I wish people would figure this out, already. MOST of the females, on sites such as these, are not females at all, and, if they are then they are handling multiple accounts. Male or female, the dating sites are scams. I have personally worked at sites such as these and pretended to be a female and had answered thousands of emails for men. I was paid ten (10) cents per email for work rendered. Additionally, I was paid thirty (30) cents to create new profiles, using pictures provided by the site owners. Finally, the site owner himself was constantly asking me, "Don't you know any girls? Do you know any who would pose for us?"

Seriously, humans are stupid.

I had never previously used a dating service but upon seeing a commercial for POF decieded to give it a try. I went on a few dates with some very nice men however there was no real sparks for the first few months however in my third month of using the site I was lucky enough to meet my perfect match. I cant begin to express my graditute to POF for providing this free service and allowing me the opportunity to meet such a wonderful man. I definitely recommend this site.

I tried plenty of fish in 2012. It was just a bunch of boys acting like men! Then I met someone. He was wonderful but it never worked out cause he was a momma's boy. Tried it again in 2014. Between a bunch of piece of $#*!, $#*! searching, dogs I found what I'm thinking is the last good one. We started dating and got married August 2015! I have to give POF a bit of credit cause I couldn't have done it without that site. But I definitely delt with a bunch of $#*! until my husband came alone.

Not gonna lie... I'm not bitter at all and honestly I just wanted to hookup... but the women on this cite are BBW's (which is not an issue, just not my preference) and extremely fine women... I find it hard to believe the fine women on this site is having to result to a dating website... They literally can have any man they want...
I believe it's just another form of indirect attention that some women thrive for... They wanna be told about their beauty and such but don't want it to go further than that...

Site is full of rude qunts. 99.9% of the *itches never respond. The ones that do have no intention of going out with you One qunt had the nerve to call me creepy. I ripped her a new one. Another one just wanted to be a facebook friend. The games are never ending. These broads will favorite you and never send an email, nor will they respond to an email. I suspect POF sends these teasers to get you to upgrade. Another game is a young pretty gal, 20 years your junior, will say hi, you respond, and they want you to go to another dating site. I suspect the majority of the females on this site are fake and scammers The ones that do respond are fugly (fat and ugly) and/or 10-15 years older than you. At least the shunning is free. The POF staff should screen their applicants and kick the qunts off that do not respond. I am DONE with POF. It's the place where all the stuck up rude qunts take refuge. For those of you who blew me off... BITE ME! Kiss my #ss dolflynn! You 've been on POF for NINE YEARS! Give it up and become a nun!

I have had two unsavory experiences on PoF. The first came under the guise of a 'hopeless romantic' who wanted to connect with friends (and plainly stated he was there to avoid 'hookups' and casual sexual encounters). I thought he was sincere, and I most certainly fell for the guise as he continuously asked me out on dates (not hangouts, dates). It wasn't until, after being introduced to his friends, that I was given the lengthy silent treatment. I am so low-maintenance it is ridiculous and all that I do ask when in a budding relationship is that the line of communication stay open. Nothing, for days. No responses to simple 'Hello, how are things?' messages. I found out he was seeing several women from the website. He was too cowardly to simply say he wasn't interested and I suspect he liked the thought of having other women 'on the side'. The sad thing is I purposely sought out an older male to avoid these juvenile head games. Instead I found that PoF is full of divorced 'hopeless romantics' who are nothing less than emo, wannabe players. I get it, you want to explore casual dating -- at least have the decency to let the other person know you're spreading yourself thin. I would not have bothered otherwise.

The other gentlemen I encountered was just insane. No, really. He still texts me (after my repeatedly asking him not to do so) with updates on his therapy and medications.

PoF is a PoS masquerading as a dating site. They are all there for sex. If you have an account, delete it. Try the old-fashioned method.

Would give it 0 stars if I could, met total creeps, cheats on here and had a hard time deleting my account it's basically a hook up site avoid with all costs. I wouldn't rejoin if they paid me
