AS SOON AS YOU TRAVEL, PAYPAL LOCKS YOU OUT BECAUSE THEY AREN'T ABLE TO VERIFY YOU. IF ANYTHING CHANGES SUCH AS YOU CELL PHONE NUMBER, PAY PAL IS UNABLE TO VERIFY YOU ANY OTHER WAY. Solid company that I've worked with handling my transactions for over a decade. Customer service is exceptional.
Had to use theirs Fraud protection but, woah boy, what a joke. Fought with them for over three weeks and invariably will never do business with them again. They even refused to close my account or release my bank carda This I believe is racketeering.

Never use pay pal! They don't protect you like they say they do. I ordered something online & after I ordered it I realized it was a scam. I try to cancel the transfer of money. But they wouldn't do it. They let it go through instead. Now I'm out the money & never received the item I ordered. Pay pal helps the scammers scam our money. Don't use them. They are big fraud! Someone needs to do something about them! They are definitely not on our side! They are on the scammers side!
It's not quite bad, not that easy to navigate, good for making payment and buying stuff online, have a lot of features.
They randomly cancel accounts saying after their review they have decided to terminate business with you. But when you contact them to find out the issue to resolve there is no explanation and they say they just made the decision. Even though you are never late with payments.
I had several thousand dollars transferred to PayPal. I tried to withdraw the amount into my bank account however their security system blocked the transfer. There was no explanation from Paypal. After spending several hours over SEVERAL DAYS on chat and phone with their customer service dept, they informed me that the block was due to me logging in from overseas (EU FFS!) and that there was nothing that they could do to override the security block. Perhaps CEO Dan Schulman, CFO Gabrielle Rabinovitch or Sri Shivananda could do something, but why would they bother? They are likely responsible for implementing Paypal's INSANE security system. No other financial company / bank operates with such draconian protocols that humans cannot override. If you value your sanity then NEVER USE PAYPAL! APPALLING COMPANY! P.S. This problem for me is still ongoing...
1. Pp agents give customers the wrong instructions, 2. They refuse to compensate customers for the consequences of their instructions, 3. They hold your data hostage, you literally can't close your account until you tell the BBB that you're a satisfied customer/happy camper, 4. Insulting treatment
My new business, DoGoodUnited.com, has added PayPal as a payment option for items on our website. They've been withholding our money for weeks, demanding more and more answers to ridiculous questions. It's a waste of time to deal with and harmful to every business. We will stop working with them. I was ripped off as a customer, now I was ripped off as a business partner too. Horrible experience!
PayPal allows their sellers to change the software to automatically place an order as soon as you click on "review order". This is illegal. Paypal should be sued for it. It is legally an unauthorized transaction and PayPal will do nothing to back you on it.

I want to thank Adam M. In PayPal Business Litigation. As a 23 year customer I know that sometimes a situation may arise, and it is greatly appreciated when someone like Adam steps in and resolves the matter.
I used PayPal a lot, and I thought it was a protective mechanism working ok. In the past they helped me sometimes. But when I had a big argument (more than 300$) with a company that was a complete scam and I wanted to return many of the items, they clearly took sides with the Chinese (false presentation of goods, the clothes look like plastic bagsā¦) and didn't helped me at all. Finally, customers are not protected, online buying is a chaos. Double and triple check before buying.
Terrible customer service, called multiple times, waiting for my insurance claim payment from GEICO to be released. Everytime I call I get "oh yeah I see what's happening___ insert new bs excuse, please give us until tomorrow to resolve this thank you"
Don't believe they will refund you when you get ripped off by retailers. They won't. Their whole dispute and appeal process is a sham. Please find another way to pay for goods on line. They don't live up to their hype. Not even worth one star. How much proof do they need?
They have the wrong address for me, it was an address that was over 2 years old. Numerous phone calls and chats before they admitted their mistake. Out $46 due to their error, merchant is ignoring me as well. Another merchant never shipped the order, that was $ 46. I can get a voucher for my trouble. F that. I no longer have PayPal.
I have used Paypal for many years on my active online website, but no more. Paypal has become an enabler of scam buyers and refund blatant scammers even when tracking proves otherwise. It is honestly shameful. I removed the Paypal button from my site and no longer purchase with Paypal either. They have become a terrible company and abuse sellers. I have taken my business elsewhere. There are plenty of other options nowadays and Paypal did it to themselves. Good riddance!

Answer: Paypal will NOT be on your side if the item is not as described. I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.

Answer: USPS delievered it to the wrong address my pacakge was supposed to be delievered too 35710 Bay Morgan Ln, Fallbrook, CA 92028 when USPS delivered it to an address simillar to this one 12354 Alcatal Street (do not know the exact address since they did not email me, but you can call USPS and ask, and that is how I found out) Fallbrook, CA 92028, right city and zip code, far away address.
