I successfully bought a league of legends account through this site and everything worked for about 6 months, until the original owner of the account used RIOT to get their account back. The account I purchased was insured for 1 year and PlayerAuctions does not help with the refunding. I have messaged numerous people and no one responds. They just take your money and run. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM SITE!

After talking with the support about my problem, they were able to refund my money in full in the form of a playerauctions.com coupon code. The original seller had a ~98% positive rating, but wouldn't respond to anyone's messages about the problem. The support through sitejabber was very helpful and even though it took some time to resolve, I am ok with the result... as long as the same thing doesn't happen in the future. The site has it's ups and downs, but it seems like more the seller's fault than playerauctions (at least in my case)... SO BE CAREFUL

I spent 34 dollars to buy an account and I received an email with the supposed username and password but when i tried to log in, it said that the account username or password was incorrect, I then contacted a few people including the original account seller and he helped me out and gave me an ever higher rank account. He was super helpful and nice and I appreciate sellers like him.

In order to resolve this issue swiftly, I'd recommend that you message the buyer directly via our onsite messaging system, to reach an agreement. This will be the fastest way for you to get things sorted with your disbursement.
If you are unable to reach an agreement with the buyer, the case will be escalated to our Dispute Resolution team, and they will follow up with you directly.

Always trust this site, they protect buyers and sellers. Never had an issue. Support is a little slow now without live chat though sadly. Bring it back and make it great again.
Their customer support is 299% garbage. The fact that there is a PA rep replying to reviews on this website and trying to "resolve" the issues on here is proof their customer support doesn't work. You can probably search high, low, far, and wide on the internet and their $#*!ty customer support cannot be rivaled. When your transactions go smoothly it's a good website but, as soon as you run into a problem you're $#*!ed if you think you are getting any help from their "customer service".

Already sent a charge to my bank account to verify that I was the owner and now they want me to send pictures of my ID, card, and a payment receipt on top of that in an online document. No thanks. Going overboard. Probably just going to cancel my purchase. Seems now that I've already been charged even though I have not submitted that info. When our payment processor detects a new credit card, we will charge (less than $1) a small amount to your credit card. After that, please check your payment account online to get the value. That's a different verification from our payment verification.
We have the payment verification process for the safety of our buyers and sellers. We want to ensure that the payments we have received come from the account owners themselves. As a result, we may need to go through different verification steps depending on your order, payment method and account history. This request may be different from the previous order because orders are checked individually and independently.
Please note that from the time you check out, the payment will already get charged. If you ever, cancel this order. No worries, because refund will process soonest. If it does note let you cancel the order, please send an email to [email protected] and then indicate the Order ID as your subject, attach a screenshot of the error message. Then they'll be the one who will cancel your order.

I was supposed to get paid a couple of days ago but it never happened. This site is mostly for scammers trying to make a quick buck. I'm still waiting on playerauctions to pay me. It seems that my account has been disabled as well as I cannot log in.
