Have never had a problem with eating at Panera. Was a bit disappointed
With ordering salads to take out, seemed much smaller than what we had when eating in. However, quality of food matters as much as taste. Both are great.
I must give credit to Panera as they really want to do their best. You are at the mercy of your labor but the transparency in their product and goals is commendable. If they fall short they try to remedy. Bravo for being upfront and genuine.
Ok, I have no idea what these other reviews are talking about! Panera Bread always raises the bar and delivers food you wouldn't expect to find through a drive through. It is tasty and has a nice aesthetic. The place is nice inside as well, and can serve people many purposes from studying to a nice place for interviews.
It is my story@ 2135 Ashley Phosphate Rd, North Charleston, SC ******* Panera Bread!
I order a group soup with chips. FINE! You give me bread instead of chips. Acceptable
What about 3 Green Goddess Cobb Salad with Chicken? THERE ARE NO CHICKEN OR EGGS AT ALL!
This is NOT first time, there are missing items or Something!
And no apologizes from staffs at all for this STUPID MISTAKES!
I have been to drive thru 3 times in the last several months. Each time I can see my teller preparing my food using the same gloves she taking money with. No paper, or scoop used. Actual gloved hand reach into strawberries and sprinkle on my oatmeal. The same today I believe this trip will remind me not to go to Panera again. Love the clean food idea, but you better work on the hygiene
I ate a turkey bacon
They gave me bacon bits
We ordered soup and they just threw bread in our bag instead of separated also they did not have chips or lettuce at 5p
Your restaurant should never be out of product.
I will never eat there again and it was my first time. Does my sandwich look appetizing?
After the trip to the shops we stopped to eat in Panera brad. It's the worst food I've ever eaten. My daughter and I had stomachs when we got home. The food is just awful, how can you cook and serve it to people? Paid for 2 servings 14.80. No pleasure from food not received. There was a spoiled mood for the money thrown to the wind. Would not recommend to anyone. We ate in this restaurant for the first and last time. Never again!
Bread was frozen, soup with chemical taste, very disappointed, I will tell everyone about my terrible experience
The Panera bread I always use to eat and drink is the one located on 8541georgia silver spring. In here it is realy a very neat, fresh and yami foods, good service, good management and supervision and excellent personality and attitude towards every customer.
College Station TX has very poor morning service -- only time I go there. Poor service comes from the back. I ask for a toasted bagel. It is always delivered cold. Today I watched. Run through the toaster and left there. I asked the trainer if he knew why I wanted it toasted. He didn't know... I explained I wanted it warm. I also explained I could nuke it but microwave is too small for the plates. So he toasted it again--black. I have a pic. I could list many more instances. Never again at this location. In all fairness, I gave eaten at many other Panera's and been happy with the service.
Placed an itemized order for a business meeting for ~33 people at Panera in Paducah KY. Placed the order 4 days in advance and added a couple of orders the day before. Went to pick up the order - order was not ready and had to wait 30 minutes. Unacceptable for a corporate meeting. When we got the food to the meeting room (late) you could not even tell what was in the bags, who the order was for. The bags should have had, at a minimum, the item that was in the bag or the person's name to coincide with the bag. It took us an additional 10-15 minutes to figure out the order. Items were missing - it was a hot mess. Won't use them again!
I know everyone tries to cut corners where they can but give it up Panera! If your prices get any higher for the size of the portions, your customers will be paying for air! $7.49 for a miniature bowl of chili... that's absurd! I'll not be a fool to your establishment again! Best of luck!
If I could give it a zero I would. I got tomato soup with mold in it and had the worst service. Did not even get my money back absolutely disgusting. Will ensure to take this a lot farther than just a complaint online
I am just leaving the Jordan Creek Town-center Panera in absolute aw! No rating is high enough for the outstanding service I not only had to myself, but witnessed with the customers surrounding me.
I was greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome as Keith held the door for me. He also did the same with a sweet elderly couple. Our orders were taken and our meals promptly made. The meals alone were phenomenal and so fresh!
What warmed my heart the most was when Keith helped this elderly couple find the best meal to fit their taste pallet, help them to a seat, and walk around to see how everyone was enjoying their food.
If it were possible I would give a 12/5 star rating! A 45 minute drive will never stop me from visiting to enjoy a delicious meal. Thank you to the staff and especially Keith for making this such an enjoyable experience! I will see you again soon
It's shocking how a good bakery/cafe could go all the way downstairs to less than zero in 15 years. OH, THAT'S RIGHT, Panera's was sold to a European family who made all their money by working slaves to death in Nazi Germany. They also own Krispy Kream, etc. The bakery items are now total junk. The menus got rid of all good items. There is nothing to do at Panera's but refuse to walk in the door, or if in the door, walk out. The place no longer smells good. There is nothing there there. The moment this horrific family bought in and took over, the place went down hill. None of the employees can get more than 15 hours or so as the owners won't pay one penny of benefits. They keep hiring new employees hoping they'll hang out for a few weeks. Boycott.
Wow. These folks really tricked me. I guess I wanted to believe that there was a company in the US who really did want to make food better, as they say. Their prices are 1/3 to twice as high as other locations, and I attributed higher prices to allegedly better quality. Turns out Panera is no better than Wal Mart, just more deceitful advertising, and their hypocrisy extends to the despicable way they treat many employees. Like Wal Mart, it's all Short hours making it hard to make a living, etc. Not surprising as the controlling interest of Panera's is a foreign company that profited by working concentration camp dissidents and Jews in their chemical factories during WWII. Then, there is the despicable anti-American bias. If you are an illegal and cannot speak English, you have a better chance of being employed. Panera's openly discriminates against older Americans. They don't want to know if you have a complaint. All BS. All Phony.
Very disgusted with this company. Total hypocrites.
Great app if you're a Panera fan. Prices can be a little high but if that doesn't bother you 10/10. The rewards program on the website helps you save a lot of money. Every visit you're closer to coupons like $1 off a drink or sandwich. You can even earn free sandwiches or cups of soup. The website is nice because it lists all the food items and shows a picture. You can choose to deliver or order ahead. You can also manage your mypanera account.
I had a terrible experience at your restaurant. On Saturday night last week, I was picking up dinner for my girlfriend and myself. The young lady at the cash register was pleasant, but I was sad to see that so many of my favorite soups were unavailable. After ordering a couple sandwiches, a soup, and a salad, I waited for my order. When I got home, we were extremely sad to find that many things in our order were wrong. There was no bacon on my girlfriend's Turkey, Avocado, BLT. There was no extra pickle that I had asked for, and there was no silverware in the bag. I know things can be busy on a Saturday; things run out. But, I expect a little more from Panera. I have always loved your food. I am willing to give your business another chance, I just thought I should bring this to your attention. What should have been a great meal and a great night was lost. It was all because little things were missing or mismanaged.
I am a HALAL eater. Don't and won't eat bacon at any cost. We ordered one sandwich and couple of soups. Before placing the order we talk to the lady who was there and told her not to add any meat or bacon or anything but veggies. After getting the food we started eating and realized that something is different. My bad that I didn't check. They put the whole amount of bacon as they would do normally. Ugh! We left our table very upset and I am never ever going back there ever.
Poor customer service. The cafe screwed up my order every single time. Sandwiches were cold. The whole thing was really very unprofessional. The prices are too high for the food you get. I was very disappointed!
I sent my husband to the Germantown TN Panera today to buy a $50 gift card for a friend. The clerk told him that with the purchase of a $50 gift card, he would get a FREE $10 gift card to keep. He was using a $100 VISA card to pay. When he got to the next place and went to use the VISA card again... SURPRISE! Panera had taken an extra $10 plus tax off the VISA. He had no way to prove it as the receipt did not show the $10.98 they had scammed him out of. HMMM... wonder of our friend has $60.98 credit on her card now? Anyway, a sorry way to do business! We will not return for any reason!
I use to like this restaurant, but they kept reducing the portions and increasing the price. 1/2 sandwich is now 1/3 of a sandwich. The food is good, it's just way overpriced.
Answer: Scam, over priced and not that good. Small portions with big price tags.
Answer: It was the only option, and I needed to eat something.
