Never ever again! Sellers misrepresentation on items no phone number to customer service support and good luck returning item for misleading you into buying! They sell fake defective merchandise and your stuck with the stuff
All my sales when through with 5 star rating. When it was time for my direct deposit they have held the funds and not doing the direct deposit. It almost a grand which I saved in my balance for christmas, but now it's so awful that this has happened to me.
Posh isn't worth the risk! I have been a reputable seller, my account was locked for exposing a scammer, that tried to scam me. I put a listing in my closet warning others, I didn't even list the scammer's name just posted her "stolen" pics proving they were fake! The buyer has no protection! And customer service is nonexistent! The only way to contact them is through email, I don't even think they read the emails! I messaged them twice regarding this, I got the same generic email twice from two different people and it took days to get that! Now they are withholding my direct deposit, I don't know if its due to my account being locked!? I also made a down payment on an item... I'm sure I am out that money for sure! My account has had perfect sales/purchases every time until this instance. I urge anyone that has been scammed by this company to notify the Federal Trade Commission. It's nice being able to read reviews but the only way to stop this fraudulent behavior is to notify the proper authorities! You can also notify you state's Attorney General and the BBB. In the end the risk isn't worth it!
Use eBay or mercari. Poshmark has terrible customer service and they take too much money for shipping and seller charges. I will never use this site again after too many negative incidences with employees and other sellers
Poshmark USED to be a safe, friendly marketplace.
Now, all you can expect are users who leave harassing comments all over listings. Did I mention that Poshmark doesn't have a comment removal option? It's almost as if they don't trust the truthful sellers enough to allow for such simplicity.
After 115k+ in sales, I am done with the constant harassment which is (supposedly) not tolerated, according to their policies. Incredibly sad, to see an app with such potential, slowly go down the drain and lose loyal users due to intentional cyber bullying.
I bought a BCBG snakeskin clutch and when I received it I couldn't believe how horrible, cheap looking was! I took it to a BCBG store that confirmed it was a fake. I sent multiple emails with pictures and Posh at the end claimed the purse was authentic and would not give me my money back. Horrible customer service, what company doesn't have a number where you can talk to a person? I would not recommend this site to ANYONE!
I frequently shop from poshmark.com, I've always had purchases arrive on the date expected. Unlike other people the sellers whom I've purchased from kept up with everything (i. E. shipment/follow-up/delivery). I've made many purchases, and very rarely from the same seller, haven't been ripped off yet! I only buy NWT and have never heard of better bargains! It's terrible that so many people write bad reviews, I have nothing to say about the website. But don't base your judgement if you haven't shopped there yet! It's worth it. And sellers frequently add gifts to purchases. It is anything but a waste of time!
A colossal waste of time. They don't screen sellers or follow up with them to ever see if items are still available. If you buy something the seller gets 7 days to ship. When they don't, you have the option to try and contact them and then, if they don't reply, you can finally cancel the order.
Meanwhile think of the time you wasted & the opportunities you didn't pursue because you thought you had a great purse or shoes or whatever on the way to your house. There is no way to rate sellers and let people know that "this person doesn't ever SELL anything - they just list things and then ignore all communication, tying your money up for at least 10 days."
I bought a special edition Burberry bag no longer available in stores. When the bag came, I followed their instructions of reporting a problem with the order within 3 days, in fact I sent them the report the day I received the bag. They use typical "How to Authenticate Burberry Bags" online articles (also available to EVERYONE), in which anyone can make a bag to pass these "tests." I brought the bag to a Burberry Retail Store to get their opinion and Poshmark told me that these employees are not to be trusted, as if they are. Through numerous emails as they do not have a phone number available, they agreed to examine the bag themselves. I challenged them as how they can authenticate via pictures without touching the merchandise. They still stuck to their ground even though the Burberry employees pointed out the areas that made the bag questionable. They claimed to have a third party authenticate the bag as genuine but when I read the certificate of authentication, they only sent photographs. At this point, I put a credit card alert and found out that they released the funds to the seller, even though we were technically in dispute. They knew I would question the authentication via photographs again and after many emails issued me a refund, which they claimed as a rarity. It can be done with persistence, folks.
My sister and I have purchased 5 pairs of Ugg boots from 2 different sellers on Poshmark as Christmas presents. Shortly after the payments cleared, the sellers blocked us. Unfortunately, we were unable to cancel the orders. They've even used phony tracking #'s to make it appear as though they were delivered. They've scammed so many people that the ads have been taken down. But, Poshmark still has our money and has not returned it.
I'm sharing what has happened to us in an attempt to prevent it from occurring again to other hard working families After working two jobs, it took almost 8 months to save that money for our Christmas funds.
Poshmark is a deceitful, manipulative business operated by thieves and liars. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I've been waiting 5 days for the seller to ship my item, when going back and forth making offers she responded within seconds, as soon as I bought the item I waited 3 days and still hasn't ship. Contacted her several times and no response and I have to wait 7 days to cancel. I have asked the seller to cancel my order with no response, this is my first and last time ordering from this site wish I had seen these reviews earlier, and the shipping is waaaay over price for such a small light item.
I give them NO STARS! I have also filed with Consumer Complaint and provided all the same photos and videos of this nightmare purchase. I received a call from an Unknown number who left no message. I then got a call from a number *******036
Pasadena, CA,, call it for yourself and see how unprofessional it is as a Customer Service. All I was able to do is "if this is Poshmark Customer Service Scam calling, PLEASE call me right back, I have my phone in my hand, my numbers is 559*******. I have yet to receive a call back. Still no call, no voicemail, no email, no written correspondence. They will continue to scam and ripoff consumers unless you fight back. There are sellers who profit from this scam as well and should be ashamed of themselves. DON'T USE POSHMARK! Poshmark lied to BBB and said they had contacted me. They have NEVER contacted me with a call, email, voicemail or letter. This shows the extent they will go to not act in good faith. I did everything required of me. I responded that item was not as described as soon as I got it. I sent pictures, I called the only number I could find and left very specific messages, as you only get a voicemail, you don't get to speak to anyone. I feel the, in my instance, that Poshmark and the seller steal money from good faith customers. They need to be held accountable and they need to be shutdown. They blamed me and said I was not entitled to a return shipping label, nor a refund. All those impacted by bad faith sales and advertising need to stand up and fight Poshmark. They are making a great deal of money by stealing from the consumer.
I ordered two pair of boots for my daughters. The one buyer never shipped the one pair of boots and the other one sent a empty envelope to a local business in my town with my tracking # making it look like the item had been delivered to me. Poshmark debited my account immediately for both orders and now I'm having trouble getting a refund. I'd advise buying from Ebay not Poshmark.
I joined this sight and within a couple days I purchased from 3 different sellers. I bought some boots for $45 and the arrived and were the wrong size, covered in mud, and the soles were worn and the seller said they were worn a couple of times. I informed the seller politely my concerns and she blocked me from contacting her. Customer service took a couple days to get back to me and then never addressed my concerns. I will be canceling my entire account after I get my refund and my other item that seems to be lost. The sellers don't follow the rules and guidelines and they just don't care. Save yourself the trouble and stick to eBay.
I purchased many items and sellers just cancel you. Serendipity chic sold me 3 items and then just cancelled after I made offer and she accepted it. I am tired of sellers doing this or not shipping. Poshmark lets these people stay on there. I sold something and it was a set up and then someone gave me their email to do business off posh. Poshmark let them stay on. The workers at poshmark and owners are money hungry. You can even speak to someone.
I purchased number of things on poshmark, I have hardly found anything useful, except for perfume. Dresses and shoes have number of issues from size, quality, and condition. What I found was the lack of balance between buyer and seller as the seller enjoys more incentives than the buyer. What a waste of time being there, deleted the app.
I'm surprised by all the negative reviews. Either I have been very lucky or only encountered good people. I've bought and sold items and I've never not received payment for items I've sold. I've also always received the items I ordered. I only send and receive payments through Poshmark. I don't do trades and I don't use Paypal. I follow the Poshmark rules and have had a great experience.
I bought many shoes on Poshmark. Recently the shoe I purchased was size 6 but still very small. I told them to bring it back to the seller. Their response was so naggy. They said that I should have discussed the issue with the seller first. How do I know that the model of that size 6 qas small? I always bought size 6 shoe. I emailed them 4 the 2nd tine that I need yo send it back. Then their answe made me feel furious.,,,,,,,, once u emailed us, u don't have 2 email us again. We may not handel ur case...
Till I find another app that does the same as poshmark I will stay.
THEY ARE GREEDY AND HORRIBLE.
Waited 10 days for seller to send my purchase or even acknowledge me. Sent a request to customer service who contacted me with a generic cancel if you wish. I stated how looking at other purchases from said seller who is consistently bad and no comment or action from customer service only for me to cancel my purchase. What! If I didn't find some cute things I would NEVER shop here! Oh and seller never even apologized!
I made a purchase, seller didn't ship for 10 days. I complained to Postmark and they told me to be patient. I sold an item and on the 4th day I shipped it. On day 5 they told me to cancel shipment because buyer cancelled. Are you kidding me? Such a rip off. I cancelled all my listings.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
