We had a very disappointing experience with PoolSupplies.com.

We purchased a $3,400 pool, and the liner they sent was completely undersized and unusable. Unfortunately, we discovered this while contractors were on-site installing the pool, which caused immediate delays and additional labor costs.

When we contacted the company, we expected them to take responsibility for the mistake. Instead, they offered only $150 and a $100 store credit—despite the liner retailing for over $650. They also wanted us to package and return the incorrect liner while our project was stalled.

This situation cost us both time and money, and their response felt dismissive given the impact of their error.

We are extremely frustrated with the lack of accountability and would not recommend purchasing from them based on our experience.

I will start off by saying about 20 years ago I worked for a pool company for a few years and have done my share of liners.In the spring of 2024 we bought a liner from them installed it everything was smooth liner was a great fit. Circumstances out of our control happened over winter causing our liner to get a big tear on the bottom and the pool completley drained liner shrank so spring/ early summer 2025 we need to install another liner. We went back here to buy it. We order the exact same liner. We get the new one try installing it and its WAY to big I had tons of excess hanging off the walls like 6 feet total of material hanging loose. It is very obvious this is the wrong liner. Web dig through the papers that came with the liner hidden in the papers is a card that says the liner size. Yup its not the size we ordered. We call and get treated like garbage telling us we are wrong even after sending a pic of the card that came with the liner they called us liars said we didnt know what we were doing. They said the liner was a couple inches bigger to help with the install. After they told us we should of had a professional installer put it in we told them I had experience with pools they laughed it off again insinuating we were lying. They are flat out refusing a return or exchange and now will not respond to emails or phone calls. Very rude, condescending lady on the phone. This is a horrible way to treat a customer let alone returning customers

I ordered a pool kit and upon opening the boxes realized that over HALF the parts are missing. Vital parts. Which means I can't put the pool together. Customer service had done NOTHING TO REMEDY THE SITUATION!

Bought over 300 dollar sand filter for my pool was sent without outside plug it's oddball size can't get at any pool supply store they sent me one in mail it's been two weeks still haven't received it I thought purchasing online vs paying top dollar at pool store would save me money but costed more in chemicals and loss of them not having a working sand filter for almost 3 weeks now I asked for expedited shipping they said no it only takes 3 days usps, do not buy from this company if you have problems they have horrible customer service!

Ordered a 28 round pool cover received a 24 ft and a 28 box pool already shut down now setting said they would put a rush on my order been waiting 3 days.

Crappy products, want to help after you complain, not when you need it. BUY ELESWHERE! They do not care. They take full advantage of people and this review is shared feelings by many according to the Better Business Bureau.

I purchased a Merlin cover from Poolsupplies.com, where they made me sign off on a drawing and yet they didn't deliver the correct cover. Poolsupplies washed their hands of it and pointed me to Merlin Industries where they are of no help either. I paid Poolsupplies.com yet they refer me to their distributor! This is no way to do business and would highly recommend to NEVER use Poolsupplies.com or Merlin Industries. I paid of $5,000 for the cover!

I bought a pool cover from pool supply.com (but at the the time it was blizzard pool covering). I bought a 20 x 40 pool cover in 2021. It had a 10 year warranty. Unfortunately there pool covers are of low quality and develop multiple leaks under normal conditions of use.

They ( the pool covers) are sold under a semi ficticious business called Blizzards pool covers.
This is a shell game business scam that flies under the radar of state business registation for purposes of skating on apportionment obligations. Will you try try get benefit from the 10 year warranty that they claim they honor?Good luck. I am dizzy tryng to track down savemore on pool supplies.com. We ordered a lake effect above ground pool and an rx clear radiant sand filter from pool supplies.com. About a month into our second season the valve on the top of the filter starting leaking, water would run out of the waste port while using the recirculate mode. On top of being incapable of helping me identify the gasket inside the multiport valve, they also refused to cover the valve under warranty because it is a mechanical item. Poolsupplies.com is a great place to buy cheap junk at low prices but don't expect any help down the road.

Do NOT buy from these crooks! I puchased a liner on 6/7/2023 and installed 6/30/23 once I installed and filled these holes appeared! Contacted support and since it's not in the seam they want cover it! Not even a 30 day warranty is bull$#*!!

I only bought 2 things from them. One was small and the other was the solar pool cover for about $200 or so. I bought the more expensive one because they say how great it is. Well, it lasted less than a year. That's less than a cheaper one I bought before this. This cover started cracking and now it's making a mess in the pool. I notified them when it first started cracking and they asked me to send photos. So I went out to my pool and did that. After I sent them the photos and a summary, they responded with nothing. They said they weren't going to do anything for me. I'll never buy from them again. So it's not a 1 star because at least they did respond to me but they don't stand behind their products and to me, that's not ok.

The solar cover I ordered arrived before the weekend and was lower cost then other sites. Would buy from again!

The pools are junk and horrible to install with 3 page generic for any type pool instructions.They drop your account and email after delivery and they have zero customer service. Zero. No answer. No call back. No nothing. Buyer beware, don't use this company.

I bought 2 solar heaters for my above ground pool and even after 3 wks it's not even getting hot a little bit. I called the company and they says not enough sun. It has at least 6 hrs of sun and no hot even in the pool hose after running through this heater.
This firm is cheating customers as they don't send the return label when the item is not working. Do not trust this company. You can buy from your local store and return the item with no cost for shipping if it doesn't work!

We bought a 1200 series solar blanket in May '22. It was so flimsy, we had to be extremely cautious handling. We have had many covers over the last 31 years. 1st cover lasted 7or 8 years. This was the worst. It disintegrated down 3 straight lines the length of cover. It was not caused by chemicals or sunlight or heat, or the whole cover would have been damaged. The company would not budge on warranty. Manufacturing quality has went down hill in this country over the years, this is just another example.

I purchased the Aqua Select Grecian Outdoor Pool Fountain. I have an in-ground pool with 4 jets. When I hooked up the fountain, it only went up only 6" to 8". Very disappointed. I don't know if I blocked the other 3 jets if it would go higher, but then you wouldn't have any of the closed off jets working and you would have to disconnect and reconnect every time you wanted to use the fountain. The photo of the fountain working is deceiving. I wished the description of the product had more information. I contacted Poolsupplies.com and customer service was very good. They are issuing me a refund and they didn't want the item back.

We purchased a filter and motor in June 2021. By December 2022 both products have substantial pin hole leaks in the casings of the filter and the metal casing on the motor. As the warranty has expired, the company will not do anything.

I purchased a pool cover for my pool this year around the March time frame. Unfortunately the cover has disintegrated within 6 months. It was explained to me they won't replace the cover with their warranty because it's "not covered under these circumstances". We are very careful with our covers and usually get a full season, sometimes two, but to not even get one is a joke. We live in a high heat climate but this shouldn't be a factor on longevity of life. If you're reading this please be very careful purchasing products from this company, because, clearly they don't stand behind their products.

I purchased a replacement pool liner and an in pool ladder for my 18ft round above ground doughboy. The liner was dark river slate stone (black / grey) upon install we noticed a WHITE line along the entire bottom circle as well as across the pool. I contacted poolsupplies com. They asked for pictures. I sent them. They then suggested 2 options. They stated since the pool is now in use they will offer a 33% refund or for me to cut a 12x12 square out of the liner and return it to them for a full refund. 1st I said I'd take the 33% refund. They stated on Aug 28 2022 a refund would be issued. (5 days later) Sept 2,2022 I emailed again approx when I should be expecting said refund. Reply was allow 48-72 hrs. I replied stating the quality of the liner was far from what was described and I'm sure it was simply an oversight as they have been in business some time. I told them since the refund was never issued, I'd go ahead and send them the 12 x 12 square and rather than have them refund my card, please send a replacement liner. Considering the expense it takes to drain the pool, remove the liner, secure the base & coving, install a new liner & refill the pool. As well as the down time to do this... I take a loss. Not the company. To date 9/13/2022 I have not received a refund, replacement or a response.
As a company they should be embarrassed for the lack of customer service. I understand things happen. I stated it could have been an oversight. I gave them multiple opportunities to correct the problem. Based on what I've experienced, the management offers empty promises and returning customers are of no value. Buyer beware.

I've used this business over 14 years yes I've only had one problem with a pump not working when I ordered it. And a couple mailings problems! With that being said I made a Order a week ago received it today missing Half of my order and they tried to bait and switch! With one of my salt water products closing kit, old product been leaking and they would rather loose a good customer than fix the problem! I THINK BECUSE THEY DON'T HAVE THE PRODUCTS THEY ARE ADVERTISEING, BUT THEY WANT YOUR MONEY, young lady I talk to slightly rude like she opened the product, put me on hold 3 times to tell me I got what I ordered!
