She worked for 3+ days to secure and ship a medication for my 15-year-old Chocolate Lab that is hard to find, yet imperative to keep Scout comfortable and her tumor at bay. LACK OF COMMUNICATION:
They didn't notify me that they were unable to get my vet to respond to their requests for a prescription. For a week, while my dog suffered in pain, I was thinking her pain meds order was in process. I had to call PetCareRX to check the status of my order, which is when I found out that my vet had not responded to them. PetCareRX could've informed me, especially as I had signed up with their PetPlus memberhip ($99).
SERIOUSLY SLOW FREE SHIPPING (21 DAYS):
Ordered ear mite and worming tablets on March 2. It's now March 20 and I'm still waiting for them to arrive. Tracking details tell me eta is March 23. I don't expect Amazon-like shipping speed, but if something is going to take the best part of a month to get to me, I believe they should inform me. They didn't. I've had to go buy ear mite/dog worming tablets from Pet Smart, which is what I should've done in the first place. Now, I have products arriving from PetCareRX that I no longer need, because THEY forced me into a situation where I had to find an alternative solution because they couldn't get product to me in less than 21 days.
Horrible experience. I regret signing up for their Membership. Don't do it, until you've had a good experience from them first, would be my advice.
I know I can kiss goodbye to my $99, but that's the price I have to pay for trusting what they said.
I have been a member of PetRX for over 2 years. I have called customer service many times. Each time I have called for any reason, the employees are terrific at explaining their products, and solve any issue that I am dealing.

They claim to guarantee you will save money or your money back but its a lie. Their plan's 'savings' ARE NOT 50-70% off as they advertised on the phone and are actually the the same as the coupons listed all over their website. And they will not refund you if you are unhappy under no circumstance. They even replied by email to contact my bank to dispute it if I'd like, that there will be no refund on their end. I will never be shopping with this dishonest company again

I ordered on 12/17 because they were the only online source that had the size of the medicine I needed. They shipped on 12/22. The medicine was not delivered until 1/8. I had one dose left. They blamed the USPS and Christmas and then after seven days promised to ship a replacement bottle overnight. I trusted they would so did not try to make other arrangements. They did not and I almost ran out of medicine that is necessary on a daily basis to prevent a trip to the emergency vet for my elderly dog. Do not believe anything they say. If you choose to do business with them, order well in advance so you do not jeopardize your pet's health. I am desperately sorry that I took the risk.

Generally shipping only take 1-4 business days or so but given The current situations with Covid and the holidays there are been recent delays from the carriers longer then usual. Customer Service has been excellent(especially Ashley). I signed up for the club membership and was promised significant savings. I don't usually join these type of things, but the way it was explained to me, it would pay for itself, in my next order of flea, tick & heartworm medication. I haven't seen my credit card bill yet, so can't give 5 stars, yet. The only minor complaint would be that instead of 1-2 day shipping that the previous place that I ordered from offered, it will be 5-7 days. However, with the club membership, there is no minimum purchase for free shipping. I will update this review after I have more experience with this company.

Generally shipping only takes 2-3 days or so but given the current circumstance of the nation and the holidays, its taking the longer end of up to 7 business days. I am very disappoint with PetCareRx because I payed membership to have my dog medication every month with a good price and auto delivery but it isn't happen! My dog medication to heart is vetmedin 2.5mg (because my dog use 1.25mg in the morning and 1.25mg in the night) but always is out of stock and the PetCareRx never let me know! Autoship is to be delivered every month, but this isn't happen and I no have any messenger about the medication is out of stock. Sometimes vetmedin 1.25 mg is available but I can buy only 30 pills in the PetCareXR (but I need 60 in the month because my dog use 2.5mg in the day and Always I need call to customer service (20 min in the line or more to someone talk with me) and I pay $20 extra for this medication than normally. When they release, because they often don't release and I have to buy every 15 days, when it's in stock). I went back to paying twice the price buying at my dog's vet, but with the certainty that my dog will not be without medicine!

Hi Michelle, thank you so much for your feedback. We completely understand your frustration. Would like to just give you some more information particularly on the Vetmedin as we generally do not have an issue with stocking medications. Due to Covid guidelines, this manufacturer has been having production concerns and therefore there is a nationwide shortage for a few months now causing it to go into a manufacture backorder all over. We have been doing our best with getting as much stock as we can get our hands on to fulfill our customers orders but the manufacture shortage is out of our hands. As a result to ensure all of our customers get their current meds for their fur babies we have limited a 30 pill purchase at a time. Once this item goes into out of stock an email is sent to all customers with autoshipments to advise you we cannot fill any future autoshipment orders and you will be notified when its available again to place a new order and reschedule your autoshipments. If you havent recieved this email please provide me with your email address so I can further look into this matter. Again we cannot confirm your future autoshipments will be filled for this particular medication given the manufacture concern. We wish there was more we can do to help and we know how frustrating this can be. We will do our best to fulfill our fur babies orders as stock comes in.
I had a question about Petplus and PetCareRx and I spoke to Theresa who was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. She assisted in correcting the email, explained how Petcare Rx worked and allowed me to voice my concerns. She's awesome!

Answer: PetPlus is a scam. You pay $50 a year and pay top dollar if you use your local pharmacy! Stay away. Go on goodrx.com and save money and $50 membership!

Answer: It's trustworthy, a prescription is needed, but dealing with medications taking forever to ship, or having some type of issue with refills has been a continued problem. That is the most frustrating thing about this company.
