Ever since Popeyes was sold to restaurant brands international, The quality of the chicken and the preparation of the food service has steadily gone downhill in a surprisingly and unexpected way!
I have tried to forgive and forget, on more one occasion, but I keep getting the same results! "Terrible
Food". My only other consolation, Is that I once enjoyed fried chicken the way I loved it for so many years! And the way I believe the original founder mean't it to be!

You need to fired whole night staff I set in drive over 20 min then back up and went inside only to stand in line for a 20min and not get serve because no one took my order that crew is really messed up

The "hot and spicy " chicken sandwich was bland. Not much flavor at all. The Cajun gravy didn't have any kick at all!
Never ordering again.

I was in san marcos texas Popeye's at Stone Creek Center (McCarty and IH35) at 1:15, Friday March 1,2024. Kid at counter wouldn't wait on me or look at me as he was preparing previous orders and taking them out to customers and talking with briefly relatives. I was getting a little irritated at that but was waiting to give my order. No other employees came up to take orders. Then a customer brings back an open tray of 2-3 pcs of chicken that i guess were wrong on his order AND THE KID PUTS THE CHICKEN BACK IN THE FULL BIN OF COOKED AND READY TO GO OUT CHICKEN! And then gives customer other chicken. I couldn't believe what i was seeing and this made me leave immediately and go somewhere else to eat.

I don't understand all the raves I've heard about this chicken. Ate there for the first time and I ordered some tenders. They were absolutely tasteless. No herbs or spices, pieces were small and over cooked. Biscuits had more taste but unfortunately, it was salty tasting... a biscuit.
My daughter got the "signature" wings. Looked good but she almost chipped a tooth when she tried to bite into them. I could've taken chunks from the chicken and loaded them into my muzzle loader and used it as ammo. Just $#*!ty all the way around. Won't be ever eating there again. I'll stick with KFC!

Popeye has the worst people working for them to provide customer service or they are badly trained. I did a mobile pick up for 4 people got home to learn that 1 person is missing their food, spent $50 with them.

Now what, I drive back? I called them, can't speak to humans it is all texting. It is probably run by 20 year olds. Even with texting, they are incompetent.
A family of 4, one child had no food so I gave my food and I had nothing to eat.

I contacted customer service and they offered $5. What an insult. Many texts, much repeated information request for the same information, copy of bill, my email, my phone over and over to give me $5 and wasted like a few hours dealing with incompetent Head Office Customer Service.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY shop elsewhere, KFC or Mary Browns or some other. Errors happen but when called to resolve an issue, dont be irritating and escalate it further.

Popeyes is like the most worst thing i have very eaten all the food was raw and hard and cold i through it up

I've been going here since I was little and enjoyed it but it has definitely taken a turn for the worse. The people taking my order did not listen to me at all. After I started eating the meal I realized that the regular chicken tenders tasted like barf, but my father, who was with me at the time, believed it tasted more like soggy toilet paper. While the biscuits have definitely improved the beans and rice gave me the blazing $#*!s. The spicy chicken tenders were definitely not the same and they are bland with spice while the others are just bland. All in all we believe that Popeyes sucks $#*! and you should go to Crispy Crunchy Chicken at your local gas station.

The Chicken is bad enough, so we don't eat there. Last year we had a Fish Sandwich, so we decided to take a chance and order 2 for Lunch. It's Lent season and we don't eat meat on Fridays, today we got 2 Chicken Sandwiches. The Popeyes on University and Gattis are the worst.

The worst customer service. They didn't know what chicken they had dark or white. Didn't know how many pieces they had. When asked the guy said a little bit. It's 8pm, why take my order when I asked for a 16 piece and you don't have what I want. The worst place I've ever been and I'll never come back

NASTY GIRL NAMED TAIESHA SPITS IN THE FOOD IN A SKIP DA GAMES AD FOR SEX. SHE IS A WORKER AT THE POPEYES IN WILSON NC ON RALEIGH ROAD.

I always give good reviews on this Popeyes, but the last few times that I've gone there the service was poor and unfriendly, today being the worst it's ever been. The young girl that took care of me never smiled or asked how I was, I handed her a coupon and never asked if I wanted regular or spicy. As I was waiting for my order six other people came in and placed there orders and within minutes they were on there way, as for me still waiting. There was others that were there before me they finally received there orders, as I continued to wait I finally went up to the same girl who took my order I asked what was the delay? She grumbled at me that they were waiting for the wings to come out? I said can't you just let me have something else? Why would you make me wait for just ONE wing. With some time she brought me my order, no sorry no thank you, not to mention that one of the breasts was not cooked all the way. I've heard many complaints from others about this store. I think I'll be going to the new store in union or it's sister store instead of this one

The Flounder fish is CRAP. Too salty, no taste, and too much Batter. Never will purchase it again. Take it off the menu

First of all we went through the drive through and we were the second in line. It took 30 minutes to get an order for 2. Then we could see the people making the food and they were touching our food without gloves on which is completely disgusting and to top it off well…. I'd rather eat dog$#*! then eat there food. Gross gross gross

If there were an opportunity for zero stars, I would give it that. Mobile order to picked up at 4:25. Arrived at that time only to be told by rude front employees, then manager, it would not be ready for another 15 minutes. In 23 minutes, I received order, missing some items I ordered. Very frustrating. I will not be returning!

First thing I want to say is Popeyes has always been my favorite chicken restaurant. My family and I were in Maize and decided to try out the newly built "Popeyes" on Maize Rd. My wife and I love Popeyes chicken sandwich and agree it's the best over all of the other chicken restaurants. But this particular restaurant was the worst my wife had ever had. It was very thin and dry and almost flat as a pancake. She was so disappointed! I ordered fried chicken and it was a little undercooked. You could see some pink in it. My wife was so upset I drove her over to another Popeye's restaurant on Central Ave in Wichita and ordered her another chicken sandwich. It was great, just like every one we have ever had in the past. We mainly wanted to see if Popeyes had changed their chicken sandwich throughout the whole company or if it was just this restaurant on Maize Rd. The problem is this particular restaurant, it is newly built and I'm sure the new employees are still getting adjusted to how things need to be cooked. Someone in Corporate or management needs to get experienced people training these employees or it could cause problems for this restaurant in the future.

I'm sitting at the new Popeyes on Gateway. 11 customers have come thru since I ordered a chicken sandwich an I finally get mine. After 10 mins I asked about it she said it takes 6 mins to cook. Ok so I still had to wait 20 more mins

I'm sorry I'm not a complainer at all especially when it comes to fast food because I no it's hard to put up with certain people but now it's time for me to speak up because every time this LaPorte tx location screws up my order is always over $50 dollars! I am sick of this location I went there tonight 2/3/24 and I ordered a family meal, not only was I shorted 4 pieces out of the order I asked for a mix of white meat and didn't get that either! The service sucks, which I don't understand why because I didn't choose their place of employment! I'm sorry but I don't complain about food and I treat them right cause I can't stand the thought of someone messing with my food for being disrespectful because we all know it happens! I will never go to this location again nor any other cause I've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars and every time you all let me down! They can never get an order right! I don't know if it's just the night crew but I'm done with yall and if I get a chance to broadcast this on tv to show everyone I will! I'm sorry if anyone else has experience this but one things for sure I will not spend another dollar with this establishment and the lack of customer service and reading order comprehension! Good day and good riddance! I'm not adding photos of this crap only because I already threw it in the garbage and I'm out at a restaurant cause I had company but I'm done with yall
