Every item says it's in stock while you're shopping and then you go to check out and every single thing in your cart is out of stock! THIS IS FN FRUSTRATING! Really! Saturday morning I go in for 1 balloon. There are 3 people off to the side filling balloons for orders. I understand that. I pay for my 1 balloon and asked to wait. Meanwhile this one person that I purchased my balloon from needs tho check out everyone in line and answer all of the phone calls from people to see if their order is ready for pick up. OK I browse the store keep checking to see if my balloon is being filled. Nope. Now had I not paid $13 for this balloon of a large #2, I would have probably said forget this and left. 40 yes 40 min later the person asked for help. I finally got my balloon. Advice - don't go to Party City on a Saturday needing 1 balloon.
I visited partycity three times today because each time I left the balloons deflated. Never again! Balloon in pic 2 hours old.
I am surprised they have the audacity to have in bright bold letters on top of their webpage saying FAST DELIVERY IN 3 days.
I ha e ordered from them twice and both times the items arrived more than a week after the order date and after the party.
It is okay to be a little slow with delivery for perhaps a more affordable price, but be honest with your customers and remove this fast delivery bull from the website and say: order now, get it in 7-10 days, because people actually count on the
Items for a party.
These guys are complete time wasters! I ordered balloons with my husbands name on them. I ordered many other custom items from other suppliers. They all had 16 days! In this day and age 16 days should be easily achievable to print a name on a balloon! All the other suppliers shipped and I recieved them in a week at most. Party City? Who should be more than capable and understand that they are in a deadline business couldn't even process the order for 5 business days which means 9 days with two weekends! Then I'm told, but good Friday is in there so it will be 10 days before they can even think about shipping! So there is no guarantee I will get the balloons! When I tell them then "just cancel the order", they say they can't because it is a custom order! DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! There are hundreds online outfits that will not put you through this hassle. These people are totally unprofessional and clearly not up to speed in today's society!
Jim the manager is always very helpful and cheerful! He as well as other employees and managers at that location consistently offer excellent customer service. They seem to really care about your event and getting you what you would like. When comparing shopping Amazon or other stores this is the place. They have the best product and price as well as great customer service!

I ordered a bouquet of balloons, $45, the night before Valentine's day. Everything I ordered at the moment was in stock. On Valentines' day, 3 hours before they were to be delivered as a gift I am alerted that the red heart valentine's balloons were not in stock and that they will still deliver the rest of the order (12 black balloons and an L... IT'S NOT A FUNERAL!). I could not get a hold of anyone to cancel the order except the delivery driver. My friend is now going to be without balloons for Valentine's day (wanted to make him smile since he's been sad the past few years) and I am now out $28 (the rest of the amount I was charged without the Valentine heart balloons) due to Party City's inventory error. I can't even go into the store because I ordered them from California which makes this even more frustrating. I feel as if I've been stolen from. This is not professional. I want a full refund or to have all the balloons I paid for to be delivered to the address listed once they are all in stock even though THE SENTIMENT WILL BE MOOT SINCE IT'LL BE AFTER VALENTINE'S DAY!
Placed an order online for curbside pick up, called store to make notes store said call head office to make the notes, I called head office, head office said "we can't make notes, seems like the store is not familiar with the order process" I said ok so no way you or the store can help me for an order I made online for curbside pickup and her response was "thatttt is correct"... Dear Party City, customer service's role is to assist customers with orders inquiries, not make them regret a purchase... It was a simple question that believe me if she wanted to help with she easily could... she was just lazy. Sad that people are dying for jobs and then there's people with a job and choosing not doing it at all.
I was in the Falls Church, VA (5522 Leesburg Pike) store with my mother and two daughters on Saturday, February 6 around 11:00 a.m. to pick up a balloon order and shop for birthday party favors, when I began to experience an urgency to use the restroom that was absolutely an emergency. I found the store restrooms and saw the posted sign that restrooms were not open to the public. The store policy was clear so I left the store to find somewhere to relieve myself. After trying three places near Party City to no avail I went back to the store and attempted once again to use the restroom. When I knocked on the door to the ladies room someone replied that they would be out in a minute. I waited and though I was about to wet myself and was desperate, continued to hold it. The woman in the restroom, who I now know was an employee by the name of Selena, came out and told me I couldn't come in. I begged her to let me in and tried the best I could in the midst of my desperation to explain myself. She adamantly refused me entry and blocked my way in. By this point I was in tears begging and pleading. Selena pushed the door shut behind her, pushed past me, and walked away from me as I was asking to speak to the manager to get permission for my emergency. I told Selena I was about to wet my pants, which I did, in front of other customers, right there next to the restroom of Party City. I was absolutely humiliated and was crying openly. As she turned her back on me she said over her shoulder " go to hell, lady." Selena was very rude and cruel and completely lacked compassion and decency. I honestly believe that any store policy recognizes an exception and if an employee is trained to enforce a policy in this manner, this store has no business serving the public. My experience at your store was absolutely horrifying and I can only hope that no one else has to endure the treatment I received from Selena.
I was rudely kicked out of the store after trying to buy some supplies for my daughter's birthday shower and an employee to actually look me dead in my face have nowhere and told me to get the $#*! out of their store! I am highly disgusted the day is February 5th 2021 at 8:26 p.m. a young lady at the store in Burleson Texas look me dead in my face and told me to kill myself she's lucky I don't know the number for her manager! I am wearing a tie dye hoodie brown and black and the lady had brown hair and she was walking with a male and disgusted Lee told me to kill myself I really really hope you'll do something about y'all hiring process!

Today I took my unborn child's results of sex to party city in Medford Oregon for my gender reveal, I gave them the envelope with the sex inside and paid over 50 dollars for all the supplies and celebrations items we got to celebrate, they filled out ballon and gave it to us, I got home got on Facebook live for my family friends to experience this beautiful celebration of finding out if my baby was a boy or girl and we popped the ballon and pink confetti flew everywhere, everyone saw it every one was thrilled and when we checked the envelope to confirm the sex was a girl! It was a BOY! They gave us the wrong ballon and I am still in tears I had to disappoint everyone in my family and friends that all that excitement was for nothing and when we found out the real sex it brought all the attention to everyone pissed off that party city got it wrong in the first place! I am so mad so hurt and so beside myself that this employee from this company took away the special moment we had all waited for! 100% do not recommend for gender reveal extremely upset!
I have been frequenting Party City in Pembroke Pines for about a year. No matter what day of the week you go or the day of the year, you will never find more than 3 employees working. Customers are waiting 20 to 30 minutes in line. Hire more help or get self service registers. If not, everyone will only use Amazon and just get their balloons from Walmart and Publix. Or change your name from Party City to Sad City.
Not very happy with Party City online site. I ordered supplies for Christmas on 12/6. The site has been saying "in transit" since then. I have contacted the company many times, they were polite, but basically said you just have to wait, it will be delivered. At this point, who needs Christmas paper products after Christmas? I ordered everything online this year from groceries to gifts, etc. This is literally the only package that did not come in time. The items will be "returned to sender" if it ever arrives. Of course, my credit card has been charged since 12/6! I would go to my local Party City when Covid is under control, but I will not order from Party City online in the future.
Do not order from Party City. My order is lost in transit, but Party City refuses to refund until the order arrives and is returned. What if it never arrives? Totally unacceptable customer service - do not order from Party City.
I bought 5 balloons today, according to my receipt at 1:30p.m. It is now 3:21p. M and the balloons have deflated, I called the store and told them about it, the guy said there's nothing he can do. I said I will gladly take the picture to show, he said there's nothing he can do, that was rude and really pissed me off. I don't think I'll be going back to the Royal Palm Beach location. Very disorganized and this was the icing on the cake for me. Terrible.
Customer support verified that the dates they promised for delivering my items prior to charging my credit card are incorrect, and the ones given after charging the credit card address more likely correct.
Unfortunately, that means the items they promised by Christmas aren't going to arrive in time.
They refused to refund my money, originally saying the items were already shipped (which would be great, since we have 11 days before Christmas, so they would arrive). After I pointed out it was unlikely they were already shipped since I only place the order a few hours before, she agreed that they weren't shipped, but couldn't refund my money because they don't refund custom orders, even when not created yet, and when they can't meet their promised deadlines.
I ordered some balloons through the site on Nov 12,2020 because they did not have them at local store and I paid $7.99 for shipping and was told that shipment would arrive by Nov 18 and I called on the 18th only to be told to give it more time. Btw the tracking information provided on the website was Inaccurate so I then called again on the 19th to be told the package was lost in transit and after contacting my local post office and waiting on hold for 45 minutes they disclosed they were not in possession of the package. I called party city back again and was told if the package did not arrive today to request a refund. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PACKAGE AND THEY ARE REFUSING TO REFUND MY MONEY AND BTW MY DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY IS TODAY AND SHE HAD NO BALLOONS! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND PARTY CITY TO ANYOBE THEY ARE THIEVES AND DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS AND REFUSE TO ISSUE REFUNDS.
Costumes isn't good and my son costume didn't even have his mask or the rest of his outfit inside the bag
I ordered a sparkly witch costume with a light up dress, a wand, and a hat but they forgot the hat. I got mad after this experience and would like another costume BEFORE Halloween.
Answer: No. I just spend 30 minutes on the phone and they refused to refund my order placed hours ago, even though they agree their website promised a delivery date they won't be able to meet.
Answer: Easy, but their substandard voip system with their employees working from home and the crying kid in the background makes for a trying experience.
Answer: There are many locally owned smaller party stores that are always cheaper and the service is better most of the time. No long waits and if they don't have what you need they can order it.
