I was going to take the Azure Fundamentals exam and checked in on time. This process requires you to take photos of your workspace and ID. I'm disabled and wasn't able to get up to go get my Driver's License, so I took a photo of a photo using my web cam and phone. It took me 20 minutes to get these photos due to my disability (Cerebral Palsy). The photo clearly showed my photo, and was denied to take the test! Microsoft needs to take another look at this company. There are people in this world who physically can't take pictures, and there needs to be procedures in place to account for that! If anybody from Microsoft happens to read this, please take another look at this company.
I wish i can give them less than 1. After a stressfull exam you have to deal with this screwed up service, i never received my scorecard i called them and they repeatedly said to me it has been sent. Nothing, logged into my dashboard nothing there. Its the most disgusting, unprofessional and wastage of time service i really dont understand... how they even exist.
I've used Pearson Vue for 5 tests and 2 reviews and every time there has been an issue. The customer service is terrible and no one can actually help you, they just give you an email for customer service.
Then you just pray that someone will answer and actually be able to help.
My last test they told me I failed, they said I needed a 70% to pass, I got a 75% and they failed me.
I told them there was a mistake and they said they couldn't help me.
They are never consistent with what they say and will make you pay more and wait weeks at a time when you should be able to test again a few days after.
I'm trying to start my new job but still waiting for my license since they said I failed, even though I have the proof that I got a 75%.
If there are ANY other options for test taking, USE THEM! Don't use Pearson Vue!
They Said I left testing screen during my exam and I did not. They cannot provide me video of me during exam despite recording me! I was robbed I did not chest on my online proctored exam!
The first time I tried to take an exam with them (remotely), I was not able to get into the system and the test didn't load. A human was supposed to greet me and make sure everything was working properly. No one did. I couldn't find any kind of number within the part of their website I was allowed to be in while checking in for my exam. I had to get out of that part of the website and do a Google search for their support number. By the time I was able to do that, the test window had expired. I'm still waiting for my money back from that one.
So I rescheduled (having to pay a second time). I had previously applied for accommodations for a disability. I said I needed to have access to a calculator, a piece of paper, and a pencil and eraser. I was told that I didn't need special authorization for the calculator because they are allowed by the agency I was taking the test for, and I was told that I could provide my own.
So I'm checking in for the second attempt and the proctor was adamant that I wasn't allowed to have the calculator. She said I needed to apply for accommodations if I wanted to have a calculator. I told her I DID apply for accommodations and was told that I didn't need authorization to use a calculator. I even offered to send her the email in which I was told I could have a calculator. She wouldn't budge. AT NO POINT did anyone tell me that there is a calculator app inside the testing platform.
This is one of the most unprofessional, uncaring, and excrementitious business entities I've ever encountered.
This company is horrible, to say the least! I studies for months, paid over $500 for a test. The monitor from Pearson Vue abruptly ended my test. He said I could whisper questions to myself, which I did, and he logged me off after 35 minutes of a 3 hours test, which of course, passing was an impossibility, due to I didn't answer most of the questions. Companies that use Pearson Vue look very bad! Pearson Vue is a reflection on them! Unprofessional, and just down right horrible!
Worst customer service, the agents do not know anything to resolve. I was trying to connect to the exam as per the proactor agents suggestion, and the exam link was expired. I connected with the technical team, all they did was to create a case in 40 mins call. They haven't provided me any resolution, i had to explain them 3-4 times with my profile details and they disconnect the call at times they have no resolution.
Not sure what kinda support is this for important exams like these.
Worst service ever.
They canceled my exam without cause. All attempts to contact them were met with form emails and BS excuses. It's a scam. 0/10 don't use this service.
Amazon should be embarrassed at how terrible Pearson VUE is. Their registration process is impossible. I couldn't download the software because they said I had apps open, that even Geek Squad could not find. I wasted 2 hours of my time when I could have been studying. Finally I gave up on online testing, and I registered for an in person test at the nearby university.
I was on the phone with this company for 7 hours total over a series of 12 hours. I can confidently say for not one of those minutes were the people from Pearson Vue helpful. My exam was cancelled due to unprecedented circumstances and instead of them helping reschedule, I instead had to endure several excruciating hours explaining the situation to dozens of people. I was transferred to so many different departments that all told me that they couldn't help me reschedule (which is their job). The people from the service desks also did not know how to do their job standardly as every single person would tell me a different thing. Not only was I transferred like crazy, I was also hung up on multiple times. Two days later I called again hoping to reschedule however as soon as they heard I was one of the people from the cancelled exam date, they told me their server was down. I can not imagine a company with a worse customer service desk. Please be careful before booking exams through Pearson Vue.
If you don't want your time wasted just go in person. Proctors are strict and sometimes will not have any reasoning. Note move phone to next room & don't leave the screen. I don't think they want you to move lol. It's a waste of money
I tried to cancel my test and receive a refund but could not do it myself due to the credit card being cancelled due to fraudulent behaviour online. When I called the customer service line, I was on hold for over 45 minutes long distance only for nothing to be solved. DO NOT TAKE A TEST using this service. No refund offered, only 'Please allow me to put your call on hold for another 3-5 minutes'. Very frustrating! I wish I could give a 0 rating.
This company is just cheated me out of £279 CompTIA security plus exam.my exam was revoked with no warning when my little son entered the room during my exam. They have refused to allow me to rewrite my exam so be carful people when writing an IT exams with this company in charge.
They have some of the worst service and customer service. They scammed me out of $200 saying I left an exam when I never left the camera. After 2 weeks of escalating they will not do anything.
Call centers are in India and are hard to understand and frustrating to get thru to.
We need options on where to call to for regional assistance.
No one at pearsonvue seems to have an interest in correcting this customer service problem.
They have poor customer service. I've literally spoken with several agents and they've all hassled me. I just need them to email my my info and they will not.
I booked one of the Microsoft certification exam through pearsonVUE. Due to some technical issues I had to reschedule my exam. They created a case so I contacted PearsonVUE. One of the CSR confirmed the name of the exam to reschedule, the day and time (which was the next day) and all the other details to verify. Instead of the one she confirmed the details for, the CSR rescheduled one of my other Microsoft exam which was due in weeks time and for which I was not prepared. The time left to sort the whole issue out was less than 24 hrs so they said they can't do anything but adviced that I have to rebook the exam.
I did everything I could to fight but they blamed me for the whole situation and adviced me to rebook the exam spending more money. The company didn't care about test takers and didn't even accept their wrong act, infact they completely shut me down. They didn't help me in order to resolve their own created issue. It is completely unfair and disappointing. I had the worst experience.
Checked in 30 minutes early, Was kicked to the back of the queue 4 times, while reading the introduction, apparently my proctor said I wasn't visible 2 times, got 17 questions deep, and he revoked my test, saying I was leaning continuously. I essentially lost $400 for "leaning too much". SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT! IF YOU ARE READING THIS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE YOUR TEST AT A TESTING CENTER!
