Terrible service to sellers. ETERNAL processes for fund management. If you are concerned about the delivery time, look for another company.
This company is slow to respond to tickets and when they respond they have no idea of the impact their delays have on their buyers. Find Freelancer elsewhere

I am a freelancer. I did a job for a buyer (read scammer) and submitted it on time; I submitted all the requested files. However, once I issued the invoice (the price was Euro 750), the buyer rejected my invoice and provided me with illogical reasons.

Once I attempted to raise a dispute, PPH asked me to pay Euro 75 in order for me to be able to raise a dispute.

Once I opened a ticket, they mentioned this is a rule that you need to pay for dispute. And they did not reply me anymore.

PPH seems to be turn out to be a scammer. And they cannot protect the freelancers.

Then, I decided not to make any contract in PPH anymore; Upwork is much better than PPH and they protect both freelancers and buyers.

I have been with them for many years and last few years they just scamming people, they never provide proof if there is an issue and just say we returned the money to the buyer, when asking the buyer or he got the money back... answer is NO... they steal your money i see many reviews here that have the same problem, Peopleperhour is a complete scam, expensive and inexperience staff, speaking to the support is like speaking to a brick wall, useless, annoying, irritating and you leave without a solution, they not willing to help at all, when you stuck with a buyer, they just send pre made messages and when they make you angry for the last 30 minutes with the same messages, you say something about it and they say do not be abusive and close the chat, good excuse to close the chat and drop you, while in the first place they keep on sending the same messages and is their doing they make you angry, because they do not help you in anyway, i can only say stay away from it... if you want a peaceful life, there are many other good platforms and they do help you and have staff with the descent brain cells, people per hour is just a scam company all it is... many fake reviews from people i see, standard reviews that you can buy

They are a very bad company, avoid them at every cost, due to my paying $ 1 for feature profile service there were able to have access to my card number and without my permission took $ 50 and still claimed I made the purchase, firstly be money was removed around 00:16 on a Saturday and during this time I did not even visit the website nor buy anything, I did not even get any notification. Not only that I have been trying to contact them through email and they have been ignoring me.

After giving 20percent fees and waiting for 14 days payment release period then waiting for extra 2 days for payment release to Payoneer, I still haven't got the payment.
I won't recommend PPH to anyone. Just imagine, you don't get the payment still after waiting 16 days

I was using their platform as a designer from actually the start of when they started. I even knew people that worked there. I find their process deceptive. The jobs on their are so low quality. While they are a uk site, it is not uk friendly and they heavily modify reviews which you leave about your experience on trust pilot. The fees they charge are too high. What are they actually doing with that money? Oh yeah they have their adminstrators take down genuine user ecpereiences of their shoddy site.

Expensive for buyers and expensive for sellers, support that is brainless a platform you do not want to be on unless you like headache and annoying staff, so many GOOD freelance platforms out there peopleperhour is not good at all that are *******% better, Peopleperhour does NOT listen to it's members it is badly managed STAY AWAY

I just joined the platform a week ago. Set up my PayPal acct. To get paid. Well, a fraud alert recently popped up from my bank for an unauthorized $350 charge from their international website services. My fraud team tried to stop the charge and reverse it... but were unsuccessful... still working on it. PPH are downright crooks that will steal your money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Not going to advertise the other platform I use now, but after spending over $5k with PPH as a customer, I'm totally out of there. Lying scammers. Purchased an offer from the most expensive ($200) logo designer telling her straight away that it's not my first attempt to get what I need (paid $40 to the first designer) and only take the job if she can deliver. After the first preview, I realized that she doesn't listen to her customer so the result was MUCH worse than $40 option. Since her listing said "100% satisfaction or money back" I kindly asked for a cancelation. She refused. After a week of wasting time on messaging her and PPH admins, I got out robbed. They delivered ZERO results, zero customer satisfaction, and PPH still gave her my money. On the other platform, I got the project delivered in 3 days with 8 (eight, not one) options to choose from for $50. Don't touch PPH, it stinks. And that's not my only negative experience for a few years of using them. That's the one where I had enough.

This is by far the worst website for any freelancer. Highly unprofessional and over complicated. They do not deserve to have a platform for freelancers and they should be banned from doing so. They constantly reject your description when you attempt to post an offer or your services. I updated my description about 10 times and it was never approved. Thus, I deleted my account within 24 hours. They are horrible and should be shut down permanently without the benefit of restoration. They deserve the one star I gave them.

I posted a simple project on Peoplerhour on 22-09-2021 and received many replies one guy named Mohammed Kamra approached me and we started discussing about my project. After a brief discussion he accepted my project for $ 55 and I made a payment to PPH $62 including PPH commission. Again after two days that guy approached me and said due to some personal emergiencies he'll not be able to do my project and suggested me to release $ 10 and give good review about him then he'll release my $ 45 back (all the conversation can be seen in attached pictures) I refused to do so because my wrong review will surely misguide someone. After almost 2 month I reported this guy several time to the PPH and asked them to return my money which is still in ESCROW account neither they are returning my money nor they have taken any action on the guy, he is still showing as the top 5 people on PPH. Finally I can say PPH are cheater and supporting cheaters.

At all costs avoid this site. If you are a freelancer even if you use their escrow service after the client is happy with your work and releases the funds you will wait 16 days to be paid. They claim it takes them 14 days to run security checks which in this day and age is nonsense, this reeks of an excuse to earn interest on your money evn though they already take nearly 25% of your total fee. Then you will wait 48 hours for your payment after withdrawing. These are new rules they implemented with very little notice.

If you are a customer they will not protect you against bad freelancers either.

Customer service are nonsulant and really don't care much about either the freelancers or the customers.

Avoid at all costs. I left a review for them on trustpilot and they complained that my review wasn't genuine!

They go to any length to scam and lie.

Avoid this website… there are far more professional and better platforms out there.

To get your work done for free on peopleperhour it is very simple just simply get you job done and when your job is done ask for refund, and if your refund is rejected send some message to the buyer and ask for the refund again and this time your refund will be approved, Enjoy,

PPH has turned into a trash. The new payment policy is so frustrating if not just anoying. To fellow freelancers, please avoid working for new clients. You'll send an invoice after work, which the client will approve, only to be rejected by PPH with claims that the client hasn't verified his/her account. If it's a must then work with them outside PPH platform. I'm so disgusted that my hard earned money takes 14 days to be cleared then I have to wait for another 48hours for my withdrawal request to be processed. I'm off to Fiverr.com. They have a good payment policy.

They Steal my money, after wait 14 days to receive my payment they never paid. Scam! I worked so hard to complete the service.

1.14 days wait to withdraw.
2. Then 3 to 7 days wait to receive transfer.
3. £20 direct transfer charge.
4. PPH retain 25% of your money permanently only for "internal use".

Lots of bad clients, low paid jobs. EVEN WORSE: now the site is requiring 2 weeks+ for you to get paid for a completed job. I used to recommend this site for freelances because it had some good aspects but I can no longer do so.
