They might be cheap but theres a reason for that...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO VALUES THEIR TIME AND GOOD SERVICE
You will never get through to an agent who can actually help and when you do, they wont be able to help you to change or modify anything so just be okay with whatever flight you book if you're sure.
They charged me 180 usd to choose seats on the plane for a Miami-Madrid-Naples (Italy) flight that the Iberia company didn't recognize. I have asked for my money back but have not yet received an answer.
I purchased a ticket to Peru. They charged me twice for the same name, same itinerary, and same day. I could not get them on the phone and,"chatted" with literally 10 different people who all gave me different answers and said someone would contact me within 24 hours. No one ever did. I wrote a strongly worded email and I received a response that said, Congratulations! Your issue has been resolved. I'm still waiting on my $1200.
I tried to book a ticket through them. Once I submitted my payment information, I got a call to tell me that the price no longer valid. They asked me for a higher price to book the ticket. It is a complete scam. Stay away from this site.
This company is absolutely horrible. I was supposed to fly from Lima to Canada, and i had something come up where i needed to make a change to the return flight. I tried calling the airlines, and they said I must deal with Ovago to make any changes.
I then called Ovago and the recording on their customer service line said i have to use Live chat and i will get an immediate respsonse.
I then spent 8 hours on Live Chat, where i was told very often that someone 'would be calling me shortly'. After 8 hours it had reached the time for my flight, and still no call or reply, and I went to bed. I woke up the next morning to see I received a message saying that they can help with my flight change, but it will cost $300 plus a $300 'No Show' fee.
I was prepared to pay for the change, but not the 'no show' fee, so I sneakily called their 'New reservations' line (where of course they will accept calls), and had them change me to the 'changes department'. I asked about the 'no show' fee, and they agreed that they taken 12 hours to reply, and that makes sesne why i was a 'no show'. She agreed on their error, but she said it would take at least 24 hours for them to reply about whether Ovago would take responsibility. Meanwhile the new flight i want to take is in 18 hours, and she said if i want the change, i need to pay the $300 no show fee, and as soon as i do that, then Ovago will not refund me, i would need to wait at least 24 hours for their reply.
So, i'm stuck, if i wanted my flight, i need to pay the $300 no show fee. I just decided to book a whole new flight.
Just remember, if you use Ovago, you basically have absolutely horrible support.
They want to charge me $1700 for no show, while they advertise on their website that they charge $150.they are misleading the customer and they provide wrong information just to trap the client. They say something and they do something different. I paid up till now over $1500 for a reservation and they want to charge me another $1700 for change ticket.
I have just been ripped off by these people. My non-refundable ticket is now being processed for refund without my request and my bank notification says I will be getting about 5% of what I paid for.
Ovago will flim flam you every step of the way. They accepted my medical excuse for not flying as intended but when it came time to use my credit and rebook, they have done everything they can to make sure they steal my $970. They hide behind their customer service "chat" and make it nearly impossible to talk to anyone, and when they deign to call you back, their staff is extremely rude. I'd love to find a class action lawsuit to join to run them out of business. It is owned by gangsters and run by thugs. AVOID them!
I made a horrible mistake of going to Ovago! They have horrible customer service. I attempted to call several times and keep getting hung up on. They keep filtering you to chat online. I have been told several times someone would call me but they don't. I simple want to change the itinerary of my flight, and they cannot help with a simple request. DO NOT USE THEM! I am not a person who leaves reviews so you know its bad when I do.
My wife had her passport, green card, ID, everything stolen in Italy.
Ovago said they could reschedule return flight for a later date.
Departure date passed and Ovago said sorry but we cannot reschedule your flight. Maybe refund the taxes but not sure.
Bottom line: Ovago screwed us out of thousands of dollars because they did NOTHING to help us.
Now we have to pay several thousand dollars more just to return to the US because they did NOTHING to help us, even though we paid for travel insurance before our trip.
NEVER book through Ovago because they will let you hang out to dry!
Please read all their reviews before booking. They offered Uplift (comparable to Affirm or Klarna), to pay over 6 months, but used my credit card to charge the entire amount. The credit card information was only left for Uplift to do the automatic withdrawals starting next month.
I called within minutes to see what happened and they make you go on a chat. The first girl, Amber, pretty much said too bad, my card was charged in full and the tickets were issued. Nothing they can do and if I canceled (which is within 24 hours of booking), I would be charged $100 processing fee.
They are total scammers!

This was for a wedding in Tuscany, and have over 100 people that were starting to book with them. Guess I saved them all!
My travel agent booked a flight from this company and I had the most horrible experience. The ticket was a for a Qatar flight that was being sold by American Airlines. Due to an unannounced flight change and Qatar's poor customer service I missed the flight and was unable to re-book or fly back on the same ticket. I had to book two separate flights to and from my destination and spend extra money because they wouldn't help troubleshoot, re-book, or re-issue the ticket! Will never trust a third party or this website ever again!
Very Poor customer service - trying to get someone to help either by phone, chat or email is impossible
Recently I bought AA/QR ticket thru Ovago website because they were cheaper than other online prices. But unfortunately, the flight got sceduale changed and they have never informed me. By the time I reached the airport the flight was already departed. I called from airport to Ovago customer service, and no one helped me. I had to buy a new ticket on another Airline at counter and spend another $1500. Later Ovago said you can travel on return flight, and we will refund the outbound portion of the ticket when I return. I went to the airport for return flight and the Airline didn't board me.So i had to buy another ticket for $1300 for return journey. I have lost $2800.00 because of Ovago.
Never ever buy thru their website. Horrible customer service. Your money will be lost.

I had a multiple stop international travel and OVAGO seemed to be able to do this. When I didn't get a notice to check in, I called United the day before departure, the first flight of 3, and they told me I wasn't even booked! So I had to quick buy a one way ticket to Houston! In summary, don't trust that the Ovago bookings actually exist, you will NOT be able to check in the day before, seats won't be assigned, food preferences won't be acknowledged, missed my frequent flier miles and have little confidence that my trip will go as planned. This is not a case of you get what you paid for, it is you will pay low dollar, and won't get what you pay for. I am not pushing for a refund and will update on that status later. USE OVAGO only to see what is possible, do NOT use to book. My disappointment is profound.
This company is horrible to deal with when booking flights, almost impossible to rebook if you have to reschedule your flight and DO NOT pay Airline credit retention fee of $75. You will lose that as well. Whole service is like a call center scam where they are fooling their customers on everyday basis.
In a nutshell, I booked a ticket months ago. Got an email notification that said my flight changed. Saw the option and they gave me a flight with a 17 and a half layover versus my 1 and a half hour layover. I saw the button to request a different flight. Weeks passed. I emailed, called and used the chat option only to be told that someone would email soon. Nope. So finally, yesterday someone got back to me and said all they have is the original flight offered and nothing else. I accepted but asked if I could be comped a hotel as the layover was so long. No email again. So today I chat with someone and they send me to the help link….she told me that flight changes normally happen. So this was my first and last time using them. Any other company I have went through never changed my flight…and this is over 20 years. This company is a scam and needs to either fix its self or go away. DONT USE THIS SITE, YOU WILL BE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!
Tried to get a refund got denied then accepted after the processing fee changed from 200 to 900 making the entire refund worthless to even try and get
They did not help me rebook a ticket. They accidentally canceled my existing ticket leaving me stranded on the ground. They keep denying this. I provided American Airline's documentation and emails to their customer service that showed that it was their wrongdoing. They still denied it! I ended up paying $700 more to be able to fly and overcome their errors and omissions. Worst travel experience of my life.
Deceptive terms of service, they will steal your money even if you pay extra to make your trip refundable.
I always try to book refundable flights just in case. I usually always try to make sure anything I buy is refundable. So same as usual, I paid extra to make my trip refundable.
I thought I could trust this, it was my first time booking a flight through "Google Flights".
So here's what happened: My partner was hit by a car in late October, originally assured that they would recover for a trip for my birthday in early January. They were basically knocked over by a car, so we expected they'd be recovered with plenty of time extra. As the flights coming up, it's becoming "reasonably foreseeable " (to use Ovagos language) that my partner might not walk again for months or may have further complications. My partners doctor told us not to travel out of the country because that involves walking, which Cole can't do. M.R.I. Confirms it's going to be six more weeks.
Ovago said we should have seen this coming though. That a minor injury with no hospitalization, broken bones, or sprains would turn out to be much more serious.
They've offered a partial refund as of today and it's just all been an exhausting demeaning process, they've asked for things like M.R.I. Results when I've already given two seperate Drs notes and a workers comp report that says they were expected to recover.
The first person who helped me named Sarah on the refunds team didn't know what any of the medical terminology meant, and dragged me along for two weeks always acting like if I provided one more thing they'd process my refund. She didn't know what an "MMI" was or even a "physician's associate". Second person I chatted with Dale, also made it seem as if I would get a refund for sure. Third person, Wagner, also said I would get my refund because I paid extra, even going as far to say that possibly my flight no-show fee could be waved due to the nature of the incident. Then the supervisor emails me to say all they can do is offer $350 as a "goodwill" gesture. Wow, how sympathetic of them.
It's been an absolute nightmare. I thought I could trust Google Flights but I'll use something like Hopper or just book straight through the airlines next time.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I'm not even the type of person to write a review but their business model is intentionally sneaky and deceptive, so beware.
I saved all year for this trip, I'm a college student. My partner can't walk now, and I'm not going to be able to afford to go on this trip again for a whole year probably. We're very disappointed by this company. Tickets were really expensive as well.
