Soup bowl is skimpy
October 10, 2020

I do not buy the soup bowl or other things that look full in the pictures. When they serve a bread bowl with soup, the soup only fills only half the bread bowl. The pictures are one thing with Panera, what you get is another. It is just how they do things.

Ordered online and the delivery time changed from 12:15pm-12:30pm to 12:45pm-1:00pm. I didn't receive my order until almost 1:20pm. The servings are really small for the price and the it's not even that good. Not worth the wait.

The kind you make at home from a box is better. SO disappointed! Soupy too and I don't think it was real cheese either.

Stacy who ran the register at the Strongsville Panera went above and beyond to accommodate me today. It's wonderful to support a business that appreciates it's customers. I love the coffee too and the bakery is to die for

Tulsa, OK, South Memorial Drive location: What has happened to Panera Bread? Quality has gradually been declining over the past year, not only on the one we just visited in Tulsa, but also locations in OKC as well. (These may be franchises, don't know, makes no difference.)
Today, Thursday, September 10,2020, order a bowl of Chicken Soup. It came out half full, mostly broth, very little chicken, a couple of noodles, a vegetable or two. Absolutely, not the quality or the quantity that Panera prided itself in delivering.
Over the past year, the two locations we visit in OKC (Edmond and north OKC on Memorial) have also seemed to decline in quality and quantity.
Service by the personnel at all locations has always been good and hopefully that will continue, but due to the declining quality of food being served, it is difficult to go back. May try it again in a few months, but not any time soon. We used to be regulars, at least twice a week at OKC Paneras, but can not see that continuing. Hopefully, Panera management(s) will make a correction on this.
I can be reached for comment. Today's experience in Tulsa was dine-in, order number *******, Cafe # *******, 11:48:42 AM, Customer/Pager # 38.

I wish I could rate less than 1 star - pathetic!

2nd time - order was missing items (What's with the Somerset NJ store?). Poor delivery guy went back to recover missing items... he came back - we gave a tip in addition to the delivery charge — we get the whole support needed for restaurants during COVID. He said, "I'll add a free desert for you inconvenience". Well, they charged $3.99 for the supposed free desert. Fred (the alleged manager) gave me the customer service number. I'm still on hold 25 mins later. Bottom line: 1/2 turkey sandwich, medium tea and Cinnabon costed over $18 - NEVER AGAIN COVID THIEVES. If $3.99 is all it takes for your greedy company to exhibit poor customer service and think it's ok, keep the $$$.

NEVER AGAIN! Let that sink in, because we loyally ordered 5-6 times a month.

Hallandale place.
August 25, 2020

I was stoping by Panera in Hallandale after 1 year of absents to have a boll with, French onion soup and Ice coffee. I purchased in Hallandale Panera bread. I was so sick all night and I can goo to work next day for headache what I have after I consume the soup and the Ice coffee with that Sherry cooky. I was very disappointed because in the past I came to this place for more than 15 years. And allways I feel great. But not now. I do not have idea what that can make me so sick from your food.

Terrible food
August 15, 2020

Visited the store on Ernst Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw Ga on Aug 14th, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Ordered grilled cheese sandwich, along with other items, and used curbside pick up. When I got home, I discovered that the grilled cheese sandwich was inedible. The cheese was melted, but burnt in spots and ice cold. The bread was soggy, and it looked as though the food had been dropped on the floor and then stepped on. I would not allow my daughter to eat this mess. I paid $8 for this? Tried to call the store but no one answers. Will not visit this store again.

I just ordered Curbside Pickup from Panera in Champions Gate, Davenport, FL, (Location# *******). Everything tasted fine except the fruit cup. It was awful! The fruit was tasteless and grapes were sour. I've been coming to Panera Bread for many years and always loved the fresh food, but the portions have gotten dramatically smaller and prices too high, and a lot of times they are out of basic items, like ham and cheese. But it also depends on what location you go to. Some locations give you much larger portions with much better service.

Today I ordered 3 items from Panera, the Greek Salad was very good and came with 2 containers of dressing which is nice for the size of the salad, the turkey, avacado sandwich was really good, but the grilled cheese for our little one was Terrible! It most certainly was NOT grilled, the bread was very thick like texas toast, and the 1 slice of cheese barely melted. It was very dry and truly not edible. Come on Panera you can do better than this!

My daughter and I went to Penera Bread on 07/05/20 we ordered $21.00 in bagels and coffee our food was thrown in a greasy bag with the cream cheese and yes our napkins. Evidently the person packing our order had greasy hands because none of our food had butter on it and when do they put 5 bagels in a bag and not a box lastly why were our napkins thrown In the bag with our bagels that were not covered This was messy unprofessional and intentional

This is an abomination of food. Type 2 diabetes in the forms of a croissant. In French speaking countries they often have chocolate filled croissants. Not a lot inside but just enough. The Panera one was covered in thick chocolate and filled with a ton and looked like a baby's diaper. What's wrong with you product developers? It's a downright insult to food and health to sell this garbage.

Went to Panera yesterday afternoon at a slow time of day (4:00pm). Order a bowl of soup with a brioche roll/side and a drink. Soup was cold, and a baguette instead of a brioche roll. I made a comment to staff about the problems, that went unanswered, so I took the soup to the microwave to heat it up myself. Microwave was filthy, but I heated the soup up anyway. After a few minutes gathering my thoughts, I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came out promptly, I explained my concerns to the manager, and she offered apologies, and excuses, but did nothing to rectify the problems. Overall, it was a bad experience at Panera, and certainly my last visit to this particular location.

Monday, June 22nd, 2020 12:09pm I ordered their supposed Grilled Cheese sandwich along with a coffee at the facility on Market Street in Boardman, Ohio. The coffee was good but the sandwich first of all "was not" Grilled as I watched the employee take it out of some type upright oven. When I got to my table I found it was soggy, limp and seriously tasteless... since I was on a time constraint I left after eating (chewing) about 1/2 the sandwich... I should have stayed with what I know they have that is editable "pastries"! I and my wife have eaten at Panera's before and I should have known. The coffee was good and the employees were polite and professional... the alleged Grilled Cheese was uh, let's say "terrible!"

I'm so done with Panera! I wasn't happy when they took over Paradise Bakery and cheapened all their awesome recipes, but I went back occasionally, and was always disappointed somehow. Paradise Bakery was the bomb! Panera made all their recipes smaller portions and increased the prices. I went to Panera on Lake Pleasant Parkway in Peoria, AZ last week and that was the final straw. Got a pick 2 combo with chicken walnut sandwich and a corn chowder. Didn't get the pickle with my sandwich, nor did I get the baguette with my soup, but those are minor things. When I opened the sandwich it had 1 tablespoon of chicken walnut salad on it! WTF? I hadn't even noticed the other missing items yet, so I turned around and went back through the drivethru and they explained that is the amount in the scoop that Panera allows. Then on the way home I opened the soup only to find it was a very watered down (almost clear) chowder that looked like someone opened a can of generic soup and poured in the cup ~ not like thick chowder should be. Flavorless and watered down. Then I noticed the missing pickle and baguette. It's ridiculous how they've really let this place go. I'll never go to a Panera or say a good word about them again ~ disgusting!
