NEWEST UPDATE [7/8/2025]: TWO MONTHS AND A COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE EXCUSE.
The situation has now reached an unacceptable point after two months of waiting. On 7/8/2025, I contacted Payoneer support for a status update, and the official response I received from your agent, Eunel, was shocking for a financial institution:
"Unfortunately, due to the complexity of the review process, we cannot provide an exact timeframe at the moment."
Let me be clear for anyone reading this: after two months, "complexity" is not an explanation. It is an admission of a failed internal process. Holding a customer's funds indefinitely without any timeline is unacceptable and unprofessional.
This new response makes the previous contradictory statements and promises to "do my best" even more frustrating. My 1-star review stands, and I am now escalating this matter by filing formal complaints with financial regulators. My money is still being held hostage by this endless "review."

Payoneer has held my money for over 2 months so so-called 'account review. 9 days ago, they sent me an email confirming they 'remitted' my refund. The money never came. Today, their support team told me the payment is 'still being handled.' They are providing contradictory information and have failed to return my money. Their service is unreliable and I strongly recommend against using them.

I am absolutely outraged by the way Payoneer has handled my account and my money. Over two months ago, Payoneer blocked access to my available balance without any notice, explanation, or prior communication. I was not even notified by email or inside my account. I only found out by logging in and seeing that my balance was suddenly unavailable. Since then, I have contacted Payoneer eight times. Every time, I receive the same generic, scripted response: "Your case is being reviewed. We will get back to you shortly." But no one ever gets back to me. No follow-up. No updates. No resolution. Nothing. I have submitted all required documents, followed all instructions, and waited patiently – but this is beyond acceptable. Payoneer is holding my funds hostage, and they are completely ignoring my formal complaints. This situation is not only unprofessional – it's unethical. Payoneer is dealing with real people's money and real lives. Blocking access to someone's funds for months without explanation is a disgrace, and could seriously harm people's livelihoods. I'm now taking steps to report this to relevant financial authorities, and I will make sure to share my experience everywhere I can so others are warned. If you're thinking of using Payoneer: don't. Their support is unreliable, and they clearly don't care about their users once they have your money.
