Paypal is an illegitimate service, you will get nowhere when you call, but rest assured they get thier percentage and offer no legitimate service, not anymore.
They make it hard to upload proof then close your case they protect the seller not the purchaser I will never use them again I lost just a out 100 dollars lesson learned
I tried to cancel an item ordered that took more than a month to process. 3 days after I asked to cancel, they sent the item anyway telling me to just return it after I got it. When I received it and tried to return it they wouldn't allow me to. They wouldn't give me an address to return to. PayPal was no help at all they said I received the item case closed. They never bothered to read my dispute. I have all the emails with the company and tracking I formation to prove that they had not shipped the item when I told them to cancel. I will have to limit my PayPal use from now on. I trusted them to take care of their consumers but it's the other way around. They take care of the businesses. Not my kind of company to do business with any more
They will randomly decide to freeze a Payment for 21 days.
When you try to contact them about it you won't be able to get a real person.
They will set you up on a chat and the minute you about get where you need to be and get some answers the screen pops up you have 40 seconds left to protect your account we need to delete the conversation now.
I've called eight times over $320, I have actually made contact with someone through messaging three times and all three have told me something different.
I've had my account for years and I've never had a charge back or problem, there have been no changes in my account... none of the criteria for freezing my money apply.
At this point it's not a desperate situation that I have this money but I will never use them again because it's my money and I should be able to get it when I want it, not when their computer decides to freeze it.
The other problem with PayPal is nobody regulates them, and there is nothing you can do but go through their Awful system that just gives you the runaround.
We are in a crisis and I am a small business owner. I have excellent Google reviews and very happy customers. I've been growing so my transactions have been larger amounts. I had $15,000 in PayPal I was going to transfer to my bank, it's frozen. I can't touch any of MY money. I can't pay my help, I can't pay my vendors, the Corona virus breaks out. The call center completely shut down. I reach someone on the computer, submit my invoices and all of my info. No deal. They're holding my money for 180 days. This is going to put me out of business! DO NOT EVER USE PAYPAL!
I've been looking around for a lead solution for my office for close to a year now. In the past to use Pillow and was OK but it's from expensive. I was introduced to pay pal by one of my partners and I'm glad that we made the decision to move forward.
PayPal advertises consumer protection but it's non existent. Don't think by using PayPal you are protected. This company will side with the seller even if they ship you junk knock offs when they advertised brand names. Use PayPal with caution, you are not protected.
Had a buddy send me money through PayPal for some work done at his home... 10 days later PayPal still has a "hold" on my money! They took their fee and have now been collecting interest on my money for 10 days... STAY AWAY!
I used PayPal a lot. Was very happy with their service. But I ordered a locker for my jeep online and never received it. Paid for it with my PayPal charge account. The email for the saler is no good. Can't get ahold of him. PayPal pretty much blow me off. They put it on my credit report that I disputed the charge negatively affecting my credit They are helping this guy steal money from people
If there wasn't such a service, it should have been invented. Excellent protection against dishonest sellers.

Paypal intentionally holds your money so they can reap the benefits of interest! They have held my funds for 21DAYS! The invoice is for services rendered. If you have ANY OTHER OPTION use it

I invoiced my client last month and was charged $34, but I received my funds immediately. This month I invoiced the same client and immediately received and email from Paypal stating the funds will be on hold for 21 days because this is a new account (FALSE) and to protect the buyer and seller.
I contacted Paypal via chat because they are short staffed per their phone line. During the chat the rep told me the same thing. So, Paypal wasn't protecting the buyer and seller last month but this month they decide to protect us both, ha!
They're not good to use for business. My funds are needed immediately in order for me to run a successful business. I cannot afford a vendor holding my funds when they see fit. I'm sure next month it will be a different reason for them to do something faulty. I would agree with this if this was in writing day one when I sent the first invoice.
I am very disappointed with PayPal.
I was hoping that using PayPal would be convenient and easy. But there is nothing convenient about it when you have to wait 21 days for your money.

While that money left my customer account, PayPal claims that they need to investigate and hold it for 14 days (first email from PayPal) and now 21 days (2nd email)

For buyers, PayPal may be great, providing buyer protection, smooth transaction, and good customer service. But for sellers, PayPal are extremely rude and mean, and often ban your account that and take your money away for half a year without any reason, just saying your risk is high? Will never recommend people to use it.
Paypal have locked my account after having it for years, wanting all my personal documents, licence, rates, electricity bill, medicare info etc etc, well paypal can shove their website and services, im not giving out every single personal information online to anyone, as we all have been taught, dont give personal info out on line and i wont, thats enough personal info they are asking for to go open a bank account in Australia, well good bye paypal i dont need yous. Lost a customer, if everyone does this, they will have no business.
So I have anxiety never used PayPal before everything confusing. So I called customer service to explain how to send money and everything but what I didn't know was I had my old card up there before I was robbed so I completely forgot it didn't work I have bad memories anyways. I was sending this person money with the wrong card but I fixed the mistake and put the right card up. Then i asked for refund back because PayPal didnt explain certain things to me because they werent trained enough for this. That's not my problem JUST GIVE ME. I received an email saying my credit card was about to expire, so I logged in and tried to enter the new Expiration Date and my New Address, but the system failed saying "Unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later." After many failed attempts, I then removed the card and then tried to Add a New Card, using the same credit card information, but then the system said "Invalid Credit Card." I then tried calling and after the system hung up on me the first time, I called back, and after a long wait and entering validation codes twice, I chatted with a rep, who then sent me another validation Code, and then as I was entering the Code, the system Timed out saying, I had 60 seconds to respond. But every time I entered a number the clock came back with a lower number and a new screen, until it timed out and then hung up on me! PayPal, you really have a lot of bugs in your system, to the point of me looking for another online merchant.
It was the good payment method I love it Paypal is the owner of the best International mountain spa method I am personally suggest the use paper card

I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.

Answer: USPS delievered it to the wrong address my pacakge was supposed to be delievered too 35710 Bay Morgan Ln, Fallbrook, CA 92028 when USPS delivered it to an address simillar to this one 12354 Alcatal Street (do not know the exact address since they did not email me, but you can call USPS and ask, and that is how I found out) Fallbrook, CA 92028, right city and zip code, far away address.
Answer: I'm thinking someone has to work there, if you send messages you will get a canned reply, I get the same response from 10 messages, basically "suck it up buttercup, you have just been played" but if you try to actually talk to a person good luck.
