Had an appointment at North Smithfield Petsmart for 4pm. I arrived 10 minutes late with my children after school after a 30 minute drive to get there. The Pet Grooming Manager said, since we were late we lost our appointment. We asked if she could make an exception seeing we drove so long to get there but there was "nothing she could do". Seemed like she wanted to get out of there but they do not make exceptions. I guess its my fault for being 10 minutes late. If you book your pet there, don't be a minute late our you are wasting your time. Good Luck

Took my maltese to petsmart for a haircut the lady took my little maltese then told me you can pick her up in an hr or 2 dont worry, I said ok I will come back (I thought it strange she almost insisted I leave though) I went off to shop have a coffee etc
Came back to get my dog... I was not happy with the way she looked - she was
HOT PINK, they shaved her fur off too close so the skin was red hot. NEXT DAY the dog started to develope HUGE purple spots under her skin and I mean dark purple... she was bleeding under her skin. Also she was in great pain if you just touched her skin at all... I WAS HORRIFIED, took her to vet he said she got a real bad haircut and was bleeding under her skin... they gave her all sorts of treatment to stop bleeding she began to get more purple spots - Dr said he gave her things to help take her home if she gets worse call them. That weekend she
Became critical started to stroke out head shaking - BLOOD IN URINE COULD NOT WALK TO EVEN GET UP TO PEE NXT DAY SHE DIED.
I WAS HEARTBROKEN CALLED PETSMART THEY WOULD NOT EVEN TALK TO ME THEN AFTER I CALLED 20 TIMES THEY SAID OK SO WE WILL PAY FOR THE DOGS BURIAL EXPENSES. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR DOG TO THESE DANGEROUS LUNATICS AT PETSMART FOR GROOMING THEY HIRE PEOPLE WHO HATE DOGS AND MISTREAT THEM AND KILL THEM THEN WONT EVEN ACCEPT RESPONSIBLILITY. PETSMART DOG KILLERS KEEP AWAY!

I go to the PetSmart in Onalaska, WI. Love going there and love to pet the other dogs that come in there to shop. Staff are generally pretty good and well educated but there was one clerk a few years ago that was nasty a lot of the time. Glad I don't see that one anymore around there. I like that they have a little place near building where the dogs can go potty during the visit to the store. That's convenient for the dogs. Mine usually has to go potty while there. Though I don't bring her in every time I go there if I just have to shop for dog food. I'll bring her in though if I shop for other stuff though if I don't want to do a quick run in and out of the building and I plan on staying for a bit. Love the layout of the store, nice staff, and always clean.

If Pet Smart still uses Banfield DONT EVER BRING YOU PET THERE! They killed my Healthy eight year old Beagle, in Florida. He had a little lump removed. They told me to pick him up at 5pm. When I went back, they said he messed himself in cage? To come back in two hours! I said I want to see my dog, they refused saying he was in a sterile environment and would be fine. I came back now 7pm! The assistant called me over and said they overdosed my dog on anesthesia, she begged me not to tell or she would lose her job. My dogs gait was off and on the way home he started having seizures! He never had one before. Two weeks later he was dead. He never got back to the healthy state he was BEFORE I BROUGHT HIM IN FOR A SIMPLE PROCEDURE! I couldn't prove it as the girl who told me was gone the same week!

I took my 8 month old Shihtzu to petsmart to be groomed and bathed. My regular groomer was booked. I showed the groomer a pic of what I wanted my dog to look like; we agreed she needed a 1/2 inch cut. I told her to please cut all around the face very short too. She then said it would take 3 hrs... my mouth dropped open. My regular groomer has her done in one hour. So I left and came back when she was done- 2 hrs 15 min later. She looked AWFUL! Her body fur looked choppy and uneven. Plus def not cut to 1/2 inch. They trimmed her ears and looks like they didn't touch her face. It's all long and scraggly. She doesn't smell like she had a bath, but she's soft. I was charged almost $60, took over 2 hrs all for a totally crappy job. I will never take my dog back there for grooming and I will be telling everyone I know don't go there for grooming.

I had 2 of my dogs groomed at this location for the past 3 years. Now they are not taking both of my dogs because they are saying one of them have "aggression". If they are not fully trained to groom a dog that is not comfortable getting groomed, then they are not qualified in my opinion. Both of my dogs, probably like any other dogs, can be uncomfortable getting groomed. I do not think it is fair for them not to groom by dogs. My dogs are perfectly normal like any other dogs. I am very upset that they are doing this to my dogs and this needs to be mentioned to upper management.

Let me start by saying times are hard and for some of us who don't have children who have animals instead they are our life with that being said caring for them can be quite expensive. And I have 3 rescue dogs that I love more than life it self. And I do all my shopping at Petsmart which can be expensive so I was super ecstatic when I opened up my email today to get a coupon for a free bag of science diet which completely made my day you guys are awesome thank you for all that you do for our community. While shopping for a cat carrier, I found a really cute duffle bag like carrier. It was ideal but the packaging was the problem since it was torn, seemed as if someone had already mishandled it. So I did what any normal person would do. I went up to one of the employees and asked if they had any new ones in the storage. He looked at the item and asked if there were any others on the shelf I said no then he said no that they were all sold out, not even bothering to take a look in the back. I was bummed plus I really needed the carrier so I purchased it thinking it was the "last one". I came back the next day for some cat wipes, while passing through the same aile where I picked up the carrier I saw that there was at least 7 new packaged carriers, all the same to the torn one I had purchesed the day before! Then if that wasn't enough to get me upset I see the same LYING A*S employee! What's more upsetting is the fact that if I'm going to purchase something and pay full price for it I expect it to be in great condition or "NEW" like any item you purchase from a store. Really disappointed in Petsmart if that's the type of employees they are hiring!

Ordering here is nice. I often treat my cat with some sort of food from this shop. It's not that expensive and even more affordable than buying offline.
