Poshmark does not give you the filters or tools to weed out or prevent crap offers and when you get so mad having to waste your time reading the crap offers you can't help but leave a snide comment to the person telling them you have blocked them from making more crap offers, the crap person reports you for your snide comment and poshmark bans you.because you were sassy. Poshmark is a crap platform. You need to refresh each listing "share" to keep it at the top of the search. Purely barbaric. Oh, and to have your account reinstated, you have to write a letter of apology like a little kid. Dont bother with poshmark unless you have something very very popular to sell that you get for almost free. PS, their new spokesperson guy looks like he steals the merchandise he is selling for drug money. Look at his druggie eyes. PS, I am a 4 year member with 10k sales. The crap person that reported me is a brand new underaged user with no listings or purchase history.
I sold supreme hoodie buyer complained it's not sz 14 but sz 4.Poshmark cancel item and fail have buyer return posh is thief treats seller like garbage I'm go court force payment.minus zero posh thief disgusting lower and lower to hell
Particulsr items sell on posh. Most time low ball items sell if at all. Ridiculous last week buyer wanna be asked for refucrd ship 4.99 and $7 price. Lol so she wants it free i said. Owner fails use cookies or best software facilitate sales. I switchd to others because pish failure. Click clicm share ridiculous. See all clisets hghpriices no sales. Posh last choice. Not free wareehouse. How it made stock mkt. Dont know
I ordered a pair of 110.$ shoes on poshmark, I followed the size guide beside the shoes. The wrong size was sent to me. I asked for the correct size and was denied! They showed me a differnt size guide than the one that is STILL listed online and insisted I was wrong. A simple google search and anyone could find that I was correct. Horrible service. One star is too many...
Buyer beware. Poshmark depends on free employment by users to report replica items and does not remove items reported. Inexperienced buyers may end up with replica items unbeknownst to them as pm only offers authentication for items purchased over $700. The fake Chanel's and Hermes are plentiful and I don't know how they are getting away with this.
Pm takes a whopping 20% off each sale which is outrageous. You have to inflate all the prices to cover those costs but then nothing sells. I moved back to Depop and eBay which is much cheaper and they actually monitor their own platform for counterfeits.
Good riddance pm
I do not sell on Poshmark - I only purchase. Thankfully, I have had no issues with the few items I have ordered. When I purchased recently, it automatically paid my item through paypal without adhering to my security issues with paypal... I must be sent a text from paypal to confirm it is me. Yet, It bypassed that and It automatically paid. I was baffled. Since Poshmark never responded I contacted paypal who said I had signed a billing agreement with Poshmark to automatically pay them! I did nothing of the kind, especially since I do not sell on their site. I would never do anything like this with any company. I was quite upset to hear that and I had paypal remove it. Not only did Poshmark not respond to my inquiry, they sent me an email asking me to rate the girl who helped me! I never got a response - I didn't know who it was and nobody ever contacted me. I told them that and still I have not heard from anyone. This is pretty much going to be my last purchase with them - I'm not even comfortable buying on this site. Because if there is an issue with an item, I will probably never hear from them. I also tried to contact the seller and tho you could type the email to them there was no way you could send it? Beware of your payment situation if you use this site or better yet beware of them period.
My second sale on site was a Dooney Bag for $300. Used 1 time, perfect condition! Smelled like a high end Leather bag, and buyer had a case of buyer's remorse and asked me to cancel the sale. I did not.shipped the bag and upon delivery the buyer opened a case and claimed she had a severe allergic reaction to a dryer sheet smell! She demanded a return and refund. I had all the photos and messages to show a bad faith purchase, but they sided with buyer! I have sold other high end leather bags on other popular sites, and always got 5 stars for sales! I immediately pulled all my bags and collectibles from the site and closed my "shop". Too many loopholes that are very biased against sellers. Beware!
Do not buy or sell in poshmark. I was scammed out of 900 dollars! They will not help you or stand by you in anyway! Mercari or ebay is much better with supporting their sellers and buyer!
I don't understand Poshmark's customer service and they've decided against me as both a buyer and seller in situations that weren't warranted. I bought a shirt described as having a raw hem. Turns out it was a dress cut in half. I opened a case, because this wasn't indicated in the listing and Poshmark denied my case, saying the item was as described. Raw hem doesn't mean cut in half item. Secondly a buyer said that one of my items sewing was coming undone on one of the shoulders and they approved her case and sent my item back to me and refunded her money. When I got the item, the shoulder was sewn fine and a thread was loose. I cut it off and now I can't even find the area the customer was talking about. How they refund for a loose thread and not for a dress cut in half, I don't understand. They also just stop responding in the middle of emailing. So there's no resolution. They've done this to me 3 or 4 times. Anyway, I have two more sales going out now and I'm switching to eBay and selling locally for all future sales. Poshmark can suck it.
Once you sign up and look and like a few items the onslaught starts. In one day I received over twenty emails.
I quickly tried to delete my account only to be told I couldn't as I was in negotiations with multiple vendors. I wasn't but they had inundated me with offers.
Terrible
I "liked" an item and the seller sent me an offer. When I tried to accept the offer, the system said it had expired. That could not have been the case because only 6 night-time hours had passed since the offer was sent. I tried a few times and emailed the seller. Finally, the purchase went through but at the original listing price, not the offered price, and my PayPal account was already charged. I immediately (within 5 minutes) messaged the seller, phoned Poshmark, and, because they were closed emailed Poshmark Support. Then I left for work where I do not have access to my personal email. When I came home for lunch there was email from Poshmark telling me that I could cancel my order if it was within 3 hours of purchase. By that time, 5 hours had elapsed and I could not cancel. Because the whole problem was caused by malfunctioning of the Poshmark website, I feel that they should have accommodated my request to either cancel the order or adjust my charge to what the offered price was, especially since copies of my emails to both the seller and Poshmark are in their system. At this point, I will open a dispute with my credit card company that is linked to PayPal.
I FINALLY got the boots of my dreams. So happy with poshmark. The price is very affordable and I recommend them
The app is not user-friendly when you have a concern. I made three purchases during the same week and bought three pairs of Birkenstocks. 1 pair was never sent and eventually got the refund. The 2nd pair I received and they ended up being fake Birkenstocks b/c they didn't have serial number. The 3rd pair arrived, but, the cork part/specifically at the footbed part where it bends when you walk appears to be disintegrating. I sent a message to the seller and wrote the review. Poshmark didn't do anything. I don't plan on using Poshmark anytime soon, possibly never again. What a waste of money.
I have bought tons of items off of Poshmark. I bought for 8 years and now recently started selling. I even bought a $750 wedding dress on pockmark 2 years ago that arrived with pulls and slight stains on it and sent photos of it and discussed it with Poshmark and they immediately sent me a shipping label to return the dress as well as a refund 2 days later. They also banned the seller selling that item and restricted her account. They did this because she was untruthful. NOT because I just received an item I didn't like. Poshmark is a marketplace for used, and new items. This is not a try it on and see and then return free for all site. It is a buy as is platform. You are buying items from other people who ship them right from their home, you have to know exactly what you are buying and have all the answers before you buy, otherwise it's on you! (Unless they are untruthful, of course.) You also have to understand the risks of things not fitting, even if it's in your size… every brand is different and it's a risk you take if you place an order and aren't sure. Additionally, Poshmark has been pretty good about making things right, for me at least! You just have to speak with them about something the SELLER actually did wrong and they WILL help you, I promise.
I was completely new to Poshmark. I have never attempted to sell anything on Poshmark. After listing several items, I checked back to see how my closet looked and all of my items were gone! I reached out to Poshmark for an explanation. It took them not 2, not 3, but 4 days to get back to me with some bogus excuse. They are alleging that my account is tied to "tied to" accounts that have been "restricted" in the past. What does that even mean? No proof, no further information. Again, I never listed anything with Poshmark. Bogus.
Wrong shoe, wrong size, wrong color…
Ridiculous! Never again! Awful! Terrible!
Seller: Colette Kurtz
My first order - i placed the order on a Friday and the shipping label was created on same day - on Monday I received a message from daacda that she was sick and would ship Monday evening - Tuesday. Morning usps still didn't have the package so I sent an inquiry and asked for the tracking number - I called usps and they still didn't have the package so I sent her a message and asked if she had shipped + she then bombarded me with nasty emails calling me names - then told me their tracking was horrible and told me to relax - then she the whole thing to customer service - I'm literally shocked - what a horrible experience
BEWARE OF POSHMARK!
I bought a pair of Stuart Weitzman sandals and the description said size 11. When the arrived, the were marked 11S which is slim. Obviously the seller knew the size but didn't put it in the description.
This would be like buying a pair of pants size 10 and when they showed up they were marked 10P (petite).
I reached out to Poshmark and they said I "didn't ask enough questions". Really? If you know the shoes are marked 11S, why wouldn't you post that in your description? They would not do anything.
The jacket I ordered was in fine condition but the seller failed to mention that it had darts at the breast and that the jacket would only work for a woman with big breasts. As it was a size 4, it's not obvious that the person buying said jacket would have big breasts. I let Poshmark know immediately that I'd have to send it back as it did not fit properly and they refused! Shocking to me. Will never purchase anything else by this company ever again.
I ordered sneakers from weston2212 and when I received them and opened the box, before I even took them out of the box I could smell a stinky, sweaty foot smell. Poshmark would not refund my money. They are very unethical and let the sellers get away with selling garbage because they want the money, I will never buy anything from that site again.
They always look good in the pictures, but in person they look ugly and old. Sometimes they use perfume to hide bad smells. Some sellers do not even send the items. I hated 95% of the purchases (almost all), and I asked only once for return a cheap one, because it was too different from the pictures and the description, saying I would pay for return fee. But the seller was rude and made me humilate. She contacted customer service for help, who worked for her. They even locked ny purchase record of the cloth, so that I could not give the seller a bad review.I regret that I even visited this website.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
