Person VUE
June 6, 2022

Do not take tests with them online. I took Comptia Security+, the test ended on the second question because I mumbled something, I did not speak during my only 3 minutes of the test. The proctor from India stopped the exam. I called customer service, which was the worst. I could not understand what they were saying due to the thick accent and I got disconnected 4 times. Finally, when I got a person to talk they could not help me. I received the e-mail address for the company to state my complaint but nothing else. The whole thing feels like a scam to me. I lost my money...

Poor Customer Service
February 16, 2022

Called *******587 on 2/16/22 11:35am and the Customer Service, the female that answered the phone was unprofessional, laughing as she picked up the phone and again during the phone conversation, as I was following up on Students that have not received their test dates. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she proceeded to hang up on me.

Almost scam
December 13, 2021

Used Preason Vue online proctored exam for Microsoft; assessor terminated my exam for - as he stated - connectivity issues (i did not have as i could succeffully read messages and proceed through questions).
The assessor stated to have filed this for me so I could get my money back. Moreover, a subsequent call to customer service confirmed this incidend was raised to the respective teams.

I followed up via email to ask for compensation/let them retake me the exam without further cost.

End of story: response to my mail: Your exam was successfully deliverd, we did not find any errors. We are unable to recompensate.

Try to avoid them if possible. Not worth the money.

This is going to be a rant, so only read if you like rants: P
I spoke with a representative to schedule a test for work; she scheduled me for the wrong date. I had a lot of trouble understanding her (and clearly vice versa) as she was not a native speaker; Pearson doesn't hire native speakers because it's more expensive. When I looked through my emails to confirm the time a few weeks later I saw the mistake and tried to fix it, but it was too late. Pearson informed me they couldn't help me reschedule my test, and the testing agency (ASCP) told me it was my fault and that I would have to pay an additional $200 to sign up to take a online automatically graded test certifying me to be a medical diagnostics technologist. Currently the job I have pays me about $15 an hour (I have a master's degree in STEM, another rip off) and $200 is just too much. The people working for human resources at these companies can't possibly understand that as (1) they are in human resources and (2) they are greedy, lazy and unethical thieves. Luckily for me I just got a job I prefer and don't have to take the test after all, but I wanted to take it since I've been studying for it for months, and I SHOULD have been able to.
I already had experience with Pearson in the past, first as a student when they started adding online codes to books to make them more expensive. Later as a content developer I wrote content for them under contract. They paid very little for writing content that they made a great deal of money from, to the extent of preferring poorly written content with questionable accuracy. We eventually lost our contracts as it was never cheap enough, probably sent that overseas too. But I guess cheap and poorly made is what everyone wants these days.

Worst company I've ever dealt with. The website does not list any phone number so I have to search google to find the customer service. All customer service agents are in india so their English is very hard to understand. It is taking at 1 hour before someone pick up the phone. Not to mention when they disconnect you all the time for no reason, so you have to call back again and wait another hour.
I was scheduled to take ACAMS online exam on Dec 6,2020 at 1:30 PM. I already checked the system a day before and it was fine, but when I take the exam, it's giving me error message so I couldn't take it.
I called the customer service and initially one guy named "Sam" said he's going to reschedule me for Dec 7,2020 at 6:30PM. After 15 minutes unsuccessful trying, suddenly he changed his statement that it is against company policy to reschedule. WTH? So he asked me to email customer service for help. I told him that tomorrow Dec 7 is the last day I can take the exam and I am willing to pay the penalty to take the exam, but he doesn't care then eventually hung up on me. I called again asking for supervisor, after 30 minutes waiting, he said the supervisor is not available but he can ask supervisor to call me back. They never called me back and I've never received a response from the customer service via email as he instructed. The next day on Dec 7, I called again and they told me to call a different number: *******023. So I called this number and waited an hour until someone answers, then before she finish verifying my identity, she hung up.
It doesn't make sense that they're not letting me reschedule because I still have time until Dec 7 to take the test. It seems like all the care is taking your money and get away with it. No customer service what so ever.

Seemed to work well, didn't crash and I passed my course. Occasionally had to restart the whole thing when I had to stop and resume it at a later date,
