The company has garnered significant negative feedback, primarily due to its misleading portrayal as an official government site for passport applications. Customers frequently express frustration over being charged for services that are available for free, leading to feelings of deception and financial loss. While some users report positive experiences with customer service, particularly in securing refunds, these instances are overshadowed by widespread concerns regarding transparency and the handling of personal information. Overall, the sentiment reflects a strong warning against using the service, emphasizing the need for clearer communication and ethical practices.

I typically do not fall for these type of things. I did at least stop short of putting in my credit card info, but they now have ALL of the rest of my private information. Totally useless site and should be shut down.
Should be brought up on charge and google should be charge also for not monitoring their site! Total scammers stealing money from hard working people! Worse dishonesty there is!
Fell for this like so many others. Acts like an official site, now they have all your private info. And google makes money putting them at the top of the list. My bad for clicking but there are so many people getting tricked google should be ashamed.
I gave all of my minor son's info to these horrible people.
I called them and they removed the charge-*******149
If it reappears I will call my credit card to dispute.
I also submitted an Experian fraud alert to be safe.
Has anyone had any issues with identity theft after using this company? How is this one of the first sites that comes up on Google? I didn't pay the fee but I submitted address, SSN, passport book info, etc and I'm so anxious that they have all that. Please share if you believe you were a victim of identity theft by way of this company.
Like all these other people who posted here, I can't believe I fell for this dirty scam too. Thanks google! This form is free on the government website.
The site fakes people to fill our government form for $38 while anyone can do that free on the government site, and definitely scamming site. They provide statements that they are not government and that you should pay government fees, etc. but the location is correctly chosen so you would not see them. Mikhail
Luckily, I didn't pay at the end of being scammed, but I did end up entering all of my private and personal info. I'm SO ANGRY! Don't fall for it! Make sure you go to a. GOV site!
Unfortunately I was scammed. Passport USA is stealing money and possibly using identity security information to cause further damage. TELL EVERYONE AND REPORT THIS TO REAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS! Be sure to call your credit card company and have them remove the charge right away as well as put up security flag for the fraudulent Passport USA.
Very misleading. You think you are renewing your passport online only to pay $38.00 for a form you can get at the post office for free! So mad. Caveat emptor!
I mindlessly clicked on the site thinking I would be able to renew my passport, but soon realized it was a huge mistake. The good thing was that I caught this before I entered my card information. However, I have submitted all of my personal information including my social security number. This is very worrisome. The next best thing I did was that I filed a complaint to the IC3. Stay safe everyone. Even if it means to double your research about sketchy websites.
File the website here: https://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
I'm with the other reviews on here. I can't believe I didn't realize it was a scam until after I put in everything they asked. Yet I trusted because it was the first thing on Google. Now I'm scared. What can they do with it? Sell it on the dark web?
I didn't complete the purchase but I did dump all of my important information to the site before I realize it is a scam. Trying to figure out how to get my information removed. If anyone can figure out how to make a formal complaint please post what you did. I'll do the same.
I blame a sick kid and no sleep for falling for my first online scam. I feel sick myself about it. Now to cancel / change whatever I can before they take advantage of my personal info!
This is a fake site. Do not use. It looks like it is official but it is not. This way it tries to get your information. I have reported it to the government. It needs to be prosecuted.

Ugh! Wife just completed Passport information. Has anyone reported ID theft yet? Any luck getting a person from Passport USA to respond?
Passport USA is not a government site. You don't get your passports from Passport USA. It charges you $38 for a simple application that cost you nothing from the real government site. Applications are free, not $38.
Answer: Definitely a scam. Dispute the charge to your bank or credit card company.
Answer: File a Fraud Alert with any 1 of the 3 credit report bureaus as a precaution. US Gov has on-line guidance for this.
