of days later all it would do is display time and date and would not take a charge. Now time and date are frozen at 10:56 and 3 Feb, respectively. I contacted seller every time something new went wrong and she eventually told me to deal directly with Poshmark which I did. Their response was "Cases must be opened within 3 days of the item being marked delivered to your shipping address and the order must not be marked as received." In other words a buyer has 3 days after delivery to file a complaint unless buyer indicates he or she has received the item, at which time there is no recourse. Anything purchased on Poshmark is "as is",
I.e., if any problem with the item comes up after you acknowledge receipt you are out of luck.
In summary, if you have a product to sell that you can temporarily hide the defects on for 3 days Poshmark is for you. But if you are on the flip side of that coin all I can say is "caveat emptor." Or, better yet, read and believe the reviews of Poshmark. On the bright side Poshmark will be out of business before 2024 arrives.

I purchased a sweater (I own several of these EXACT sweaters in the same size but in different colours). The sweater I received was much smaller. It is obvious there has been shrinkage. The seller refuses to take any responsibility, insists the sweater is "brand new and unworn" and instead blames me that I should have asked for measurements. The seller keeps insisting that I can't return something simply for "changing my mind" when it has nothing to do with changing my mind. The sweater has been misrepresented. Poshmark has done absolutely nothing to help. Will never purchase anything from this site again. It's a platform for scammers.

Poshmark's way of settling disputes is very biased. They will most likely just side with whoever has more influence on their platform (usually the seller) as this is where they make their money from. Also, there is quite a bit of deception coming from their sellers. If you must use Poshmark, although I don't recommend as there are better platforms to use for online thrift, then I suggest you do extensive research into the item you are considering.

Cancellation

I tried to cancel an order within an hour of placing it in error. I got no reply after several requests. Now I have to file a dispute with my credit card company. They processed the charge with lightening speed for an item you most likely would not have been received for 3 weeks.
DO NOT ORDER FROM POSHMARK. They don't care about you as a customer.

BUYER BEWARE!

Do NOT Buy from Poshmark! There is NO customer service, so pretty much they can sell you anything and u have to keep it. I was sold Michael Kors shoes that are damaged and won't stay on. They refused the return…. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! POSHMARK IS A RIP OFF!
