The company is a SCAM. We paid for a parcel collection. They never collect it. We asked for a refund and they asked us to pay 6£ on top before giving the refund. We did not pay the additional charge as we have been ripped off already. Do not trust this company. There are many reviews on their website but I believe those are fake as I can't add one there
Be very very careful before using this company please read the reviews. My experience involved sending a £50 picture. I was very careful with inputting the correct measurements and weight. The cost was £40. Expensive but worth it to get the picture delivered. Then it started. No one came to pick the parcel up. I e mailed Parcel Compare and they said nothing we can do you can drop off. After a 30 mile round trip done. Then 3 days later the parcel company came to pick it up. It had already been delivered! They came again the next day! Now parcel compare have said after a UPS audit I owe another £133! The dimensions I put in were right, the weight was right, but UPS charge a minimum weight for large items which ParcelCompare didn't quote for. They keep asking for a picture. Why would I have taken a picture! It's heartbreaking to have them constantly e mailing me demanding money at Christmas :(
Parcel Compare used UPS who lost my parcel. UPS state they paid my claim out to Parcel Compare circa £500. Parcel Compare continue to deny any knowledge of the claim or payment so Im having to take it legal now.

Avoid at all costs! They hook you in with a competitive quote and then hit you with a massive oversize surcharge with no creditable evidence! If you are foolish enough to take a risk, check all hidden T&Cs behind tick boxes thoroughly and take pictures and sizes of everything otherwise this company will take you to the cleaners! UPS were my carriers and their less than satisfactory service resulted in my package arriving damaged with several large and bulky items weighing 40kg lost without trace!? Neither company answer to any Regulator so after 6 months of complaining they simply ignored my valid evidence and failed to answer key questions. I am now left in the hope that Trading Standards will make improvements in the future and my Credit Card company can redeem some of my money for the disproportional surcharge which was over 100% of the original cost! An experience I would not wish on anyone!
Avoid at all costs. They just keep taking money, not sending parcels, cancelling shipments and then try and take money from you. There is no customer contact number and you end up dealing with people who do not have a clue what they are doing. By the way they will charge you an 'admin fee' if you say you need to pay for the duty on the shipment. That is another £25 on top of what they already charge.
I used parcel compare to send a package to Germany via UPS, my parcel was collected 1 day late, it was supposed to be delivered 10th August, now 20th August 2021, parcel still not delivered, no support from Parcel Compare to sort the issue.
The only response to several emails is basically they are not interested, and it is up to me to try and get my parcel to its destination.
Shocking customer service, do not trust this provider with you goods.
Worst service. Do not use. Book direct. My item was sent in original packaging never opened and arrived without any packagaing and they wont accept fault saying it wasnt packaged correctly. It arrived severly damaged and they wont accept responsibility for this awful service. I paid insurance for extra cover for them to say my item wasnt covered because it was a cooker but they took my money and this wasnt clear upon booking or i would not have booked.
Awful company! Please avoid, I wish I had read the opinions before I hired it.
I used it to send 3 boxes to Spain, I paid customs and an enhance insurance. The boxes were retained in customs and returned to England. After weeks of emailing the absolute useless agents, because there is no telephone number (and now I understand why) I finally got the boxes back in England after 9 weeks. They were absolutely destroyed, with many things broken and some others missing. Parcel Compare blamed me as I should have known that Spain didn't receive any parcels from Uk due to brexit (I thought that was THEIR job) and they didn't pay for the broken items because the enhance insurance does not cover anything apparently. They even had the cheek to offer me £15 credit to use within 10 days! For what? To break me more things and steal more money?
So after 3 months of dealing with this disgusting company, the boxes are not in Spain, I had to throw away the broken things and I couldn't do anything with the missing things. I basically wasted my money and time.
Please, avoid, AVOID!
I used Parcel Compare for sending my parcel to Slovakia.
It was picked up on the 6th of April 2021
It was birthday presents for my cousin's kids. Nothing unusual.
I was tracking my parcel regulary and tracking was saying ‘in transit'.
As parcel was in transit for a few weeks I contacted Parcel Compare and they said receiver didnt clear customs and the parcel is being sent back to me, in a cheeky way they also sent me an invoice for paying again to have the parcel returned.
Receiver and me never knew about customs duty as nobody notified us. They do not accept their failure and clear mistakes. How should I know we need to pay for customs with no contact regarding this customs charge and on their website saying ‘in transit'!
It is the 9th of May 2021 and still my parcel is "in transit" and they are asking me to pay for it to be delivered back to me!
I found their service very unpleasant. Its sounds cheap but in the end is double the price and your parcel will not be delivered

If you want to pay for a fraudulent company to explain to you why they actually won't deliver your parcels and threaten you to throw your parcels away if you won't travel internationally to pick them back up, you have come to the right place. Don't miss out!
You really should have the option of a ‘Zero Star' this company just do not deserve to be in business and certainly don't deserve any stars at all. I would implore people to go direct to the parcel company, these days the pittance you save is not worth the lack of Customer Service you get when required. I would like to say that I first used Parcel Compare a few years ago, I was very impressed then and wrote a review to say so. How things have changed, the service, care and support really couldn't fall much lower.
I have a very small business, this year was very hard for everyone without any additional trouble. I needed to move my stock from the UK to Bulgaria before the end of the transition period. Through the year I had been sending 2 or 3 parcels at a time, I had a few niggles, but nothing could have prepared me for the last few shipments. Sadly they were all sent in quick succession so there was no way of knowing, believe me I wouldn't and won't ever use them again.
I had a shipment of 3 parcels each weighing approximately 29KG and obviously very large too. They arrived and one was missing, the other 2 looked like they had been kicked from the UK to Bulgaria. I got in touch straight away and was told that they would investigate, which could take up to 14 days. In the meantime I had to provide a list of the items involved. This was fairly easy as it was all stock that was to be shown on a TV show. The time passed and I kept asking for updates, cutting a long story short this went on for over 3 months. I had contacted the CEO of DPD by this time.
I was so relieved when I finally got a claim form, I had lost so much by this time, I had to give notice to my design team, as I couldn't sell much as the items lost formed part of collections. I had continually told them that the longer it went on the more damage was being done. I filled out the claim form. Since then they have disputed ownership my products, despite providing invoices, they refused to accept bank statements which clearly showed payments. I contacted the company and asked if they would provide company receipts, they did, all signed and stamped with the business stamp along with a document confirming all the invoices were paid, this was also stamped and signed. Parcel Compare came back to accuse me of editing the documents. I can prove they were all sent to me by the company by email. I have provided everything they have asked for again and again.
This has gone on and on, they have asked for the same information over and over again. The have declined my claim and as a goodwill gesture credited the account with 15.00, I would never use them again, I would rather get on a flight and collect things myself.
I have been suicidal, it has been devastating, thousands of pounds of stock lost. It's a very small concern it's devastating.
The other shipments that I mentioned, there was so much damage in one, nothing could be retrieved. It is a polite warning not to use this disreputable company. If you need any help or assistance you will not get any and going to the courier itself will not help as the contract is direct with Parcel Compare. The only time you will get any help is when it is to pay for a shipment, apart from that they couldn't care less.
It is totally beyond me how a large parcel weighing nearly 30Kg can possibly go missing, it is complete incompetence and shows sheer lack of responsibility. I was proud of my ‘Craftascope' Brand of Craft Products, now I just can't continue, they have destroyed everything. Please don't risk feeling as bad as I do. They have made me feel like a criminal over the last few months. I never thought I could be affected so badly, but bit by bit they have destroyed my confidence and ruined any chance of recovery.

Please provide evidence that you have audited the item, as I took item to the post office and confirmed it weights 2.93KG but delivery is 5 months by seamail, hence I used DHL. And weight helght etc... are all correct as measured as local post office.
Your shipping agent Parcel Compare wants more $. And I discovered that DHL does not charge extra for shipping to residential areas, but your shipping agent Parcel Compare charged me extra for shipping to London Residential area
And you will never be able to get extra $ from me, as I have cancelled this credit card.
"We sorry to inform you that DHL has audited your shipment and found that the weight or dimensions you provided to us was inaccurate and this has affected the billable weight that was used to calculate the cost of your shipment. "
Even the English is amateurish "We sorry".
You should change to cancel this shipping agent of DHL. This company claims to be a shipping agent of DHL.
We used this company recently to deliver goods to a customer in Malta. We measured the parcel which included a small pallet, weighed the goods, declared the dimensions and weights accurately and booked the service.
The goods were delivered but a few days later we received an invoice for an additional sum of money since the company claimed our parcel was heavier (20 kilos more) than we had declared.
We disputed this and provided detailed weights for every component including the packing and pallet. The company then claimed the pallet was bigger than we had stated by 20cm. The extra weight was described as volumetric.
Threatened with punitive charges we paid the extra sum demanded but several days later our customer sent photographs clearly showing that the dimension we supplied were accurate and we sent these to the company on the 5th of May 2015 and requested a full refund of the amount we paid through Paypal for the extra weight. We were assured by their customer services dept that a full refund of the extra charge would be made as soon as they received the photographs.
To date we have still NOT received our refund and the company continues to claim on Paypal resolution centre that the parcel was 20cm larger despite receiving concrete proof from me in the form of photographic evidence with a measuring tool in the pictures, that the dimensions I stated were 100% correct.
I will never use this company again and would not recommend them to anybody else. The hassle I am going through trying to get back money the company was not owed and had no right to charge me beggars belief!
Answer: In my opinion pick any company apart from these, they offer the worse service I have ever experienced STAY AWAY FROM PARCEL COMPARE
