Several orders I submitted never arrived (although I ended up canceling and didn't get charged). Also, my request for a return for a non-fitting item was denied. Don't think of them as "Amazon". I would not recommend it.
I bought a purse and running shoes that reeked of cigarette smoke. So bad that I had to leave them outside. The few hours in the house and the smell was everywhere. I was unable to return the purse. I had put the shoes in the washing machine so I kept them. The purse is going to charity. It is a Coach purse.
Poshmark is terrible for sellers. Not only do they take off 20% plus freight plus taxes but if somebody claims they didn't get an item they don't release your funds. I sent expensive jewelry to the authentication department who sent it to the buyer and the buyer saying they didn't get it and they won't release my funds, they are the ones who sent the package to the buyer don't sell from this site.
The item I ordered was a Small. I received an XL. When I let Poshmark know about the problem, they told me I had to return the item within 2 business days. The problem is: I would have to print out a label (I don't have a printer) and then take it to the post office. All this for a $20 blouse. The burden is 100% on me. I'm required to go to all this work, and all I did was order something from them.
Forget them! This is the last item I'm buying from Poshmark. It's now my problem because they can't get their order right.
I purchased a new $158 Tommy Bahama shirt that was listed as LARGE. When it arrived it was a MEDIUM. Poshmark was of NO HELP and released my money to this seller anyway. After litterally 25 emails Poshmark replied "we gave you a full day to send pictures and you didn't". ONE DAY? So this fraudulent seller got away scott free and Poshmark enables her.
So I sold 5 items total. 3 no issues other 2 claimed that items are not authentic. Poshmark did not authenticate the items they canceled the order and I did not get my valuable jewelry back. Do not get scammed like I did! They should be ashamed of them self.
These people should be in prison. They have been reported to the BBB, the Federal Trade Commission, the sheriff, our banks and other enforcement agencies, for ripping off customers, especially seniors with disabilities. We placed an order, took a photo of it, they sent the wrong size, refused to take it back, or give us a refund, saying we could sell it again on their platform. That's like going back to Dachau for three days and nights. Without question, Poshmark's demise is imminent.
I sold a Rolex/ tiffany watch recently. Only to have sale canceled after Poshmark reviewed it for over a week. Said it was fake and returned it with stem broken, winding wheel missing with 2 screws left in movement. (Im told this by a trustworthy watch expert). Poshmark admits Nothing while offering me a 75 poshmark credit lol Terrible customer service. And their experts are not to smart to send a watch back in parts. Please stick with clothes items dont sent items that are Expensive not Experienced enough for that. Please Beware
Poshmark claims it does not allow returns, but that is not the case, as I just learned. I was selling a vintage item, and was very explicit about its age-related imperfections in my listing. It was immediately bought by a woman who somehow expected a 40-year-old item to look new, and who filed a claim against me. The real $#*! of it is that she "opened the case" at 1 a.m., and I had six hours to respond. So by the time I saw the messages in the morning, Poshmark had already found in her favor, allowing me no input. I've sent several messages to Poshmark, and get chirpy responses that in no way address the issues I'm raising. Better to stick with ebay.
A Gucci bag. They said there was minor wear and posted pics of what looked like a newish bag. The bag showed up ratty and smelly. Truly really bad. Put in for review and was denied. In fact, I wrote to the seller who laughed at me and said "good luck with that". I am fuming. I also took it to a luxury bag restorative expert and he told me it would cost 659 to make it usable. I actually have an app where I found emails for vp 's and have written to them.let's see what happens
I used to believe in this company. They are scammers frfr. The girl sold me two pairs of size 9 heels. When they got here one was a 9 and the other said 7 on the bottom. When I complained I was told in UK its a woman's size 9 yet I couldn't even come close to putting it on my foot. Clearly it was a size 7. Poshmark basically said sorry about your luck gave me a 5.00 credit and told me to give to a friend or resell on Poshmark. I'm livid. This company helped a scammer scam me
This site robbed me. Please do not use POSHMARK at all. This site is not honest. I wrote to them and they not help me to get my money back. They don't have a contact number to speak to someone. You need to write to them and then a generic email is sent that they cannot help us. The person was selling Lullemon and he gave his personal # to call. He must have robbed so many clients on that day. He robbed $500.00 from me and Poshmark never did anything. Please do not use this site at all.
Taking 20% of your item is way to much. That means they keep $20 out of every $100 you sell. Way better site to work with that don't gouge you.
My order took almost 3 weeks to ship. This was way too late for me to use it for what I wanted and the website had said it would ship within 3-5 days. There was a complete lack of accountability and support. Would never use again.
People stay away from those fraudulent website that selling knock off products. I hope they go out of business forever starting this month. What a horrible place you shop here you are shopping with the devil.
If you are a seller looking to offload poor quality bags, you're in good hands. Poshmark will protect you. But if you are a buyer BEWARE! They will not look over any claim you have with care. Of course, they make money on selling bags and that is all they care about! Just know that there are much better sites to purchase vintage or slightly used bags. Do your homework, and don't but on Poshmark unless you dont care about quality! Good luck out there.
This happened to me and Poshmark will do it to YOU! I sold and shipped an item as a regular seller. Bc USPS never picked up tracking on the package Poshmark CANCELED AND REVERSED the transaction even though I provided proof of delivery! So the buyer received my bag and Poshmark canceled the payment. Absolutely no recourse available unless I sue. Do NOT be fooled

I sent several message to resolve a phone verification problem and they responded with,you are glad you reached our team is resolving the issue as fast as they can.But still emailing me to ship item and knowing I can't then the final result was me losing a $250 sale because of there 24hr response bs that is false now the order has been canceled thanks another
Poshmark breaks its own policies regarding releasing funds to sellers! Their policy states that seller funds are released and deposited 2-3 days after requested. This is not true! I started on Poshmark and have made 3 sales, thus far, my first taking from time of delivery, making sure I requested the funds, from that time to the time funds are deposited into my bank is a total of 8 days! Now my 2nd sale took over 14 days to be deposited! Unacceptable! Sold my 3rd item and I should be able to request funds on 6/29. But so far no answer. Customer service is AWFUL! This was a test for POSHMARK and they FAILED terribly! Use another site to sell items if you want to receive your money for expensive items sold!
Seller sold me "new without box" boots that were actually in horrible condition... and Poshmark refused to let me return them... (they were $80, they're not worth $5!)
Worst part is, the seller is still selling her garbage... all as new without tags/box! Pretty sure none of her items are even close to new!
Ebay is far more reputable! I will never buy or selll on this trash site again!
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!

Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!

Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
