All the items are crap that i have bought so far. One smelled like a moldy diaper and posh mark wouldn't let me return it. Nowhere in the description did it say anything about an odor. They sided with the seller only to get the stupid 20% which is WAY to much to charge for smelly bull!

POSHMARK WARNING
February 3, 2016

This is my second review on Posh... I thought I would give it another shot. My first account was locked due to exposing how to tell if you're dealing with a scammer or not. I didn't list the seller's name I only proved that the pics (she stole) were fake (by using Veracity). I posted the stolen pics in MY CLOSET, just showing others how to use Veracity. There was a group of ladies trying to take this peticular scammer down... her name is Julie, she's probably still using Posh. Posh customer service is nonexistent for what they are charging their sellers! If you do have an issue you will get a generic message that doesn't address the issue you're having! So I stupidly decided to try again and just be more vigilant and just avoid the scammers all together. I only sold/bought from users that had good reviews. I have been using my new account for over 6 mo, selling over $1,000 worth of items. No complaints, perfect reviews every time! Suddenly my account was locked, I emailed Posh and was told "Due to their very accurate system I had ties to an account that was locked, so I would no longer be able to buy/sale" Well Posh's very accurate system allowed me to sale for 6mo, not for sure what triggered the system. I requested a direct deposit on the 3rd of Dec. (account wasn't locked yet) I'm still waiting on my deposit. And Same problem as before their customer service sucks, only way to contact is email and you have to wait days for a response. I also have an order that wasn't finalized, but I was sent the EXACT same email twice. Proving they don't actually address the issue! So now I am out around $100. This time I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, next is my state Attorney General, then the BBB. I urge anyone that has been scammed by this company to do the same! That's the only way this will stop! I know reviews like these are beneficial but these sites like sitejabber aren't well known enough.

Seller fees too high!
February 2, 2016

Poshmark wanted to be petty by giving me a 1- star rating for my honest review so I just came back to show some love & change my initial 2-star rating (was being nice at first) to 1-star! I sold something on Poshmark for $200 & they took $40 out of it, leaving me with $160! The seller fees are way too high! Poshmark charges 20% while Ebay withholds 10%! Who do these people think they are?!?

Verbally abusive sellers
January 31, 2016

My worst problem about this site has been from the sellers insulting me. I ask very relevant questions, and have been treated like I'm a complete moron. Someone should be allowed to ask if something is real or fake; I can generally tell if it is.

Poshmark is prejudice!
January 30, 2016

This selling site is bias. They allow fake items to be sold by some sellers and then accuse others of breaking their rules. I mean, at least eBay sticks to their very strict contracts! Not sporadically picking and choosing who to harass Is it because of the race of a person? I mean. Get real people. You get what u pay for and its just crazy to think otherwise.

Shopping at Poshmark is a huge risk. They supposedly have someone "authenticating" merchandise, when there is no proof. For all I know, they are swapping the real merchandise for fakes, and making extra money on the side. People are clearly selling fakes, and should not be allowed (per federal law). It's a travesty that this company condones such actions.

I've been on posh for about 3 months now. I have sold 20 items so far and purchased way more than that lol. I've also traded once (allowed by posh) successfully. I haven't personally had any bad experiences.
Pros:
~ You find great deals
~ The community aspect is awesome
~ i like the whole layout and the "parties"
Cons:
~ Posh takes 20%
~ As a seller, I get lowball offers and rude comments
~Posh ONLY publicly publishes 5 star reviews on the "love notes" (sellers reviews)
~ I've seen sellers who consistently con/have negative feedback who are still allowed to sell
~ if you buy an item you have 3 hours to cancel otherwise the seller has 7 days to ship before you are able to cancel. Similarly, if you place an offer on an item and the seller accepts, it's binding.
The neutral
~There is no private messaging BUT I like that the buyers sold posts are still active and visible so I can see if they have bad feedback,
Advice
~ Ask as many questions as possible before buying because posh will not accept returns that don't fit or if you don't like the item
~ Use common sense! If a seller or buyer gives you a bad vibe, stay away!

Poshmark does not follow their terms of service... AT ALL! Even after an item has been sold, and the payment has been released to the seller after 3 days, Poshmark representatives will bombard you with emails saying they returned the money to the buyer because she is unsatisfied. I received these emails 3 WEEKS after the purchase had been made. The buyer has now had time to wear the item around and do whatever she pleases with it. Poshmark said if I did not GIFT the payment through Paypal (using the friends & family option - which would cost me money to do), they wiould restrict my account within 30 days. Within a week, I receive another email from Poshmark saying they have restricted my account. Why? Because I used to money out of my account to buy an item so they could not take it from me. If they illegally charge my credit card, I will be personally suing them. I have over 400+ photos of this site allowing sellers to sell REPLICA fake items and doing nothing about it. Even when you report these listings, Poshmark does not do anything to delete the listing. They only care about getting money any way they can. Be prepared to get ripped off on this site by either buying or selling at one point or another.

I just recently sold my authentic Louis Vuitton Ellipse bag on Poshmark approximately a week ago. The buyer made it explicitly clear that they wanted the bag to go through posh concierge which is a service that will authenticate any designer item sold over $500. The buyer purchased the bag at $500. The bag was purchased on a Sunday which we all know USPS is closed. The following day was a federal holiday and of course USPS is closed. The buyer frantically sent me a message on Poshmark asking if I was shipping the bag out on Monday. Obviously I responded back stating that it was a federal holiday and the post office is closed and that I would be shipping out bright and early Tuesday morning. There was no response from the buyer but I figured that they understood and it was OK. The bag was delivered to Poshmark concierge and they successfully authenticated the bag and proceeded to ship out to the buyer. The bag was barely delivered when out of nowhere the buyer reported the bag as damaged. Posh Mark now opened a case against me and is in the process of reviewing the case. I do not understand why posh Mark is taking days upon days to decide this case. It is not like the bag didn't go through the concierge first. They clearly saw that the bag is not damaged and I am really really upset that both my bag and my money is being withheld from me. I am not new on posh Mark unlike the buyer who might I add only created his account a month ago. I have been buying and selling on posh Mark since January 2013 and for the last three years I have had nothing but stellar ratings from anyone that I have done business with. I have a 4.8 star rating. This is the sheer reason that I refuse to sell any of my high-end merchandise on Poshmark. There is zero customer service and they would rather entertain a brand new potential scammer then a veteran of their community. I am so beyond upset that I can't get an answer from anyone and I will stop at nothing to take posh Mark down by going to every social media outlet and the news and the authorities to make this happen. Clearly posh Mark does not read these horrendous ratings or they don't care but as a reputable business they need to excel at customer service and clearly that is something they are lacking. If in fact they ruled this case in the buyers favor and I get either a replica bag back or that it's severely damaged intentionally I promise that I will shut posh Mark down because that is something that cannot be tolerated.

I am a mature woman who shops and sells on many sites for fashion. I thought I would try something new... well, i found a pair of booties I wanted saying size 8. I ordered them and they fit like a 7! I could not get my foot in. You would expect to be able to return them immediately, they gave me the run around and said in an email I would be getting an "order review" for what! They just did not fit. The seller should have stated they ran small and narrow. To not be able to return anything on the site. Is a DO NOT BUY HERE!

Stay away, worst EVER!
January 26, 2016

What a horrible website and experience. Bought a sweater that was listed for sale, CC was charged, received confer email and thought all was good. Nope couple of hours later received a message from the seller saying "oops I already got rid of that and forgot it was still on Posh... Lolz" are you F***ing serious?! I tried contacting Poshmark since my cards now been charged for something that's never coming (and it was no small charge either) and so far have not received any type of response back. So I guess I have to wait 7 days for the item to not ship, then cancel the purchase thru their crappy site and then wait for my card to be refunded. This was my first and last experience with Poshmark, they SUCK! Probably why they don't have a working phone number... Hacks!

I purchased what was described as a Dooney & Bourke handbag. What I received was a very cheep knockoff and the seller would not refund my money.

A few Characteristics about this counterfeit Dooney & Bourke handbag:

The leather is very stiff with a dull finish.

The ampersand in the logo is closed.

The draw string is wrong.

Hardware is cheep yellow metal, D and B used solid brass hardware on the authentic version of this handbag.

The straps are riveted closed.

The size of the stitching is way too large and loose.

The stitching of the logo on the inside shows and is the wrong color.

The strap hardware and buckles are all wrong.

This seller has many items listed as high end "Designer" brands on Poshmark, so all I can say is BUYER BEWARE OF SELLER KARTRAV. In addition, Poshmark Perpetrated this fraud by not assisting me in getting a refund, they offer no buyer protection. I have seen many other counterfeits on this web site as well. If you or looking for a good web site to sell and buy, try Bonanza. Their fees are low and they offer protection to the buyer and also the seller. They also prohibit the sell of counterfeits and they are very serious about that policy.

After quitting a corporate job I thought I would sell my clothes and, well most anything of mine that would provide cash for luxury items. There is nothing I will not part with and offer unless it's family heirlooms.

I spent hours and hours and hours taking photos and turning my dining room into a Poshmark studio. I was very excited. Here's my experience...

Even though I had items with tags (current) styles, I was low-balled beyond belief. The worst part of Poshmark is that the "themed parties" host picks were so incredibly tacky that I found myself asking if this is the best, this is not for me. I tried selling designer bags, coats, and jeans for 50% to no avail. I was a social ninja also. On the site for hours and hours. Liking, sharing, and caring.

In summary, no quality buyers on this site. Waste of time!

Obsessed!
January 22, 2016

I've been poshing for about a year now and I love it! It's a great way to get name brand items for usually much less than retail price. I also like to sell bc I get more of a profit for my clothing than if I had taken to a consignment store,. One down side is the amount of commission posh takes (20%) kind of ridiculous! Also there are many annoying people who constantly want to "trade." Personally I don't, but I think this is how people get scammed, so just don't trade. Other than that, you are completely protected and allowed to get money back after 7 days if seller is shady and never ships.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to customer service and poshmark is excellent. Unlike Mercari, they have a LIVE TEAM OF HUMANS (not just computers) dealing with any issues you might have that try to help as much as possible! 9/10 times I'm completely satisfied with their solutions! I wish their % cut was a bit less, but I still make a good deal selling on PM and I've purchased great deal items off this app, as well. I'm OBSESSED...

Scammers galore
January 21, 2016

Wasnt that bad of a website when it first started over a year or more ago. Now, sellers are scamming people, selling what ever they want: used bras, used bathing suits, toys, mens clothing & childrens clothing, electronics, perfumes, You name it it is sold on there... even furniture... it's a shame because the honest sellers who do follow the rules are getting burned by the scammers. I'd say shop elsewhere..

I've been a posher for almost 4 years now and I was recently warned about a scammer and the scammer has been remaking accounts once she gets caught, I told her to get off poshmark if she wasn't going to sell professionally and after that comment my account was restricted and lost all of my sold listings and new listings and followers, basically deleted my account, while the scammer is still out there still scamming people. Poshmark doesn't care about anything as long as its making money which is truly sad that they aren't taking control of the scammers. This scammer is currently out there still doing the same and she owes thousands of money to people and has a warrant. She also steals pictures off of ebay. If you consider making one then please dont do paypal for a better price or google wallet. Do the payment through poshmark! Be aware! I wont ever be selling on posh or purchasing, posh just lost a loyal posher because they dont care about people being scammed.
