There is no option at Paytm help and support to describe if the user is not able to pay to the merchant with his wallet balance. The customer care number is busy for 21 mins and after connecting the person Mr. Tosif Raza does not understand the problem and repeatedly ask to submit it on help and support where no such option is available.He cannot understand the problem at all. When asked him to let me speak to his seniors he kept me on hold for 10 mins and then said the seniors were busy and cannot talk to me. He denied that he wont be able to help me in any manner and simply wasted my 45-50 mins. Its better to make transactions from other modes so that the money does not get stuck. I have loaded 3200 INR to pay to two merchants but cannot pay them and the support do not have any option for the same. FYI I have complete my KYC few days back.

I added money to Paytm by credit card to send to a friend but money is added as a Paytm gift voucher. Now I cannot use this money anywhere else other than Paytm store. All this without even informing me where my money is going. They can slap banners all over their app when they need our personal information (KYC) but they cannot share this little detail with us when they change their policy? Even a simple notification would have sufficed, but nothing from their side. The money is now stuck in the voucher and is non transferable. These are the kind of shady practices that make such companies lose their customer base. I will never use Paytm in the future and would also like to urge other users to DO NOT USE THIS APP and NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

I want to add money to paytm wallet and unknowingly it got added to paytm gift voucher. Then i called so called 24*7 customer care(wallet department) where i waited almost for an hour to get a response. Finally they picked my call and i explained in detail the above scenario. He(customer care executive listened to me) and was saying only one word i. E we can't transfer it back to your account once payment has been made to wallet through credit card. So i asked him few questions were he doesn't have an answer.
1)Why do you allow to transfer to wallet through credit card?(you should have a pop-up saying you cant make this transfer in red). He say's that my paytm app is not updated. So is the previous version of paytm app released without testing?
2)Why does the money directly go into paytm gift voucher?(you should have blocked the transfer instead). I know this is the way to increase your paytm sales and usage of app)
3) When i was waiting for customer care to answer my call, I was just checking ways to get back my money. I just selected two seats(Movie tickets) and clicked on proceed. It automatically deducted amount from paytm gift voucher(Paytm strategy).
Finally when you talk to customer care representative by wasting almost two hours of your time and 1000 rs. They will only say: 'Sorry sir, You have to use 1000 rs of your gift voucher'.

I'm taking time to write such a big review so that it can be helpful to someone like me.

I had very bad experience with paytm I am using last four years Paytm I booked ticket from Paytm Srinagar to Chandigarh return with travel insurance last week indigo flight call me for flights cancel information and give me some other options for travel other day then I write a message for paytm and write a simple msg ( my indigo flight cancel this is msg give by indigo) and they after yesterday's paytm cancel my ticket and say sorry we can't help u when I told the customer care and say this email sand by u sorry we can't help u it's very bad experience
