After I joined my inbox was exploding within hours... 99% fake profiles. At first I deleted them. Then I started doing a reverse image search & reported them to POF. I let them know that the profiles were fake, even told them who the images were really of & when taken. Initially they would delete the photos (but not the profiles). Within 2 hours the profiles were back up with new or sometimes even the same pics. I reported the same profiles repeatedly & pof still took no action to delete the profiles. One of their key guiding principles is be real. They claim to have zero tolerance but yet take no action when scammers are identified and reported to them. Quit after just a few days. How could I possibly feel safe on a site that has zero regard for my personal safety. Extremely disappointed in their lack of concern & complete dismissal of my reports of known scammers.

Had an account for over 10 years and then found my account was deleted for no reason with no warning. Did some research and read that for some reason they deleted thousands of men's accounts(not women's) and never gave any indication why. I made a new account and emailed them asking why my account of 10 years was deleted, and they responded by deleting that new account. I did that three times before giving up. They suck. EDIT: Just saw this here: "I contacted customer service via email and received a reply: my email address was no longer associated with my account." Yes, because they deleted your account rather than respond to your question. That's how lazy and useless they are.

The females on pof are a joke. They're all bored sociopaths looking for a fresh game to play, nothing more. They are fat, smell bad, are hideously ugly, and have the I. Q. of a lawn weed.

The site is full of scammers. No matter how often you come back, the same people are there. If the site were so great, they'd be long gone. Then there are the soldiers and missionaries coming home soon. Scammers. Don't waste your time and emotional energy.

Hello ladies, be on the lookout for Steve Sumner from Muncie, In. He will try to ruin your life. He acts like he is nice and he is not. He says he is lonely and only wants one lady, then before you know it he flings with over weight women. I seen more than 3 at his house in a month. He keeps a Facebook with FWB that have him with 3 or 4 others on one profile and their main Facebook. He thinks he is sneaky. Not trustworthy. If you like a man that likes to swop and call him Daddy, then he is the one for you. A lot of fakes on there. I am not going back.

If you do join dont ever send bad feedback or get a little upset cause customer service will screw your account up on purpose and i was a premium member. Once they get your money they do not care anymore. A lot of the profiles are Bots. They keep pushing you to live stream, its a joke.

I had been chatting for a long time with 6 women on PoF. My User Name was GreyWolff, I planned to come to Kiev to meet at least some of them. As a result, one week prior to my trip 2 of them made their profiles inactive on the site (hiding from me, I guess), 2 of them fell in love with the other men, one of them had family issues all of a sudden and the last one had to work on New year's night. Can you call it a coincidence? No, you can't. Now I see that it was all scam. Money drain! Don`t give your phone number and credit card details

Customer service is not existant!

I was on there in the pass. So this is what happened. I was talking to a lady on there. So I know so people have old pics. So I asked for a pic that was not on her profile. I asked her sent it from her phone. The pic didn't look like her at all. I abruptly stop talking to her. She contacted pof and bad mouth me and I was banned without due process. They didn't want to hear my side. So pof need to clean up there policing. They really need to do something with people with fake profiles.

Not allowing your users to delete the account they created from the app is pure evil and greed. This app is full of spam and bots it seems like the company itself is creating and promoting. These apps will do and always will abuse your data.

So many guys just sent abused messages. Some guys use another person pictures. They use another country actors pic for their profile. I knew because we can find them on Instagram. When guys report you, pof will stand beside you and agains women right.

POF (Plenty of Fish) is the most free dating site that I have found. Unfortunately it is also one of the most abused site for scammers. I have met ladies that showed an interest in me. Nearly 100% of them eventually asked me for money/gift cards, for a variety of reasons. Having some experience with dating sites, I have found a number of pirated photos that are being used. I have also read the exact same paragraphs on a number of topics from many different women, suggesting that these accounts have a centralized business model. Be aware of the grammar or sentence structure oddities. Take the time to research photos on various scammer identifications sites. And never send money or gift cards to someone you have never met.

I am a big fan of the show Catfish and thanks to it I don't go to this dating website. The show shows a lot of problems that POF has.

The main problem is the women all seem to be 3/10 at best yet think they're all 10s and they want a 10
Add in the fact most are overweight, have tattoos, multiple children, aggressive profiles, no decorum, no class and no happiness in their profile then it's no surprise they're single

They don't seem to grasp the concept of creating a good first impression and complain in their bio about how all men are cheats druggies liars etc.

They all seem to lack social skills too, if they're that emotionally and intellectually stunted on a message imagine how bad they are in real life

You have zero chance of meeting a decent woman on here. They have more attitude and baggage than I've ever seen. Yet they think they're princesses, obese princesses with plenty of tattoos, that is

This site is garbage. I tried to log into my POF account this morning coming to realize that POF deleted my account for no reason. Following all the rules and guidelines thinking I'm not a REAL PERSON when I am. I have professional modeling photos. For your information I am NOT A FAKE PROFILE. Therefore my account should NOT have been deleted..

I would not recommend this site, especially if you're using it to stream. I was supposed to receive money from streaming and earning diamonds and I have yet to see the money. Countless, pointless e-mails were sent back and forth and when they couldn't handle what was requested then they stopped trying to fix the issue and ignored my requests for the money that I supposedly earned. DO NOT use pof, I will be deleting my account

I wore a BLM shirt in one of my pictures. On the first day, I was verbally attacked by three different members (one who called me an 'inbred' and an 'ape lover', one who told me I "must love black people" because I "work with addicts" and another who told me that white women only like black men for the "primal sex". Of course I bit back (I have biracial children) before reporting the users, but then I got flagged for rude behavior. My account was then reported for saying, "All the racists are ugly." (HATE SPEECH) "I prefer black men, but I will date white men, as long as you don't think the election was rigged." (DISCRIMINATION) I also said I will not date men who voted for Trump. (DISCRIMINATION) Despite how you feel, that is an important part of mutual attraction. What liberal is going to date a MAGA Hat? I put in my interests "Liberalism" and that was removed for discrimination. I put in my conversation starter, "If you come at me with racism, I will screen shot it and put it on social media." (BULLYING)Please avoid this platform if you are a POC or someone who believes in social justice and equality. Women, this is not a safe site for you. My account is probably going to get deleted after this, but I don't care. Living in West Virginia, my life's work is outing racists.

I have been a customer of POF on and off for many years. After it was purchased by Match.com, which owns almost all on line dating sites, its service deteriorated as there was no need to compete with other dating sites.
Now, POF, though still advertising as having millions of customers, is offering minimum value.
You cannot see who "likes you", or "wants to meet you", unless you pay for premium service.
It ignores customer's preferences as to location, and sends potential matches that live far away, while blocking (intentionally or not, I cannot say) matches that live close by.
In a way it is understandable, because if it was easy to find a good match, two people would couple up and leave the site, thereby POF would lose two customers. It is not in their best interest.
Unfortunately this is true for almost all on-line dating sites.

I just uploaded a new picture and they take it down almost nanoseconds. The picture is me I look different in every pic.

Also months ago u take down my dog pic yet I see so many woman put dog pics up.

It doesn't make sense and u pof workers should be consistent. I don't know what kind of people u hire.

I guess u get what u pay for cause it's free. Do they hire clerks who just click buttons to show there working

Separated a few years back. Decided to try POF. Spent money and tried messaging different ladies only to be told that they had their messaging turned off. But in their profiles it actually says to message them. Some of these women I knew previously. When I ran into these ladies later I asked them why they had their messages turned off. They said they never had it turned off. POF scam. Also, POF said they would notify me to renew my subscription but they just put through my bank card # without consent.

Nobody communicates with anyone else. You can send out as many likes as you want, but nobody will like you back and of course nobody will talk to you on the phone if you do get a response. I get likes, I like them back and I never hear back from them again. Typical so called dating website. If you are a man good luck to you. I got a like from somebody and she replied back "who are you?. They sent out a false like to me from her and she was not even interested. Just a waste of money. Then there are the scammers trying to get my debit card info by sayng they want to video chat, but my debit card info is needed to do it. They are so stupid and can't spell either. Just plain $#*!ed idiots.
