After receiving an order that was marked as new, with holes and shrunken, I put in a formal return notice so that I could get my money back on the item. The company claimed that they didn't get the review and kept my money. They then accused me of lying about the order.
They take a hell of a cut of the money you make from selling on posh. I had sent them multiple referrals and sold numerous expensive items on the app.
Crooks! I will be finding an alternate app to buy and sell my items.
HERE IS THE POSHMARK SELLER AND HER LISTING: gabbyb1204
Updated Aug 08 01:13PM Coach Nomad bag with long strap Coach $45 $598
(My name on Poshmark is eastsidedetroit... please read my correspondence to this seller... and her answers to me on this listing...)
I received my refund from Poshmark today... after finding out when I went to check on shipping status that seller had "cancelled" my order! I went into the listing to leave my experience and warn others... and when I tried to post my "review"... found that the seller had blocked me!
So came here to tell my experience with this seller... and again... TO WARN OTHERS!
Here is what I tried to write about this transaction and seller: "BAD SELLER... OUTRIGHT LIED TO ME... SAID ITEM WAS SHIPPED... NO TRACKING NUMBER LEFT... AND IT WAS NEVER SHIPPED. ORDERED ON AUGUST 8TH... TOOK UNTIL AUGUST 22ND FOR THE LIE TO BE UNCOVERED... AND TO RECEIVE MY REFUND FROM POSHMARK. WHEN TRIED TO LEAVE MORE COMMUNICATION UNDER MY NAME ON LISTING FOUND OUT THAT SELLER HAD BLOCKED ME! BEWARE OF THIS PERSON... AND ONLY BUY FROM HER AT YOUR OWN RISK! HOPE NO ONE ELSE IS TREATED LIKE I WAS BY THIS HORRIBLE SELLER!
Ordered a bag at the beginning of August, it is now the 21st and still have not received, so much for fast service if you have an event planned etc. I went into Posh today and it clearly states I do not have any purchases? Therefore, went into my Paypal and it was taken out of my account on the day of purchase, doesn't say what the item was, nor does it have a tracking number and of course you cannot speak to anyone on the phone. Worst online shopping experience. If I do not receive soon I will report to my bank and then to the BBB and Consumers Credit. I am thinking SCAM? May the attorney general can assist many of us.
Poshmark website claims they have professionals who authenticate the products advertised on their website. I reported a poorly worded ad that included: "... no authentic". And advised most of us (buyers) are aware Vuitton, MCM, etc. DOES NOT USE PLASTIC ON THE HANDBAG STRAPS.
I've heard counterfeit complaints before but I was under the false impression that Postmark was reputable... they are not! Then I requested they remove my email address from their marketing.
*******@tampabay.rr.com
I wanted my shoes I ordered will never buy any thing again what kind of company r u running iàm very upset
I ordered a backpack. The seller shipped it 2 days later. The website interceded and canceled the order without telling me, returning the item to the seller who no longer had it WEEKS later when I finally found out what had occurred. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON THIS SITE. Terrible!
First and last purchase from Poshmark. Purchased item from this seller kelleykellz and this person failed to disclose the complete item description. Upon receiving the item; individual had the audacity to say I should have asked for better description. No what they should have done is provided a complete and accurate description of the item. Therefore, not trustworthy or integrity. Poshmark was very helpful to resolve issue but I will not purchase anything else.
I sold something on Poshmark but by mistake sent the buyer a $400 romper instead of the $20 vest she bought (made a human error when shipping a bunch of stuff).
The buyer opened a case saying it was the wrong item and tried to return it. Poshmark's operating procedure is to email the buyer a return label to print out. The buyer is HANDICAPPED and doesn't have a printer so she was unable to do this. Instead of mailing her a label or helping her out, they told her they couldn't help her. And they LIED to me saying she was being uncooperative.
There is NO reason Poshmark couldn't have simply printed the label themselves and mailed it to her. Or at least TOLD me what was going on.
Instead they lied to me saying she was being unresponsive, and ignored the pleas for help from a HANDICAPPED lady. Considering Posh has taken a cool EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY dollars from me in fees in the last year alone, they could have helped out.
Poshmark is PURE BULL$#*!. They do not protect you AT ALL. Customer service, my $#*!.
I bought a MAC foundation from posh from a popular boutique *******@elizavesta that had excellent reviews, and was totally scammed. I received my package in the mail the same day I got another faulty item from this faulty site and was fooled by the nice packaging, nice letter, impressive business card, etc. By the time I opened the product itself after I noticed the pump wasn't working I got a 'perfumy' scent and gave it the benefit of the doubt by applying into my face and noticed that it was't even matte! I quickly let posh know and they never contacted me, I sent the company an email and they didn't contact me, thus sent them another notification with pictures comparing an authentic product bought from Sephora to the product I received showing the clear difference in tone, thickness of letters on the bottle, etc and have never been contacted for a refund! I looked through the packaging again and realized this lady sells all kinds of likely fake products in an actual store thus she probably composed the product herself and was driven to believe her line was just as good as MAC which is obviously untrue since I'm writing this review because I was ultimately highly displeased.
They make it impossible for you to return. I ordered 12 items at the same time, one I never received. Most were in bad condition and I have no way to return them. They don't even have a customer service phone number.
First how I found this is because I wanted to know what was wrong with posh or was something reported about their systems going down or what. I have had a lot of sales lately even though thats good I still had a feeling. These people got some good stuff wah cheap I had a sale. But I started to notice some were preassuring me for lowball offers that I wouldn't except. Not to mentioned after being bumbarded by the follow me game that sounded childish I didn't want to be involved in every now and then someond eould appear and so call give me advice in a bossy way. Something strange the other day someone messaged me after I listed an item and asked me to email them, I didn't how ever I left them a message on the item and their message deleted in thin air like it wasn't there. So today I get a notice that my funds are in, when I went to get them nothing was there so that brings me back to WFT! I see everyone complaining about my experiences oh yea and one lady kept taging herself on my item and when I did it to hers see wantef to know what the he! I did it for. Whom are these people. I'm starting to believe these posh developers are behind this. I will let it be known about my future experience.
I could tell by the photos alone that the shoes were counterfeit. IF they want to become such a site, known for selling counterfeit items then they should continue with things as they are. Could brands eventually sue them for such activity? Or do they pass the blame on to the person they helped to facilitate the sale of counterfeit goods? I was not happy with a lot of the items I searched for on there.
I bought what was supposed to be mint condition oakley glasses. They came and they were absolutely trash. Jaf1647 is the seller. Beware of him. Posh has yet to reslove its been a week. Very unhappy
I ordered several things that came as pictured and as described, the final item i got was sized xxl but really was size of a medium at best. I purposely don't buy outside the U.S. do to ridiculous sizing issues. I filed s claim it was denied I'm stuck with a shirt I can't wear. Beware sellers don't have to disclose they are selling you cheap small crap from other countries.
There are so many scammers out there that purchase your item then destroy it and Poshmark sides with them and refunds there money. Poshmark needs to stand up for there sellers. You can sell a brand new pair of shoes or bag they wear it and destroy it then request a return after a week and Posh gives them a refund and it doesn't matter that you have photos and receipts they still let the buyer return the damaged item for a refund. Crazy. Closing my account until they change there policy.
I bought a purse from the Poshmark site listed as a "Michael Kors" purse.
When I received it I could tell right away it was counterfeit & contacted seller, she stated it was in the description she wasn't sure if the purse was authentic. I never would have spent $$ if that was the case! I sent pictures to file for a return & have been denied, I clearly showed the purse was a knockoff! At least on eBay there's a Customer Service # where you can actually talk to a person, not like Poshmark going through emails. I'm sure there are honest sellers on Poshmark, but never again for me, I don't have $$ to waste!
I recently purchased an item off of Poshmark- when I received it, the item was not as described. Filed for a return and even provided photos & screenshots of what I thought I was purchasing vs what I received. Poshmark denied my return, and even messaged back to say that I should have checked with the seller first before buying. Um, what's the point of having a listing describing the item if I need to ask the seller questions first? And why have a return policy if you're going to deny people a return, even when they meet the criteria? Never going to use again, would not recommend.
Ordered an item that ended up being a counterfeit or sized incorrectly. Was very familiar with the sizing if this particular brand and size. No exchange or refund granted and no other resolution offered. Extremely bad customer service. My first and last time shopping on this site.
The idea of the website is fun, but the end result is a waste of time. The selling fees are ludicrous. The designer bags are overpriced, if I'm going to spend the kind of money these sellers are looking for I'll stick with Fashionphile or eBay and get a better deal. Any decent clothing is way over priced, again I've done 100x better on eBay. Most of the closets I've looked through are filled with mediocre crap I'd just throw away or donate. I honestly don't understand how anyone sells anything on there. All people wanna do is trade with you, or low ball you. I currently have a few items posted. I'm probably gonna just remove my items from the website at the end of this week. There seems to be a lot of scammers on Poshmark and little to no moderators, which makes me nervous. It seems extremely easy for a scammer to get away with anything on there, on both the selling or buying side.
Plz don't use Poshmark, it's worst company ever! They don't stand behind consumers,
I ordered jeans for my husband in size 36 by MEK, when it arrived I was in shock-wrong style and wrong size! I sent multiple emails to Poshmark asking for return but it was unsuccessful! I being told if I don't like it then sell it on my own to whom ever...
Unbelievable! Total BS!
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
