DO NOT believe anything, no mater how seemingly simple. Even when you have recorded the conversations it DOES NOT MATTER, they wont honor what THEY told you. PayPal itself is fraudulent as hell.
I chose to redeem my points from inboxdollars.com through paypal. I have redeemed through paypal a couple times now and continue to do so because it is easy and quick. I just have to enter my password and click redeem and then i receive an email saying my paypal from inboxdollars is being processed. I like how it is quick and simple. It usually takes me 3 days. The first time i did it it took about 10 days but everytime after it has been 3. I think it is quicker cause they already have my info and everything is and has been verified. Thank you inboxdollars and paypal for your services.
You would be better off using your credit card bc credit cards having buyer protection and would save you the stress of dealing with the non professionalism at PayPal. They don't even have a corporate contact to resolve issues, so you already know they don't want to be bothered and will talk to you unprofessional bc there will be no repercussions. They don't valve their customers.

I bought one Makita tools set in Ebay kleinanzeige and paid the seller with PayPal with customer purchase protection. The seller was a scammer and immediately erase all information from Ebay and disappeared.After few days he gave false UPS tracking number to Paypal and they sent me email that the sale is closed. I have checked with UPS and the only information I got from them was that My name and address does not match with the name and the address of the receiver. Classic scam. The seller does not answered my emails and I opened case with Paypal claiming purchase protection and money reimburse. Today I received email from PayPal that my claim is rejected because the seller provide tracking number and the goods are delivered.Where and when...does not matter. I have tried to reopen the case, because I received NOTHING, but MF Paypal act as a mafia. They are the Judge and the Prosecutor. Once they refuse to pay back your money you are done. I have asked to have the real name or some useful information about the seller because I want to chase this scammer and to make official claim in the Police, but they have firewall. Zero customer protection. PayPal is a platform where every scammer feel untouchable. Instead of Customer protection, PayPal should have Criminals and scammers protection policy.

After receiving an order for an item online, my customer insisted on using PayPal to transfer the funds to me. I agreed, and gave him the email address to send the credit card payment to. The money was placed on Hold with PayPal until I could update the transaction with tracking information. I shipped the item out to the customer, and it arrived 4 days later, which was two days later than the 2nd Day Air service that I paid for. PayPal states that "you will be paid within one day of delivery," but this is not true. My order arrived two days ago, and they still have my funds on hold and refuse to release them to me.
No wonder people don't use PayPal as much as they once did...when eBay owned the entity.
I signed up with PayPal a little over a year ago as a means to improve my credit. Everything has been going well until 2023. Seems like since the new year I have been having trouble. This is the second month to where they at claiming that I did not pay my bill which I have ever month and never late. When I noticed the same problem this month FEB 12/23. I called several times and was not able to reach a person for over an hour.
Then finally when I was able to reach someone, The rep seemed like he was so concerned and apologetic to my problem which he said somehow the automatic payment to my account got disconnected from my bank. Didn't make any sense, because Ive had the same bank for years along with other accounts using the same method of payments NEVER have had any problems. So again we processed the payment for me and updated my bank routing number information. So this wouldn't happen again. The payment was successfully processed.
Now today Feb 20/23 I get an email from synchrony bank saying that my payment was not received and I owe double what the previous amount, which means plus a late fee of $30 plus what I owe and the balance of next month added all due for next month's payment.
Obviously, Using my routing number and account no longer works so what am I supposed to do? There is absolutely NO one to talk to. The phone line just takes you through series and series of loops asking the same questions but no live person to resolve the issue. I will be taking legal actions towards this company if I can about my money and will be turning turning them into BBB as soon as possible. I AM SO fed up with this madness. Smh! Thanks for trying to be honest and pay on time but they make it impossible, seems like on purpose and I'm tired!

Any junk business can charge your account at will once they have your financial information.
Paypal don't even ask for your approval, and transactions are completed before notification, there is no "Hold" on any transaction, some scammers can directly charge your account and paypal can do nothing about it, don't use it for payment or link bank account to it for auto payment
Made Fashion Nova payment via Pay pal.
Fashion Nova declined the Paypal payment as they couldn't verify the billing address. The transaction went into authorized status on my pay pal.
It is now 12 days.
I had been promised refund within 7 days.
Fashion Nova & PayPal keep shifting the blame on each other. Each saying the other is holding the funds.
I used another method to pay for the goods yet i am now short of the monies i was debited by paypal with no help from Pay pal or Fashion Nova. I have contacted both on numerous occasions.
Fashion Nova dont even have customer care. The 1800 number they have is automated& refers you to help corner. At the help corner you email & its a robot replying the messages. One keeps getting same scripted answers over & over again shifting the blame to paypal whereas on paypals side they have incompetent agents that chat & say the same thing over & over.
When one uses a bank card to make payments& has a problem with the merchant. The bank is always willing to assist, why not paypal?

I have made many phone calls to PayPal trying to get my funds transferred. A friend of mine sent me money through PayPal, Almost 24 hours later, I'm still waiting for the funds to be transferred to my checking account. PayPal caused me to late paying several bills, if that wasn't bad enough, PayPal charged me $48.15, claiming that the money that was sent to me was a payment from a business transaction. I only had a personal account with PayPal.
I made a payable account and for no reason can not receive money...and neither can not send money.

I ordered a product from Moroccan Oil in November and never received it I opened a dispute with PayPal and they never did anything. They want me to get a letter from a law enforcement agency. What a joke! What are the police going to do? They have more important things to do than to track down a $75 bottle of shampoo. Paypal does not protect the consumer as usual they are there to protect the big companies!
Been with paypal for 20 years, without a problem. Now times are hard they have come up with a great way of making money, they simply keep yours.
They have blocked my account with £650 in it, and refuse to give me my money unless I jump through impossibe hoops for them, including sending faxes ( anyone got a fax machine). They hope I will give up and they get to keep my money and incure interest on it as well. I have to go through the court system to get what belongs to me back.
This WILL happen to you, because paypal is so convenient but I strongly recommend you go somewhere else as it's impossible to talk to them, they are too big and an do what they like.

I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.
