Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Before you buy online you must be fully aware. I had to send 4 emails, 2 messages on Facebook, 1 on Instagram and then twitter before someone responded as to how to return a coat. They finally responded to my email with instructions with no return label. It cost $40 to return the coat. Never again will I purchase from them.
Btw, reason for return: the fur around the hood looked like a wet rat.

Buy with extra caution.

Worst Canadian brand in terms of customer service. Be extra caution before placing order. There is no cancellation as soon as the order being placed. They don't want you to return as their customer service not replying to your inquiry. I asked Pajar customer service for cancellation or return. When they finally replied, but dodged the real question and never mentioned there would be charge for return, until I found out myself from here. I've been following up but never got a reply for week now. I will continue to try contacting their customer support and pay the extra to return the item regardless.

I can't believe that i am taking to social media to talk about this brand. I never do this, as i usually focus on positive reviews only. But this one deserves a call out.

I was in NYC on vacation and bought some shoes from pajar. Three days later, while boarding a plane to my next destination, the sole SPLIT from the shoe and i was left hobbling around the airport looking for a new pair of shoes.

I called the customer service team and they told me there was nothing i could do. I couldn't return the shoes because i had to be in store to do so. I accepted this, even though i did not think that was right and moved on with my trip.

When i got back home, i went to my local shoe repair and they were shocked at how badly these shoes fell apart in a matter of days. They said they would do their best to patch things up but it was a long shot as these shoes were not made well. They delivered, at least i thought so! I didn't want to throw these shoes out as i spent legit money on them.

Back at the airport today, and guess what... my pajar shoes broke again. This is ridiculous that they have hardly been worn and they just keep on breaking. I now have to throw out hardly worn shoes, because there's no fixing these bad boys.

With all that being said, the product is faulty. I should be able to return these shoes. There are too many amazing fashion brands with epic customer service to ever purchase with this company again. It's just unacceptable in 2022 to pay for damaged shoes, and not be able to send them back for a full refund.

Now this is me, blasting you on social media, so i can get my money back because i assume that's the best possible way to get your attention and for you to take action on the mistake you have made. Please accept my request for a full refund.

Complaint Details
Pajar boots were purchased from Hudson Bay in Dec 2020 for approx $500. Worn very little last winter and when I brought them out to wear this winter I noticed the logo had come off the side and left a hole in the suede. The boots were brought back to The Bay who said the issue would have to go to the manufacturer. On Dec 8,2021 I emailed the manufacturer with photos. I received a reply the next day that replacement logos would be sent out and I could bring it to a shoemaker for repair. I had hoped to not incur any further costs and inquired about them doing the repair. There were several email threads with Alicia and Andrea from customer service and I was told several times they were discussing the repair with their shoemaker and would get back to me. They never did and when I finally did get another response I was told their shoemakers were too busy and I would have to take care of it myself. This whole process took approx 2 months and I was still no further ahead. They had my mailing address since that original email on Dec 9th and I had received no logos so I thought there was a plan in place to have the boots repaired by Pajar. There were several other emails in which I was told that they were speaking to their shoemaker regarding the repair. I continued to get no response and I continued to reach out. Eventually I was told that because the boots were purchased from a third party and passed warranty, there was nothing they could do. I reiterated my concerns with the defective boots and the months of useless back and forth communication. Finally on Feb 25th I was assured the logos were on the way yet they never arrived. This was my 3rd pair of Pajar boots which I purchase because they were known for warmth, quality and comfort. It seems their standards have dropped and their customer service is a disgrace. As it turns out, the logo came off the other boot just a few days ago leaving a hole in the suede of that boot as well so now both are defective. I have tried several more times to get replacement logos and only ever receive nonsense replies like that they were coming from Montreal and could be delays. Cmon, I live in Ottawa and it is now Mar 10 and they are still not here. There is nothing more frustrating than feeling ripped off and lied to. Thanks Pajar for putting profits over people!

Update March 15-- With no responses to recent emails, I tried messaging them yesterday using my other email address. Lo and behold I did get a response telling me that the logos were sent to me not once, but twice and that if the courier did not get them to me it was out of their control and must have been an issue with my address(LMAO). I have requested proof to support their claims and can pretty much guarantee that it is one more bogus response from Alicia. Here are her exact words... With that being said, we understand that you are not satisfied, but please be advised on 2 occasions, we have sent you the logos in order for you to install them.

"If you have not received them, this is something that is out of our control since the courier did not deliver you the logos.

All of our customers throughout North America have received whether it was logos, grippers, laces or keys except you.

It seems there's something happening with your address as to why you probably did not receive them, but that has nothing to do with our staff or the Customer Service that was provided to you.

Buyer beware

Merchant not interested in price adjustment post sale or giving a store credit for the difference in price changes within 14 days of purchase.
You pay for shipping when buying or returning merchandise.
Disappointed really in the lack of customer care.

Great disappointment

I bougth the boots Nicole 1 year ago. Very expensive, not warm enough, the sewing is already falling apart and the leather decollorating. They are pretty but definively not worth the price.

I purchased a pair of Pajar boots from Sail on Tuesday. I was looking for a light weight warm boot for work as I am outdoors quite a bit and these fit the bill. I have worn them for two days and they are NOT rated to -30. My feet are freezing even with wearing a pair of wool socks! NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I recommend you purchase a boot by Sorel.

I got these expensive boots from DSW upon one of their associate's recommendations. My toes freeze even in milder temperatures. Do not buy these shoes if you are looking for something that keeps your feet warm.

Crippling Foitwear

I bought a gorgeous pair on their boots from the Bay. Warm and comfortable. But within three months developed crippling foot pain with my right foot. After consulting my physician it turns out my issue arose from these boots. No support from the company. Avoid at all costs.

My $250.00 Mirko boots (see https://ca.pajar.com/collections/mens-ice-gripper/products/mirko) are a monumental waste of money -- soon to be "were a waste of money" as I'm throwing them out this evening. Don't be seduced by the ice-gripper frame. It's fragile and breaks easily, not to mention a nuisance to use. When I told Pajar that my boots leak, that the gripper frame had broken and a hole had developed in the heel, they countered my complaints with a very dishonest response: "You're the first person we've heard that from." Really? What a lie! And don't expect to walk any distance in these boots as the hard soles make them super uncomfortable. To the corner store and back, perhaps, but any further and your feet will be sore. Don't invest your hard-earned dollars in a company that does not care and don't believe the super-hyped descriptions of their boots. Most of it is complete fiction.

Winter boots are great

I was really surprised to do an online search and find so many poor reviews of this company! I purchased a pair of tall leather boots last year to withstand minnesota winters and have been very happy with the product. It is hard to find boots that are stylish AND warm (I have been very unhappy with many known brands that fall apart after a year or two of wear) and these are good quality, warm, comfortable, and waterproof, just as outlined on their site. They were more expensive than I normally pay for boots, but my hope is that they would also be more durable. So far, so good.

I am revising my original edit as I received a response from Pajar.

I am yet to see how the boots I purchased will work out, but the only thing is that if you want to exchange or have a refund, you must return the new boots at your cost, not worn within 30 days.

Warm Winter Boots

I love the quality of Pajar for winter boots. I was using it for more than 3 years and it was still in great condition. It was a bit expensive but I think you get what you pay. The comfort, quality and the looks are what matter most.

This company practices false advertising. They imply "Made in Canada". When the 280 dollar boots arrived it has "Made in China" written all over it. More made in China garbage. This nonsense has to stop.

Poor Quality

I spent over $750 on seal skin boots 2 yrs ago. Soles are now worn down to the point where they hardly grip AND the seal skin has come away from the sole. Even worse, Pajar says their warranty is 1 year, so tough luck to me.

I did order a pair of boots a month ago. They never shipped. Winter is over so I contacted to them and asked to cancel my order. They said they can't do it. This is pretty bizarre I will contact to my bank.
Please don't order from them!

J'ai acheté des bottes Pajar et après 3 mois d'utilisation la fermeture éclaire est complètement brisée. J'ai écrit aux services à la clientèle. Ils m'ont répondu que si je n'avais pas acheté mes bottes sur leur site Web et si l'achat faisait plus de 6 mois, ils ne font rien. Leurs produits sont trop chers pour la qualité qu'ils offrent.

I bought a pair of these boots to support Canadian, but also because I require a sturdy and extremely cold resistant boot. I live in a region that gets very cold, and I've been very happy for years in my Sorels. The boots I bought had a claim on them that they were good for -30, waterproof, and had grip. None of the above statements proved to be accurate. Last weekend I was in a rural areas, and four times my feet froze like ice blocks – it was -15 or so with the windchill, nowhere near the temperature they promised I was protected up. Thank God we were near vehicles, because had I gone hiking? I may have lost some toes. The cold didn't gradually happen, it was strange that all of a sudden my feet were ice blocks. I put this on my page and found another woman has experienced the same thing. Same boot brand as well. I want my money back, but their dealer at cross iron mills closed out. I have left them a message but I have not heard back. I lost time that I did not have to lose, I lost money, and this compromised my core temperature so I spent several days cold. Thank God it was only that. To make claims like this and then offer up such an inferior product, when people in most parts of this country deal with extreme weather is absolutely reprehensible to me. I forgot to mention, The boots also have zero grip on ice and let water in. I and both disgusted by this and saddened that I wanted to support a Canadian company and what I got was some thing that felt like it was made my amateurs with cheap materials. I have not heard back from them yet, but we are watching to see what is done.

HATE THESE PAJAR BOOTS

PLEASE BE AWARE... DO NOT BUY BOOTS FROM THIS COMPANY. I FEEL LIKE I AM WALKING ON TWO PLANKS OF WOOD; THE SOLES ARE SO DARN HARD. THEY ARE NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL, AND WHEN IT COMES TO WARMTH... HA! A REAL JOKE. MY TOES FREEZE AFTER 10 MINUTES AND THIS IS IN A MILD WINTER TEMPERATURE. IMAGINE WHEN IT IS -30. SO, EXCUSE MY EXPRESSION, BUT THESE PAJAR BOOTS ARE A PIECE OF ——. Varsovie Boots

Very difficult to get on. Have to be so careful not to break down the counter on the left back heel. The zipper gets caught in all materials surrounding it. Not worth the over $200.00. The reversible cleat are dangerous on anything but ice, they really do not do much to prevent you slipping on ice. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE BOOTS TO ANYONE
