The overall reputation of the company reflects significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding its customer service and support. Many reviews highlight frustrations with delayed transactions, ineffective resolution of disputes, and a lack of proactive communication. Customers frequently report feeling unsupported in cases of fraud or issues with received goods. However, some positive sentiments emerge, particularly regarding the perceived reliability of PayPal as a payment method for certain transactions, which customers associate with enhanced buyer protection. Despite this, the overwhelming trend indicates a critical need for improvement in customer service responsiveness and dispute resolution processes.

Quite okay. There. Might be delays sometimes... but there service is really slow and bad... that why I deal with reliable investment platforms like BTCPROFITUK, COM for lucrative investment deals in forex, stocks and cryptocurrency. I use my money wisely by investing and make cool profit off of it. And I recommend it to most people and they give good remarks all the time I implore you to try it out.
I made a purchase with PayPal. Did not receive the product as advertised. Tried to w I rk it out with the seller. We could not come to an agreement. The seller offered a full refund if I returned the item at my cost. I agreed but seller would only send their address in Chinese. Went to PayPal for help to deal with seller. Made me jump several time consuming hoops just to tell me to go back to seller. Will NEVER buy an item that uses PayPal. I will spend more with Amazon just for the guarantee uthat I will get some customer service if there is an issue, which I have never had with Amazon. If possible, AVOID using PayPal.
The internet is filled with crappy sites and mediums that rip you of your money, and despite how seemingly smart I felt I was I still fell one of these scheming scams! But for Greg my friend that helped link me with a recovery expert, I do not know what I'll have done! Why cry over lost Money when you can most definitely recover it! You too can visit legalfraudrecovery.com. To make enquiries on how you can go about it!
First my son told me about Paypol. Due to my conservatism, I didn't want to register for a while, I was afraid to provide my bank data to someone who was not clear. But then, when I bought a phone in Hong Kong, I had to register and later only through them I managed to get the money back. In general, I am satisfied, I've been using it for about 2 years and I've never had any problems so far. On the other hand, this is just my experience, maybe I just haven't encountered difficulties yet.
I've been on PayPal since 2004. For the first time I had a client request to pay me through PayPal -- PayPal is "holding" my funds for 21 days. Not only does PayPal charge an exhorbitant fee, but they also take advantage of the float for 21 days. I'm out.
They have gone so far down hill they are a joke---if you have a complaint they make it impossible to contact them,, and then you may order a shirt -and recieve one that is nothing like what you ordered you make your case and are told that you have to ship this rubbish back before you have your money refunded... which costs you more in time and money. So you are out of pocket again... steer clear you will be disappointed.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT ever use PayPal credit thinking you'll get six-month interest free credit. IT NEVER WORKS AND YOU'LL END UP PAYING INTEREST EVERY MONTH. I've spent hours trying to contact paypal to fix it and apparently it is my fault. Absolute BS.
PayPal does not support their customers.
I was recently scammed by a phishing website. I was able to get the website shut down, but getting my money back from PayPal was a complete nightmare.
The seller provided delivery "proof" by just sending a cheap item to someone else in my neighborhood from Amazon. Since I didn't order anything from Amazon, you would think this would be easy to see as a scam, but no.
It took me days of work to get my money back. I'll never use PayPal again, and am canceling my 20+ year old account as soon as my money is back in my bank.
I wish I could award zero stars. They allowed two fraudulent transactions (both debited to my linked card) start of April. First of all I was told they were not unauthorised (these totalled £450+) despite different email, different address, difference phone number...
I was then told it would take 24 hours/9 days 30 days...,. Take your pick. My bank refunded me and PP eventually refunded them. Not once have I had an explanation why the f! Raud or an apology. I try to close my account... and they insist I must upload my bank statement (?. As if...) or! Get my bank to write to them!
Absolutely appalling 'agents. I gave up. I to, ld them that if they will not close my account I will simply blacklist their emails and not respond.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I recently sent a payment to a friend via PayPal. I didn't realize there was another person with the same name which I sent the payment to. I contacted PayPal to get the money back only to see this was a fruitless effort, PayPal gave ZERO assistance and dismissed me. I will NEVER use PayPal to send money or for anything else again! Good Bye
I get maximum satisfaction any time I use kloviactools to funds my account
They are simply the best and reliable
First I noticed that a purchase of 68.99 on eBay billed Paypal (PP), then showed that PP billed my credit card 68.99. Next Seller, or hacker, charged my card for 167.99. No trail of transaction showed this amount, only amount charged to my linked credit card.
Next I immediately contacted Paypal customer service. As they asked, I filed claim and provided all files for claim. PP denied this claim. Later there were two invalid charges to Door Dash on my card.
Next I saw two transactions were made by Paypal where money was transferred from my bank account and used to by Bitcoin totaling about $7000. Again I contacted customer service, filed a claim and provided proof as they required. Their response was "denied your claim."
I made claims against my bank and credit card company who investigated, then approved my claim for these charges.
I emptied my PP account after these investigations and outcomes, then unlinked all cards and bank accounts on February 3,2021. On March 2 almost $7000 was withdrawn from my PP account with a zero balance and NO MONEY SOURCE LINKED. There was a transaction detail that mentioned "chargeback to bank account" but no money was transferred to my bank account. I talked to several customer service representatives and used their RESOLUTION center. I provided all the documentation that they asked for that proved my bank never received the money and there was no funding source linked to my account thus I could not have made the transfer. Again PP denied my claim. Now my account has a negative balance of almost $7000. Someone stole that money from my PAYPAL account and was either an inside person or a hacker. I will never link any payment source to that account and transfer money to PP that was stolen thanks to PP's lack of cybersecurity. Do not use PP for anything. They are dishonest and no one will help resolve anything even if you have irrefutable proof. Meanwhile my negative balance stays there because they are not a financial institution.
It's so frustrating to not have ANY kind of customer support unless you can login into your account. But if the problem is that I can't login, cause it's requiring to send me an SMS to validate my login, and in this case I lost my phone number, then I'm locked out of my account, and crazily enough there's no way of getting support without login in! How absurd! The only way I could reach them was through Twitter (!) And they said they can't help me because is not official support from a social media network. I've been through the forums and I've seen hundreds of people having the same issue. Amazing they don't do anything to help, and that they repel all customers from getting technical support unless they can login :(
Money grabbing a**holes who don't care about anyone else but there own silver spooned fed a**
DO NOT USE, USE STRIPE THEY ARE WAY BETTER
Unfortunately two items that were sent to me were not as described and Paypal was not there to help me get my money back and for this reason I keep any transactions through them now to a minimum and must always think "buyer beware" to anything I order using Paypal since I know they will not help me as they say they do. I ordered two of these "MOP VACS" that are so light that I can hold them up with two fingers. They are all light weight plastic, have no plug in cords and when I turned one on it was not able to move due to lack of enough power. It's supposed to be able to work and not weigh more than a childs toy. A total rip off that cost me a lot of money.
Never had issues before... Until now I had a $30 cash out and I never received it after cashing out to paypal 3days ago
I had a PayPal account for a while, linked to a credit card. One day I logged in and was informed two factor authentication was available. So I went through the process, linking it to an app on my iPhone and received confirmation from the PayPal server that it was working.
The next time I tried to log in, two factor authentication failed multiple times. I was locked out of my account - due to a PayPal server problem with the two factor authentication setup.
So I tried to contact PayPal by telephone. Some months before, I had been able to reach a human. But in January 2021, I was told wait times were long due to COVID, but I persevered - and then PayPal hung up. I tried multiple times over a two week period, but always had the same result. PayPal did not want to talk to me... they kept hanging up.
So I tried to contact them online. My emails to support went unanswered. My attempts to resolve the login problem failed - because PayPal had not allowed for the possibility of a two factor authentication login server failure. All I got were inane suggestions on password recovery etc. I even tried these, but of course changing the password, while possible, was not enough - it still failed the two factor authentication step.
So I cancelled the credit card linked to the PayPal account and told the credit card company not to accept further charges from my PayPal account. They messed up, a subscription charge from PayPal showed up a month later so I got a new card, one that PayPal could not access. The credit card company insisted on refusing payment on the subscription PayPal had payed - not clear why.
So PayPal sent me a communication about this. I was quite willing to pay this (minor) charge but - they told me to log into my account firse. Of course this was not possible... so I called them again - but their phone system hung up after a while. I tried to reply to their email, but saw a notice that they were not accepting replies, that I should log in... ha.
How can a large company like PayPal be so screwed up that there is no way to contact them when they have a server software failure? Didn't they bother to test the software properly? Since when is COVID an excuse to eliminate all telephone customer support?
If PayPal wants to pursue this, they know how to reach me, but they won't get anywhere unless they give me a way to contact them - without logging in. I'm not opening another PayPal account - period. I will just use virtual credit card numbers instead... who needs PayPal?
Today I received payment for painting my customers home. It was $1,000. Paypal decided to put a hold on my funds. I called once and was told it would be monday before I could even attempt to receive the $470. My account showed that I had access to the $500. However when I tried to instantly transfer my money, I was told it was under review. This is absurd! My electricity will be turned off today due to non payment because of this. Also I was highly embarrassed at the grocery earlier due to my transaction being declined. I have a 2 month old baby which needs diapers and food. I will be very proactive with voicing what has happened to me. Following is 2 links where I have submitted reviews. I plan to submit these reviews every where including all of my social media platforms in the hope that no other consumer ever has to go through what I have. Review I left: I have used paypal since 2019 to receive payments for donations to our charity as well as transfer funds between our volunteers and to receive payment in the event we provide a paint job to a client (there were more than 3 of these transfers). In the past all of my transfers were simple and I had no problem. Today however, my client paid me the $1,000 which I cannot access. Paypal took their $30 fee out and left me with no access to my money. They showed that they were holding $470 and that I had access to the other $500 and change. I called and was told it would be up to 21 days for the release to be made. Then I get into my account to transfer the $500 to my bank account that is linked with my paypal and I get a message saying once again that my money is pending. Usually my money goes immediately. Og and they also charged me another $5 to transfer the $500. I'm sure that once the hold is off the $470 that they will also charge me for that. All in all I have no access to the $1,000 I was paid and paypal will walk away with around 10% in their pocket. I have transferred thousands of dollars over the last 2 years. After this is fixed I will never again use paypal and I plan to be very vocal with this to other consumers so that nobody else will go through what I went through. I forgot to add that after I thought the transaction went through, I went to the grocery store to purchase food and my transaction was denied. I was mad as well as embarrassed. Never again paypal!
DONT USE THESE THIEFS... NO BUyer PROTECTION AT ALL
SCREW U AND UR RICH OWNER... provided all evidence to my case yet u sided with seller
Paypal is so bad it's scary. The customer service department never responds to phone calls or emails. Their automated system sucks. It wasn't always this way. I won't put my money in a place with so few safety measures and support. Bye bye.
Answer: I would not recommend PayPal to anyone for anything they're a joke of a business
Answer: Paypal will NOT be on your side if the item is not as described. I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.
Answer: They have become a money laundry scamming allowing company. Stay away at any cost.

Answer: I'm thinking someone has to work there, if you send messages you will get a canned reply, I get the same response from 10 messages, basically "suck it up buttercup, you have just been played" but if you try to actually talk to a person good luck.
Answer: They dont. They wait for you to forget it. You get money back if you fill in a form after 180 days.
Answer: Do never send money to PayPal. That money is lost. This company has become a Giants money laundry company.
Answer: No there is not. PayPal protects scammers. Be sure to never use them.
Answer: It doesn't matter if you report them or not PayPal won't do nothing about it they continued to let the scammers operate on their site and do not protect consumers
