HORRIBLE! I BOUGHT A PAIR OF BIRKENSTOCKS AND GOT A PAIR THAT ARE OBVIOUSLY FAKE. I SENT them photographs, one which shows the logo on the bottom, another photo showing there is an obvious size discrepancy and I have RA and cannot hold my phone and a shoe at the same time! I was out of town from Friday afternoon through Sunday. They sent an email on Thursday that I didn't see until Friday night and I didn't take the fake shoes with me so they closed the case, BUYER ACCEPTS SHOES! NO REFUND. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER, NOTHING.

Ebay has better policy. Poshmark has a very small window (72 hours) to reposond to an issue and after that i'm told there is nothing you can do they sale is final. Ie if i have a faulty item that will work for a short period I can sell it on poshmark and buyer will be stuck with it. Customer service no existence- did not reply to email and it now feels a little like a scammy (if you encounter an issue) proceed with caution I would say the risk is not worth it, im $110 out of pocket
Poshmark is a do not enter zone! After at least
8 Emails, I was finally answered with a downright lie! Never addressed my 3 Emails concerning canceling my order. Poshmark is totally inept and unprofessional. A truly Buyer Beware company! Avoid them like the bubonic plague!
DO NOT sell anything of value. Poshmark allowed a buyer to keep my authentic Louis Vuitton designer bracelet and refunded them, would not send it back to me and said they were disposing of it. They said this was because they could not authenticate it. It was never sent to them for authentication as I sold it for less than $300. So based on the customer not being sure it was authentic and some customer service employee with questionable intelligence they made the decision to steal my bracelet and claw back my earnings. Meanwhile they allow hundreds of thousands of obvious fakes to circulate and sell continuously. All the Polene bags for sale are fake. At a 20% cut and falling company value why wouldn't they let it continue? In this case they seem to have sided with the buyer because they're losing buyers. It's insane how they can arbitrarily decide my actually authentic bracelet was a counterfeit item without proof. They didn't even follow their own policy and I have began legal action. Steer clear of this site especially if you have items that are if any real value because you might not get them returned to you if the buyer opens a case. And it's going to be some employee from a very tight knit family that decides your fate.
I made a legitimate purchase from Poshmark in May 2023. Transaction went smoothly and item was received as described. Fast forward to June…I get a notification that my credit card has been charged by Poshmark. I also received an order confirmation email for a pair of used, nasty shoes that I did not order. I contacted the "seller" to let them know I did not place this order. Their only response was "ok". I contacted Poshmark support and they basically called me a liar. They said since purchase was made using my credit card and being shipped to me, I must have accidentally made the purchase. I DID NOT make this purchase. Not sure what type of scam orders something using your card and ships it to you, but that is exactly what happened. Their payment protection clause is bull. Item has not shipped yet and no one at Poshmark will help me by just cancelling this fraudulent order. I've filed a dispute with my credit card company instead. Beware of purchasing from them, and if you do remove your payment info.
I've bought and sold on Poshmark for years. They're the only app exactly like it's kind and in many ways they dominate online used clothes shopping. There's a lot you can only find through them and the app is very user friendly. Lately the customer service I've received as both a buyer and a seller has been a major let down, which I'll explain with two examples.
As a seller: I was taking awhile to ship an item but still in the allotted timeframe. The customer reached out and was very rude about it and I told her that I wasn't comfortable completing a sale to someone who was speaking to me the way she was and cancelled the order. She proceeded to call me names. I reported her to Poshmark, who did absolutely nothing. They didn't even respond to my message. Wouldn't be surprised if that's the first time she treated someone that way and it certainly won't be the last, as apparently there are no consequences. They are helping create an unsafe online community.
As a buyer: I purchased an item described as something with a "raw hem." I didn't realize what this meant exactly but had seen items described this way before and they seemed fine. It turns out it was a romper that was cut in half to make a shirt. I reached out to Poshmark who again did nothing and when I pressed, kicked me a $5 site credit. The item was misrepresented and they could care less. They instead told me that it was represented accurately and they couldn't help me. I've made them so much money as a buyer and a seller and it means absolutely nothing to them. They make a ton of money off loads of people, why would they care about a single custmer?
As much as I feel like I hate their customer service, I still use the site. If you're looking for something niche it might be the only place you can find it, which is the only thing that keeps me there. They have the upper hand in this department and know it. If you want to feel respected as a buyer or a seller, however, this is not the place. They are greedy and lack empathy.
Poshmark is the worst site that I've ever been to. I tried selling authentic name-brand bags, and I had tons of cheapskates trying to lowball me. It wasn't enjoyable because they tried to get over on me as if I was working at a flea market. I even went above and beyond to post MY very OWN proof of purchase for those bags so that customers would see that I was legit, but no PoshMark took my listings off!
I have no reason to scam anyone out of anything, but going the extra mile to PROVE to these people that I'm selling authentic handbags was too much for them. They left a bad taste in my mouth for good. Oh! And let's not mention how I had tons of lowballers to make deals and turn around to cancel (LoL). What a joke! If you don't have the money, honey, just say that.
Customer service is beyond terrible. Stay away from this site They will screw you and leave you with themerchandise you are not happy with. Never shopping there again. The worst experience ever!
Accepted on accident shorts and realized after was wrong size I contacted poshmark support and got back to me that day that to send pictures etc and will look into it for me
Have been asking for any updates no response.nothing
This happened Monday and is now Friday and nothing
I purchased A Fendi bag from a seller on PM.I paid $520 for the bag, it had to go thru PM Headquarters to be authenticated. The bag passed their unprofessional authentication process.I received the bag 4 days later. As soon as I saw it.I knew that this bag was a cheap knockoff.Poshmark so called Authentication card was the biggest insult.A postcard.with someone's initials written with a black marker in scribble. This is their way of not accepting responsibility.(no real names.just initials)…I can tell that the seller had the bag gift wrapped in a professional manner.PM just took the bag threw it in a box threw the ribbon and the torn tissue paper on top of the bag, and sent it to me.The presentation looked like trash.Despite all of that.I took the bag to a luxury handbag boutique here, to have authenticated. It came back Inauthentic.Poshmark is a ripoff. They set me up to be ripped off.And because the 3 days window to open a request had already passed.I am stuck with a $520 plus tax.fake Fendi bag. Thanks Poshmark.Avoid this site, unless you want to get ripped off..
I ordered a purse based on the description. When it arrived, it wasn't what I expected because the false description. I contacted customer service and they tell me that it's not worth doing a return. And to basically relist it on their website. They're trying to force me to to keep something that I don't want. If I sent it back without customer service approval, I wouldn't be guaranteed a refund! So I can't get my money back. I feel scammed.
Horrible customer service. Most items are reposhed and aren't worth the 7.95 shipping. Smell, poor quality and many dishonest, don't care sellers. Very disappointing. Will NEVER buy from this website again.
After trying to sell things on poshmark I was informed I had to put in $200 in my account to sell anything over $200 which I did with no problem. The problem was after putting the $200 into my account poshmark was requiring me to put $755 dollars into my account. I don't have that money in hand at the moment, after emailing poshmark asking if I can redirect the $200 back into my card they said they can't cancel or send my money back unless I pay the $755. If I would've known I had to add that much into my account I wouldn't have to begin with. After I called the account from the Amex card I bought just for the $200 to be sent, and they said my money wasn't transferred to poshmark but to another company. Poshmark I ask you to answer the emails I sent, you stopped answering after this incident.
We got bed bugs from a pair of leather boots and luxury purse. By the time the eggs matured and became bugs, it was too late and we had a full blown infestation. It cost thousands in professional treatments, heat treatments, laundering clothes. What hurt the most is having to throw out our favorite designer sofa. I love the Poshmark discounts, who doesn't? But am traumatized to shop it.
I placed 2 orders with Poshmark because the first seller was a ghost and never responded and never mailed the item. The second was purchase of the same item from a different seller - also a ghost who never responded to my messages and never mailed the item. How pathetic for Poshmark to send me emails about 2 orders saying I have the right to cancel the order at that point? Don't they have any pride and the second time around have something better to say than that? I did not lose any money like most of these reviews, but I lost time getting my item believing this was a real website. My advice ignore it completely so you can go to a real website like eBay and may pay more but how can you compare prices when 1 of them is total fiction. Also I felt like customer support at Poshmark does nothing to hold sellers responsible. I wish I would have read reviews before I ordered from Poshmark. Never again there is too much competition.
Loved that they sent me boxes. I sent several new Jean pants in a variety of colors and other items tees, etc. with their charges I never received my items back that were " unsold". One of those places that more if not all for them. Never received a dime for the two boxes of new and almost new.
Too expensive. In many cases I can buy a designer or luxury tennis dress for less somewhere else. Far too many No Returns. As far as I'm concerned if I can't return it after trying it on and paying $250 dollars, I'll go elsewhere.
I posted last week about a buyer on Poshmark lying about the condition of a pristine Coach purse sold by saying it smelled of kitty litter (? I do not and never had a cat). When I countered this claim to Poshmark, the still allowed her to return it, and worst of all, it counted as a black mark on my excellent sales record. When I received the purse back, it absolutely did not smell as buyer had claimed. I again emailed this disputed information to Poshmark and their response was to give me $10 but still mark it as a negative against my account...I told them to keep their $10 and cancel my account. I will never deal with Poshmark again.
I'm not happy with PoshMark. I gave them the chance because they they had something I was really looking for. But they have a non existent return policy. You can only return or get a refund if the order wasn't delivered or if the wrong item was sent or damaged but if your item doesn't fit or if you don't like it, you're out of luck. Of course the sellers don't add the important stuff to their listing such as measurements or details, fabric content, etc., you can't really tell if it's going to fit. I foolishly ordered thinking I could return it, but no, so I'm never buying there again. It's nothing like eBay.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
