I purchased a $600 Movado watch. I thought I would be safe since there was a concierge service. That was a joke. The watch was not only fake but it was damaged as well. When I tried to get my money back they have been unresponsive. There is no phone number. The only way to contact them is through e-mail. Tell all your girlfriends and sisters, Poshmark is a joke and Fraud.

Omg! Horrible Customer Service. I've tried for over a week to messaged them about something URGENT and they never responded. I sent them multiple emails and found their phone number on Google, but of course when you call it's a recording saying "they don't offer customer service support via phone and to email them." It should have said they don't offer customer service at all! I also contacted them on Facebook since i notice they were active and they deleted my comments. I messaged them on instagram as well and nothing. They don't care at all to help you. I have also recruited many friends and helped their business grow and they can't even provide me with help?! I got f***** over by them very badly. I'm so upset and angry.

So I sold a pair of pants the buyer then made a claim that she thought it was 100 percent leather Poshmark sided with her but then she kept the pants for over a month I kept on emailing them about it but got no where then she finally sent them back which you could tell she used them it had a small tear in the back of the leg and they also smelled like bad feminine odor on top of that so I reported it but again got nothing to I shut down my account never again will I ever do business with them again

Update my recent review - upped from 1 star to 3 stars with possibility to rise higher in future!

I wrote a scathing review calling their financial transaction process sketchy last week because one of my first purchases was flagged. They erroneously told me it was a credit flag and they wanted to verify my account and identity which made no sense given my choice to pay with Paypal. My item was cancelled. After I followed up with them several times to express my extreme irritation and unwillingness to give unnecessary personal or financial info, I received great follow up from them.

My purchase was flagged for a different reason - it is illegal to ship the animal skin item I ordered to CA but not other states. I didn't know that and their system does not yet tell you that's the reason. It's in everyone's best interest not to illegally ship items where larger fines can be imposed so, in a way, I'm glad something in their system flagged that.

I purshased a $200.00 handbag from poshmark and it had a hole in the liner that was not in the description. It also is smaller than the description. I contacted them NUMBERUS times. They we mailed me back saying they would contact in 48 hours and never did. After a 6 weeks still have this purse and no contact. I called left a message too and no return call. Now I am stuck with a 200.00 handbag with a hole and the purse is too small! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM POSHMARK!

I purchased a BCBG black leather tote for my mother. The item is used but according to the description, like new and hardly used. What I got was a tote that is devoid of structure which was never alluded to in the article. The white interior of the purse had black stains resembling the marks left by an exploding pen. I contacted customer service, requesting a refund and provided photos of the exterior and interior. I received a decision advising me a refund would not be granted but granting me a $5.00 credit towards future purchases. The item was not properly described which makes its sale, misrepresentation. Evidently, Poshmark's not so elite braintrust doesnt understand what constitutes a positive customer service experience & they're just sufficiently deluded to think that after purchasing an item that was misrepresented and refusing its return, would prompt any person to do business with them again, DON'T BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS unless you want to risk losing money.

Bought a pair of "authentic Alexis Bittar" earrings. Completely fake. They sided with the seller and won't give me a refund.

There is no customer service phone number and the generic emails are terrible.

I have escalated to paypal and if that does not work, will escalate to BBB. Then to my credit card company!

Stay AWAY!

Ebay and Etsy are much better sites for consumers.

Some of the bags are being sold for more than list price on LV website. Not sure why. Why would l buy a used Speedy for more than a new one? The bags have been touched by others so better to get a new one from LV if you are going to pay the same for a new one or even more! Please people, do your research.

FAKES BEWARE: I was just taken for $276 for a fake Miu Miu handbag and was told the item was in good condition. Got the bag its in terrible condition. Its not even real leather! Hardware cheap, flimsy, dull and there's a gold coating on the hardware! Opened claim with Poshmark, sent pics. Also a long descriptive detailed essay noting 8 issues with this bag relating to why it could not be authenticated. 4 days later got email from Poshmark "sorry unable to return" which mean no refund! Almost $300 gone! I paid w/Paypal and I have an escalated case open with them I hope they don't fail me... wwhhaaaa. :( You'd think I'd learn because I ALSO had bought Uggs on here that too were fakes but PM gave me back my money. So there! Buyer BEWARE!

I sell and most of the time the buyers try to bully and low ball on everything. Poshmark itself takes a huge cut. It isn't really worth selling on this app to put up with the buyers and Posh. I also sell on Ebay which is a lot better. I also perfer to buy off of Ebay if I buy. Posh has "boutique" items that are the cheapest and worst quality. I would be embarrassed to sell those items.

HARASSMENT!
March 30, 2017

Once upon a time I fully LOVED this app until... so the other day there was a bullying posher that harassed posher after posher for what they chose to price their items as and accused some of them for selling counterfeit items when she herself was selling FAKE LV BAGS! I tried to educate her and defend the other poshers when things went left. I reported her to posh and sent them an email advising them of her harassment. Thankfully she was DELETED by posh. But why DID I GET DELETED TOO? Posh sends an email saying I was harassing as well when I Wasn't! They decided to delete my account for backing them in their policies and standing up to a bully when nobody else WOULD! I had many sales and provided excellent service to my poshers each and every time! I'm disappointed in their service to delete a reputable posher. Not only that but another posher JUMPED IN and terrorized my sister! Her account is still up and she sells fake bags and used bras! My sister was deleted also. WHAT A JOKE! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE TO USE THIS APP EVER!

I've been a buyer on poshmark for years and I just recently started selling. Havent had issues with either. I would consider myself a more high end young closet, with brands like Nastygal, free people, for love and lemons, Missguided, topshop, and so on. If you are trying to sell things like lularoe or Michael kors or that one tee shirt you bought 3 years ago for $10, you're really not going to sell much or make much. 20% is a pretty hefty fee, but I'm not like most poshers selling items under $20. I can make 20% less and be okay because my margins are good. If you're going to shop in posh, you really do need to learn the rules and guidelines. All the people complaining that it didn't fit and you couldn't return... Y'all need to read. DIRECTLY above the like, comment, and share bar there literally is a link to the buyer protection and return policy. Also, for those getting upset over someone not shipping an item when they haven't been on poshmark for 3 years... What's your logic? You can see the last time someone logged on. Or if you don't want to do that you could literally comment "hey is this still available" and if they respond THEN purchase. Half the reviews I see on here are just people that didn't do their due diligence and just expected things. I've begun selling at least 1-3 items a week for the past say 3 months and I'm just about at 1k in sales. You CAN do it. It takes time and effort and strategic actions, but it will produce results. I made my first purchase on poshmark 2 weeks ago. It was dress advertised "no flaws". When I received the dress I was disappointed as the elastic was over stretched which made the dress ill fitting. After paying over $50. With shipping one would expect a decent item. I complaint and waited 2 weeks for a too bad no refund response from company. Ebay is so much better. Do not recommend this site.

Poshmark is a scam
March 28, 2017

I bought a pare of Lysse Leggings on the site that I thought was a good deal. When I opened the packaged the pants weren't even leggings and was a brand I had never heard of. They were ugly AF and looked nothing like what I ordered. The return process is miserable. You'd think Poshmark would give you the money back immediately, but you have to wait DAYS for the review process.

I bought a purse from a seller on poshmark.com. The seller stated on the ad the purse used only once and practically new, so I offered a price according for this 'new bag'. Right after I receive the package and I saw there's a large area of leather on the handle rubbed off on the surface, and there some white scuff on it as well. So I report the item not as described immediately. After filed the case, one week past I haven't heard anything from them, besides the seller was very nice told me do not worry and she will work with me and willing to accept the return. But both seller and I didn't hear anything back from poshmark after a whole week, finally I had to contact my credit card company and asked for help. It's about right after my credit card company contact them, they send me an email and offer $200 credit on their website, I refused. And I responded told them I just want my money back, and seller have no problem to take the returns. after a few hours I received another email from them, they said they will not issue a refund to me, instead they gave me $250 credit on their website and tell me to keep the bag no return. I don't understand why are they being so hard on the buyer even though the seller is willing to take the return. They don't want to give up their 20% commission on this $2200 Purse. That is like rob my hard earned money, totally unacceptable. Hopefully my credit card company will help me get my money back as soon as they can. And I want everyone know do not buy anything on there unless you don't care will you receive.

I sold a bundle of clothes. And thank the lord nothing expensive was in it. But she returned it(which is totally fine) and I get it back and she has put in different clothes and then precedes to call me a liar. I let poshmark now and send lots and lots of pictures. And I got a notification today saying she gets all her money returned. And she told the truth. So now I'm stuck with ugly clothes that aren't even mine. I love poshmark. But I don't love selling stuff just because there's a lot of fraud and poshmark takes the buyers side every single time.

Cheapos!
March 26, 2017

Tons of cheap ladies on there. As an occasional buyer, there are tons of options and variety of items. But if I really like something I would get it. I wouldn't insult sellers when they have a price set already and I make a very low offer. Now I am a seller as well and I am very proud of the items I have since most of them are the name brand luxury rare bags and shoes. It bugs me how some of these peasants try to go low thinking I would take the offer. Honestly I sell mostly on Tradesy and EBay but Just trying out Poshmark. Sometimes I feel like there are more tweens and scammers than legit buyers. Lol

Best option out there
March 26, 2017

Overall poshmark is the best resale option out there. It gets a little annoying with lowballers, but its overall better than the other apps. I haven't bought anything, and so far I haven't had any claims either, and that is with about 80 sales. Even if 1 or 2% of sales would become a problem, I wouldn't mind. I take a video with my gopro of myself boxing it up and use some sort of identifier to show it was the same package that hasn't been tampered with (ex write with a marker all over packaging tape). When I get to the post office I turn the gopro back on, show it is the exact same package, and keep it on as I drop it off. That way, if there are ever any claims, I have video proof of EXACTLY what I sent. The fees are high, but if anythign is lost in the mail, they will refund the buyer and pay the seller. They deal with all the mail claims. Customer serivice takes a while to get back (I've had a couple questions before) but at least they aren't rude like mercari. Be careful when buying expensive things, but overall its good. Also fund are released 3 days after the package was delivered automatically and you can transfer to your bank account at any time (mercari only transfers on mondays and if you balance is above a certain amount)

I placed 3 orders with 3 different sellers. Each listing was described as like new and cost over $100.00. Order 1: ripped across back shoulders seam, visible only when pulled open while being worn - UNWEARABLE. Order 2: Looked good in photos but arrived badly wrinkled beneath arms, breast and at the waist - obviously worn and sweated in for hours NEEDED FUMIGATING. And was not 'like new'. Order 3: Never arrived - post office said it was delivered but it must have gone to the wrong address. Because Post Office said it had been dropped off, Posh Mark says this is my problem. Post Office insists it was delivered - but it wasn't. I work from home and talk to me mail carrier almost every day - she did NOT deliver it. TOTAL LOSS: $345.00 never again I'M DELETING MY POSH MARK ACCOUNT

Not happy
March 24, 2017

I ordered a purse the look awesome and I was very excited to get it when I received it I was so disappointed it was not shinny and worn very much I followed all the direction to return it but Poshmark made the decision not to return it for me I took it to a second hand store and they wouldn't even buy it so I'm out $65.00 I think that is really sad that they don't back what is on their site I would caution everyone one to be careful on that site
