The women are REALLY angry on pof

It's full of oddballs and misfits who for some reason think they are great

You have short women saying they will only date tall men and unattractive women wanting good looking men. Lots of them are overweight and have glasses and chubby faces

They don't seem to understand the older you get the less choosy you can be

I saw one woman who didn't drive and didn't work but said you needed to work and have a car to contact her

This the one of the dating apps out there, ok if you are a premium paying member the app tells you what age bracket you need to date so if you are a man or a woman and wants to date someone younger they do not allow it seriously what century you guys live on? If a person is 18 years or older is up to the person who they should or not date is an user app all other dating apps get this but POF lives in the 15th century acting as user's parents, is probably one of the glitchiest apps specially the messaging system sometimes does not show when you message someone in the past, app is disorganized messy and not user friendly.

I got hacked within three weeks of joining by a cam girl! The customer service on here is non existent. Do not join!

I've been on and off this site for many years and it can be very frustrating. It doesn't always get messages sent, and gives many different reasons the opposite sex person is not receiving messages. Lots of pressure created to get you to become upgraded member, which can't possibly be worth it given quality of site. Site seems to attract the strangest profiles... female that is! Finding someone here would be like finding a diamond in the rough!

I got a message from a female I didn't fancy but I asked her how many messages she gets a day. She said she gets about 50 a day

Seriously? Men seem that desperate that they will message anything with a pulse. No wonder unattractive women have an attitude when needy men are telling them they're great every few minutes

After hearing that about 50 messages I just closed my account.

Online dating has made it so ugly women can be picky. You have to smile when you see women who are 2/10 acting like they're 10/10

Also why are there so many single mums on POF. Why so many women have multiple children out of wedlock is baffling to me. They always say their 3 children will always come first and how they are independent yet can't understand why they can't get a man!

The first profile I came to was from a distinctly average looking lady who was 38 and she said " I won't respond if you ask me how I am" I was a but surprised as she should be grateful to get any messages nevermind being picky but it sums the site up perfectly

I soon discovered this site is full of crackpots, from women who lie about having a degree in their bio to one's that say they love roadtrips yet can't drive

I noticed that every woman regards herself as a princess/diva who only will accept the best looking man ~ who must be over 6foot tall and be handsome too. The fact these women are 2/10 & have no humour, class and have nothing to offer a relationship seems totally lost on them. It's all about what THEY want. They don't consider a man might not find them attractive. They're deluded and common

Give this site a wide berth, you have no chance of finding a balanced happy nice female. 1 star is too high for it. Full of dregs and social misfits

Plenty of Fish is just like every other dating website these days. This website is purposely built to have stunted design, no real features for new members, and a horrible messaging system. All for the purpose of forcing its user base to purchase its subscription services to unlock basic features like messaging people who've liked your profile, or even just being able to look at their profiles.

I almost considered purchasing there services until I saw the ridiculous fees they charge; $79.92 for a 8 month subscription to talk to complete strangers. Any dating website (that is to say, all of them) that hides it features behind paywalls is a scam. It preys on its userbases loneliness and sexual/romantic unfulfillment to trick them into purchasing services that on any other social media app would be free.

Beyond its par for the course business practices, the website runs terribly. I was kicked out of my account, while setting up my profile, twice. And each time, I had to enter in all the information I'd entered previously from scratch. I'd specified I was interested in women looking for long term relationships, but kept getting recommended profiles that said they weren't looking for commitment or who were already in a relationship. Add to that the garish, bear bones layout design, omnipresent advertisements for equally scummy dating sites and apps, and unpleasant bright blue and pink color scheme, and you'll be sick of this place long before you start having those stilted, go nowhere conversations that dominant this market.

Fake profiles, mail messaging problems, support problems, delays and glitches in page changes, support does not respond, don't pay them money,,, you will be sorry... they should be class action sued for breach of contract...

The site made me laugh. The women are so nasty and picky it's actually funny
They all want their dream man but have nothing to offer except attitude & tattoos and they all love to stick their tongue out in photos. Very classy

No way could they get away with this level of entitlement and pickiness offline in the real world. If the internet didn't exist these women would get no interest

It's basically overweight and unattractive females demanding you must be perfect while they have nothing to offer. Most are really bitter and jaded with the world and you can tell straight away. They make no effort to be nice.

They are single because no man wants them. Take the hint!

My experience on POF was a little better than some of the other sites but mostly fake profiles. People would like my picture than ask me to sign up for some other webcam site with clickbait. I did get one person's number but from the almost 100 plus people I reached out to I received very few results and maybe 1 phone number which didn't lead anywhere. At least it wasn't that expensive like Ashley Madison.

After a lengthy investigation I was able to determine that POF shares your profile information and pictures with various other sites. Some of the things was found that they use your information to place dummy profiles on other sites to boost their member numbers. What was staggering to find is that although match you with your criteria they also screen messages and filter out whom they choose you to be able to reach. Be cautious with the information you share and be weary of this site.

My first POF account started out of the blue and for no valid reason being locked out one day. After months of back and forth communications (most responses from pof were generic) I had found that my email address had been changed on the account by someone other than me. This still did not explain the months prior where I kept getting locked out of using messaging service. After pof did nothing to correct this I deleted the account thinking if I opened a new account the problem would resolve. So I deleted the old and started a new account. Within the first day of opening the new account I was o EC again locked out of the services for messaging that I had provided my personal I go and images to use. So this makes me question what my I go and images are being collected for if I am not being provided the service I signed up for? With this account being a few weeks old now I have had less than a day of not being locked out. Again multiple emails to customer service and generic responses telling me my account is fixed and shouldn't happen again but this allows less than an hour access and it locks out again. So is the site secure? Is my information being gathered for other purposes as I am surely not getting the access I should for the reason this info was provided in the first place? And of course no one to contact or escalate a complaint. For a tech based company this is seriously not acceptable.

When I looked there was only about 1 decent female for every 200 profiles. All the rest were low class and high drama. Every profile says the same they have great friends, independent, like music and holidays. They make no effort because they know they'll get messages

Its rammed with unattractive females with more baggage than LAX and they must think Christmas has come early getting bombarded with messages from desperate men.

These women in the outside world wouldn't get a glance yet because there's so few females and too many men on pof they start getting attention they could never dream of without online dating existing and start thinking they are a catch

Men will truly sleep with anything and this site is proof. I'd sooner be single and wait to meet someone offline

Very disappointing site. I unfortunately was an upgraded member which means I to paid for a few months. What I learned very quick was that the majority of the profiles were fake. It's very easy to tell the fake ones very quickly but once in a while one will get past you, then what usually happens is your maybe messaging someone for a few days, then just like that they stop answering messages then their profile is gone. Like I said one slipped past. To bad Nigerians and attention seekers have to wreck everything they touch! What happened to the old school way of getting a date? The search they have imbedded into the app is primarily useless your unable to narrow your search to one particular location. You see someone you like and click on message to send them an ice breaker, a window pops up and says that you aren't compatible. On the search screen there is a group of prospectives called "matches", low and behold you see the prospect you tried to email earlier but the program said you weren't a match but now it appears you are! So once again you click the message tab. Window once again pops up and says so and so is looking for a different type of person. So werent a match, now we are, then we aren't again, you should be able to message ANYONE. As of recently it's showing everyone last online time as Jan 02, I can't count how much time I wasted sending messages to people that haven't even been on for 6-8 months, I guess it's pof's way of making it look like there is a wider variety of singles out there. To sum it up, that site is a joke! Do yourself a favor and save your money!

POF is free but if my sent messages aren't being delivered what good is it? I sent out quite a few messages to various women on POF but received no replies. So as a test, I wrote them again this time asking them as a favor to just write back "YES" if they actually received my message. Well guess what? I still received no replies back! POF is a joke!

My subscription was scheduled to end on July 1. I put a note on my calendar to cancel it on July 1. When I woke up that morning, I was already billed $38.40 for a service I WILL NEVER USE. POF has ripped me off and won't refund my money. NEVER, EVER deal with this company. These people will steal your money then claim that they NEVER GIVE MONEY BACK!

Men are always asking for you to login to the What's Up app. This guy wanted my personal data - every word was I love you.
