Fraud
March 1, 2017

Someone made a fraudulent purchase from my account. Beware. How would they know your password unless it is coming from inside Poshmark. Someone bought a 500.00 Apple Watch and changed the address it was sent to. I cancelled my account and will not use them anymore.

Returning an order
March 1, 2017

The seller has up to 7 days to respond. Nikkiwilliams1, seller, sent it several weeks later and the size was not what she advertises. When I got poshmark involved, they sent a return label when I was on vacation (after I told them my vacation dates) and stated I need to send it back within 48 hours. Huh? They don't listen to your emails. I sent several on both of my email accounts.

I started being a "Posher" about a month ago, in the beginning everything was good, I bought really nice things, and sellers were really kind and professional, but last week, 2/24/17, I was looking to my bank account statement when I realized that Poshmark had make a funds transaction without my consent in the amount of $106.49! Supposedly it was the payment for an item that I did not received until this week! Now the seller is waiting for me to accept the order, so the funds can be released to her account, and I know that does mater if I do not accept the order, poshmark's people is gonna to take my money, TWICE! So I will be paying $213
In the end! I tried to call them, sent an email, but so far no answer!
I am cancelling my account with them and going tomorrow to my bank to cancel my debit card, and all the payments that Poshmark would try to process!
Stay away from them!

Shipping is a rip off
February 27, 2017

This website charges you almost $7 when you purchase something even if it is a 3 oz item. The seller is not getting the difference. THE COMPANY KEEPS IT! I have tried to encourage some of these sellers to avoid fees and sale on groups that are on Facebook. It is very popular now. U still use paypal just like poshmark. They also allow sellers to take forever in shipping. If you need something in a hurry, to damn bad. You cant contact sellers/each other except for on the public comment section. U have to wait 7 damn days to cancel something if it has not been shipped. 7 DAYS! U cant reach anyone and you cant report your issue in a specific manner. They have already ready issues that you select that then has a stupid auto response.

So far? Suspicious
February 25, 2017

Purchased a pair of jeans, received them about 3 days after purchase. Very happy with them and seller. The day after receiving jeans, i tried to log into my account, and get a message that my account is frozen and i am locked out due to "suspicious" activity of my IP address. Then it says that this usually happens when there is too much activity of in and out of an account. What? It said that if they are wrong, please contact tech support. How do you do that when you are locked out of your account!? I figured out a way, and now supposedly have to wait up to 3 business days for a response! So that means i cannot leave feedback, cannot let them know we are happy with purchase, nothing! I am hoping that the seller understand and receives her money. My next try is to uninstall/install app. Leave feedback and then delete account and app from phone! I am done, its just a scam and there are too many ways for ppl to be ripped off, both buyers and sellers.

They are extremely unresponsive if you encounter issues and if you are able to get a response from them, they will refuse to refund you and will only give you other options that allow them to keep their money. Horrible service. The customer service they employ are negligent, straight ignorant and dull minded. The shipping cost they charge you for every single item you purchase is just icing ok the cake. Would never recommend to anyone.

Terrible.
February 23, 2017

Buying - They rip you off on shipping, charging you a flat rate of $6.49, no matter if items are less than 13oz & clearly ship First Class for under $2. FULL OF INIACTIVE/UNAVAILABLE ITEMS. They do not moderate their listings so Poshmark is FULL of items from sellers who are inactive, have not been active for months or even years, & do not respond to questions or comments. When you do purchase an item & it turns out to be such a seller, they hold your money for a week before finally refunding it & cancelling the purchase. Then they have the AUDACITY to mark the item as a successful sale publicly & allow the listing to continue to be visible/searchable, falsely inflating their listings & giving the appearance of high rates of successful sales.
Selling - They do not appear to offer a seller the option to charge actual shipping, do not offer high-res photos or enlargeable photos. They charge a whopping 20% of your sale (even ebay & Mercari only take 10%)
And if all that wasn't enough the App bombards your phone with a constant barrage of totally stupid & useless notifications,(stupid one-liners like "lattes are a girls best friend") for which there is no way of turning off.

I have been selling on other sites since 2006. I have dealt with many losers but Poshmark takes the cake. I don't believe they even read your questions and 20% commission is very high for terrible service. I'm glad I saved all my emails.

I've been shopping poshmark since they first opened and now they're too big for their britches they do not back up their loyal and great clients! I recently bought an item from a seller who indicated the item would fit a small or medium which I am. I then requested a return. After a week of waiting, they told me I should have asked for the measurements, lol! Then why indicating small or medium even matter then!?! I'm supposed to be blamed for the sellers misrepresentation? Well I will never buy anything from that crap site again! Oh btw that site has gone to crap anyways people love selling they're torn garbage there anyways

DO NOT BUY HERE
February 22, 2017

I ordered an item back on January 30th. The seller sent me the wrong item. I immediately started a claim and finally got the ok to mail the item back. I shipped the item on February 10th and here it is 12 days later (using 1-3 day shipping), and the package is lost. I have emailed poshmark over a week ago with no response. I have called the post office that the item is at with no luck. I have also messaged the seller a few times in the comments of the item and she will not cooperate. I am currently out $95 with no idea what to do. I will not be buying from the site again, and if I don't hear something within a couple days I will be reporting them to my credit card company!

Recently I sent a priority box to my aunt in Virginia, Box weight almost 5lbs.The cost on my own was almost $19. I know most don't buy that much from 1 seller but with priority shipping, you gain many things/ insurance, tracking, sent and received notices, and faster shipping. This is the only way to keep track of items being sent and received, if sent with cheap shipping how would anyone know if the item/items they bought were really shipped and how would they know if ever received by buyer, not doing the priority is rather scary to me with so many scams/scammers out there. I would rather pay the extra. 54 cents they raised the fee to, and have a bit more piece of mind, rather than a seller claiming they sent out items, without having any way to prove they did. Or having a buyer say well if it was sent I never received it. Even if they really did.

Bought a 6 item bundle. It shipped in good time but a necklace and a pair of Cole Haan shoes were missing! No way to contact the seller and Poshmark only offered $15 "Poshcredits"! What? I wanted the shoes for my son not credits I had to spend with them! Would be easy for them to contact the seller and tell them the error and to send my necklace and shoes; which by the way were marked as SOLD on the sellers page because I had paid for them. I never approved the money transfer after I received the shipment and Poshmark went ahead and transferred my funds to the seller before they even responded to my notification to them of missing items! This is a terrible way to run an online business. I have been selling online for 7 years and Poshmark falls way below the bar.

Never again
February 21, 2017

I purchased A pair of jeans that were identical to a pair I already owned. They were advertised as being a 4 long, which is exactly what I wanted. However the seller neglected to mention that she cut off about 3 inches at the bottom! When I complained I was simply offered a 15.00 credit towards my next purchase (there won't be one) I posted a review which of course I see is nowhere to be found.

I have been selling with poshmark for over a year. I absolutely love this site and it makes me sad that so many people are having problems. I had one instance where an item was never received due to the post office and postmark paid both me and gave the buyer their money back. My friends and family use this app to buy designer products and have never faced any problems. I do agree that their prices for shipping are quite outrageous now. I have seen a decrease in selling due to these prices.

This site has some great items listed by the sellers. That being said, it takes 20% of your sale. There are other sites that take less of a percentage and still have excellent items for sale. What's more, is that once you sell an item, they sometimes take up to 21 days to pay you. On other sites you get paid within four days. Additionally, this site has absolutely no customer service. The best You can expect is to send an email and hope that maybe someday in the future they will respond. I have some items appear for sale but I will be removing them to other sites soon.

Sold a perfect condition running jacket with absolutely no flaws. Buyer then left me negative feedback saying I sold it to her with an undisclosed "broken zipper". I don't sell things in poor condition. I have 100% positive feedback going on 18 yrs on eBay so that should speak for itself. Poshmark seems to have sketchy buyers and leaves the seller with no recourse in this kind of situation. I'll never sell there again. Do yourself a favour folks. Stick to eBay where there's some seller protection too.

No communication, no one to talk to. "posh" mark should change its name to "POS"mark due to the way they treat the sellers that put 20% profit of their sales into their pocket. Their is no loyalty to sellers that work their tails off listing merchandise and then having the entire collection deleted and being banned from selling permanently, because this HORRID company with ludicrous policies only stands behind the buyer, no matter what lies they tell. Sell on ETSY and EBAY. Two great companies that are fair to both sides and YOU set the price without dealing with low ballers, that in the end, cause you to have your account revoked when they lie about the merchandise they received. STEER CLEAR OF P-O-S Mark -_-
