May 18, 2016

There customer support is so slow it takes ages for them to reply on you. They delayed my deposit due to security reason as I change my bank account for that reason they cause me almost 3weeks now but no attention yet!

Direct deposit?
May 16, 2016

I REQUESTED MY EARNINGS TO BE GIVEN TO ME THROUGH DIRECT DEPOSIT AND I WAITED 10 DAYS, NOTHING. I CONTACTED POSHMARK SUPPORT AND EIGHT DAYS LATER, NOTHING. I EARNED THIS MONEY THROUGH SELLING MY CLOTHES AND I WOULD LIKE TO ACTUALLY RECIEVE MY EARNINGS OR AT LEAST GET HELP FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

Poshmark is a terrible site and I won't be supporting it any longer. Buying with Poshmark is a huge risk, as many sellers never send their items and the site would rather support con artists and scammers than honest people. I recently reported a member and made a listing in my closet with proof about how they were selling fake "Bella B" items for $30+ when they were actually items that cost $8 at 599fashion.com and yet I was the one who was punished with members harassing me and reporting my listings for no reason. Furthermore, they gave me a "free shipping on your first order" offer but never even gave me the discount. I'm remaining on the site until my 2 pending orders ship (or don't ship) and then I'm deleting my account.

I have bought several designer brands for next to nothing. Everything so far has worked perfectly with the Sellers I have worked with. High quality merchandise, new condition, fast shipping. At this point, I would highly recommend!

Totally lacks support. I signed up online, was sent an offer of $10 off my first purchase. Never received discount. When I contacted Poshmark, was told offer was only good if signed up through app. Then why did they make the offer in the first place.

Ordered Coach bag, paid for Priority shipping. A week later, received wrong bag. Poshmark had me ship it to the correct buyer. I am not a seller, do not have access to a printer. Had to go to Kinkos and print the shipping label, then go to PO to ship. Two weeks later, I am still waiting for whoever received my purchase to ship it to me. This is the most screwed up shopping site and not worth the aggrevation it creates.

I buy around 5 items a week on poshmark and about 30% of thr time the seller never ships meanwhile your money has been put on hold until the allowed 7 days to ship takes effect. I just purchased a bottle of listed new in box perfume and it arrived empty and i mean not one spray. The glass was broken inside and you could hear it rattle inside the case it was enclosed in there was nothing leaked in the box so the seller knew it was empty. I contacted poshmark for a refund and because perfume is not allowed to be sold my refund was denied and my money was kept. The rules say no perfume, shampoo, ect however there are thousands of these kinds of listings so it is a roll of the dice. I feel the bottom line on poshmark is as with any company money simply money. Will i buy again. Yes however since this has happened about 5 times out of 30 i am losing my love of poshmark.

I purchased a DVF travel case and paid through PayPal. Four days later I received a note from seller apologizing for shipping delay, but it had gone out that evening. The status was not changed to shipped. Ten days later it had not arrived and I contacted customer service and asked them to contact the seller as there was no contact info on the sight. They said all I could do was leave a note (which I had already done) and they could not contact seller. My only option was to cancel the sale. How can they not be able to contact seller? This was my first and last purchase on Poshmark.

Poshmark is making killing at Buyer and Seller expense. They take 20% of your sale which means you must increase the price of the product from what you would sell it at to make any reasonable amount. Also the seller is responsible for discounts and extra shipping. I am just waiting for a competitor to make a similar platform which takes half the amount Poshmark does. 10% or a flat $2 per sale reasonable 20% for what?

I have purchase Ray Ban sunglasses. They arrived and are FAKE! I paid $70. For a $5 item. Poshmark is giving me the run around stating my pictures are not clear enough. The MADE IN CHINA PHOTO is extremely clear!, this should not have been an issue at all. There is no where that I can find to call. I have left comments with my complaints, and obviously they don't read the. I told them I was out of town and would take care of it on Monday. Then I received a notice on Sunday saying my time was running out. HORRID customer service.
Look for us honest people by reading our love notes. If you don't see 5 love notes... move on!

Buyer beware
April 28, 2016

I had been a buyer for awhile and made about 15 purchases. On two occasions, the seller shipped something which wasn't the size specified (one item was missing tags). Poshmark will never side with the buyer, only with the seller, even though their website states that the buyer must be happy before funds are released. I protested, sent pictures, and explained the problem but Poshmark's remark was all sales are final and why don't you resell it? I had to delete my account out of frustration.

My daughter wanted a shirt off this site and I ordered it and it took a month for the person to ship it when they took it out of my checking account the same day that I ordered it. It finally came today in the mail and it has two big stains on the front of it! Yeah talking about pissed off when it said "Great Condition" on the website! It come from Sarah Parker Peyer in St Simons island GA! Thanks for nothing! You don't need to be selling stuff on Poshmark for $14.99 when it has stains on it that are very noticeable!

I was selling a bling iPhone 6 casemate phone cover on here for $25. Yes, they retail at Best Buy for $80... It was in perfect condition I checked every surface of it and I packaged it up and mailed it out. I got an email from Poshmark saying the buyer had sent a claim because it was damaged. My $80 phone cover DAMAGED when I had sent it 2 days prior in PERFECT condition. I sent it with the front & back clasped together so I know the buyer broke it while trying to tear it apart because I know it's fragile. Poshmark tells me that they're sending my BROKEN phone cover back to me and refunding the buyer. I got nothing out of this deal. Someone didn't handle it appropriately and now I get a broken cover sent back to me?! I am so disappointed with Poshmark it's not even funny. Seriously avoid at all costs!

I'd give this zero stars, if I could! This website is very poorly run! No customer service phone number?! (Only email) Sellers list items, then become inactive, lazy, whatever the case may be. There are no consequences for doing such--so sellers just don't give crap and do the wrong thing! I was very excited to find a retired/hard to find bracelet, on this site. I Purchased it... and seller never shipped! Yes--I got a refund. But for sentimental reasons, I wanted the bracelet, not the refund! Then found a 2nd seller, with the same bracelet, although it was used. Because I cannot find it elsewhere, and I REALLY wanted it... I took the chance. Paid DOUBLE the retail value, for a USED bracelet... and the 2nd seller did not ship, same as the first seller! Completely unprofessional, unrealiable, and frustrating. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE! It's not worth the headache.

I've had a customer scam me by shipping the empty bag, posh's response? "We've determined by our house that item was a fake" that's their excuse to allow the scammer to scam me, this excuse should have a company shut down, it's like " oh just because item may or not be fake, it doesn't mean you should allow the buyer keep the item, you dip$#*!s,

Stay away from this app, as the company can pull out bs excuse "item is fake" when your item is indeed real or even if it is not, does not give them rights to have you be scammed.

Good & Bad
April 6, 2016

Poshmark is all about money. You have to be wary about what you are purchasing. I personally would never purchase from a seller without looking at reviews. Additionally, I don't purchase items with only one picture. I always ask questions before I buy. Simply put, I try to take all precautions possible. As a seller, I try my best to have an aesthetically pleasing shop as well as a budget pleasing shop. My pictures are not always great so if I notice an item not selling, I update pictures and/or information. You get out of it, what you put in. I like the social aspect of this site as well. It is a social, friendly platform as well as a shopping site. Decent site and great items.

This was my first time using the Poshmark site. I sold a MCM round handbag for $400.00. My earnings were $320.00. It was a vintage handbag that I had bought in an MCM store in the Carribean many many years ago. It was perfect condition, and looked brand new. The person that I sold to told Poshmark, that the handbag had stains and other problems, which they wanted her to send them pictures. She probably didn't think I had asked Poshmark to send me those pictures. I was in total shock. The pictures she forwarded to them did not look like my handbag at all. Her pictures showed that the hardware was old and leather worn out. My pictures the handbag looks like can be sold today in a department store. I would be careful dealing with mekaboop. I am awaiting delivery of my handbag, and hopefully it is the handbag that I sent and not another one. I would be very careful in using this site.

I've bought probably more than 50 items from Poshmark in the last 2 years. Some were fabulous steals, like the $800 Kenneth Cole leather jacket for $45, and the $200 Guess coat for $35. But my biggest complaint about the sellers is that they often put insufficient or even erroneous descriptions of items, forcing you to ask a hundred questions to find out condition, measurements, brand, etc. I was just sold four clothing items listed in "great" condition, and they were so used or defective that I have to THROW AWAY two of them. Another lady listed a skirt as "new with tags" and it was so used the elastic was CRUMBLING. Posh is generally good about partially refunding my money, but I'm just not sure if I want to invest the time and money it takes to find something really great on this site. Ebay gives me more for my buck and my time. They have a good feedback system that helps sellers be accountable for their merchandise. The sellers ship quickly, and if they "abandon" their closets, there is nothing for sale, because ebay listings expire after maximum 30 days. Whereas on Poshmark you can encounter tons of "dead" closets.
