This site is a scam. I have watched over the months how I will be bombarded with messages until I enroll and then all of a sudden the messages stop. I have also seen profile pictures continually change. I had one profile picture that was supposedly a "match" transform from an African American male to a white male. Whoever is orchestrating this site to rip people off should be reported.

OurTime is a complete "waste of Time". Its logarithm pays NO ATTENTION to your preferences so don't bother... not age, nor distance, or any other important exclusion. You can not get rid of individuals even if you block them.

Being a member for 6 months I'll be glad when my subscription expires.

At first everyone is new. In a few months if your preferences are narrow you will find the same people being "matches" over and over.

One thinks with age comes maturity. These mature matches are mostly hookups with a majority looking to expand their private escapades if you catch my drift.

50% or more don't have pictures with their profiles as the months progress. 50% of the profiles have no substance. Scammers are present too.

Mature people are motivated by outright sexual statements or overtones.

Ancient profiles are still sent as matches.

They send bogus like notification to make you think you're still in the game. You never know when you report or block someone it's thinning the culprits.

As with all dating sites you have to protect yourself. It's no difference than Plenty of Fish or Facebook matching and costs more.

Buyer beware. There are just as many wolves at old age as at young age. Maturity does not mean anything when it comes to a selling point. Sometimes people are just old fools!

I have been on this site for about three weeks and it been nothing, but a disaster. One catfisher right after another. The customer service dept, if there is one, doesn't give a damn about their clients only taking their $! I have been catfished in the three weeks I've been on, about 7 times. I told the last so called customer service guy, that I am taking my complaints about them to our state's attorney general's office. Ladies and gents, stay away from this site or you will be screwed out of just about anything. I would also recommend a BBB complaint as well if possible! No more for me! It is disgusting!

I'm glad I quit it. I found a legit site J4Dating.com -they still work honestly in this shady dating industry and they have real profiles of genuine women. If it doesn't scare you away that most of these women are from Eastern Europe, go ahead for it!
My efforts were rewarded and I met my bride there, that's why I recommend it.
Having lost plenty of time and money on Ourtime and other sites I realize that it's very difficult to find anyone real there. It's important to use your common sense and just quit it!
If you haven't started using it yet, don't enter this ghost city with absolutely no activity. They have tons of fake profiles, you can contact anyone - but you won't get any response.
At first you get lots of views, likes and messages - that is all happening before you pay and it all comes from bots. So don't get your hopes up!

Don't bother; numerous scammers and uninterested women. I do well in real life but thought I would try this as I had done it back in the dot.com days with some success. Zero results and if I had not been careful, scammed would have been the final result. Terrible to be a widower and to come back to this.

Ladies please BEWARE I was catfished on the OURTIME dating site. He scammed me for
1.1 MILLION US dollars.

Lots of false profiles, little or no response to likes or messages. Waste of money to join, contest requests to renew at lower price. No way will I stay with Ourtime

I met what I thought was a nice lady on there. All she wanted what someone to pay her bills. Told a bunch of lies... don't waste you time on this stupid site.

This site is loaded with fake profiles. The automated system tells you have messages when in reality someone just liked a picture. If you buy a membership and message someone you still have no way of knowing if they saw the message or can reply unless you spend another $9 for paid replies. The site is user friendly is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. Not many local matches either but I guess the older you get the harder it gets?

Overweight men, filtered pics, terrible profiles, expensive site, not worth the $. Pandemic be gone!

First time I had been on a dating site since I was in my 20's. Being an honest person, never even thought sites would play the games they apparently do! First had technical issues with photos disappearing or not getting loaded or approved (with nothing being inappropriate about them). Luckily, they did have a call center (not in the U.S.) that would assist. Other problems I experienced were getting TONS of canned messages such as "Your photo caught my eye" or "Nice profile", with a lot of these profiles being incomplete with no photos. I totally believe most of these were completely fake profiles, their way of making it seem as if men were interested so I would want to keep paying them.
What kind of educated person can't write a few independent sentences they can't come up with on their own? Men would come up that in no way met my search criteria. But probably the most disingenuous thing I ended up finding out for a FACT from customer service, is they do not take down old profiles (if they are even real to begin with). So you could spend hours of your time messaging people that haven't been on that site for possibly years. This angered me to no end when I found out, I'm busy and they have no respect for people's time. Bought a six month subscription and ended up getting 5 months credited. (Thank GOD!) DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS SITE!

Stay away don't waste your money! The people on there are most likely not someone you are looking for!

A lot of Profiles are fake, made by people who get paid to create profiles.
All they do is take your money and offer you other apps they say to help you be more successful but it's so they can get more money out of you.
There are real people on here.
But a lot of them live in another state.
And the real ones that are on there
I'm not really too interested in. They don't have a good selection
If I were you I would stay with the top five rated take a chance with them instead

This site lacks everything we take for granted as part of a respectable business operation. Yes, initial cost might seem low, but the operation and service does NOT meet the barest minimum of service. My experience and response is from a male perspective.

There is no site wide ability to select geographic match limitations. Daily match referrals will include profiles from all over the country. Even in the search system, which does allow a search specification of "close" to a specified zip code, you are presented with contacts 4 -5 hrs driving time away!

Of those daily matches, expect a good number will be inactive or fake profiles. After composing a message to a presented "match" who really is not an active member, you will be given the option to enroll in a "reply for free" program ($8.95/month) that allows the non-member to respond.

There is no respecting desired status of the match. Constantly, as a guy seeking biologically correct females, the site presents a guy sporting a female name as a possible match. NOT in my world! Complaints about this are met with a form letter email that claims your concern will be addressed shortly. Don't hold your breath. A personalized response NEVER comes.

Another common scam is the presentation of very attractive female photos claiming to be in your reasonable age frame, but obviously very young. Of the ones conceivably (visually) in an appropriate age range, after some initial communication, expect to be requested to help financially with some sort of emergency situation. Although less common recently, in language syntax, they seem to have an oriental or Spanish back ground. Fortunately, they are easy to pick out, and if you are so inclined, good fun to screw with.

The site's email system is another joy! The cursor constantly jumps around the screen, inserting type in unintended locations. It is best when signing in to tap the keep me logged in button, otherwise, in the middle of typing, your communication will be dropped, without any advance notice or automatic saving of intended message. If you are logged in to stay, you can select to log out when desired. You will also be notified when giving a detailed email that you are out of space and must close/send. They really must have searched hard to find such a poorly performing email system.

As with any broken clock (showing the correct time twice a day) occasionally it is possible to meet an interesting prospective & active "match". In those very rare situations, all the negatives in dealing with the site might be over looked, but most of us can have better and more enjoyable use of our time.

Unfortunately, this program will not accept a file in word format and is requesting jpg or other photo file format. That will require printing the email and then scanning in as a photo. Unfortunately, I am not in my office and am unable to accomplish those tasks at the moment, working on my laptop away from office.

I should have read the reviews first before I joined for one month because I wasted my money. Most of the messages are "FAKE"--And the women that are on there will not communicate at all. I'm a good looking guy and well off. Any woman that is worth looking at will not communicate. They just post their profile and sit and wait for guys to contact them. And most will never reply back. I didn't pay right away but when I saw I got 12 messages I thought I better pay to read them. What a joke, they were all fake come on messages to get you to join.---DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I was listed in Ourtime for 12 months with an interesting bio and 12 photos. Over the months, I wrote a peppy line to five dozen guys within 30 miles of me. No one answered. Ourtime said the guys only sign up for the free listing and can't respond until they pay the membership fee. Be forewarned that the men on this site are not motivated to finding a relationship

I joined our time on or around January 2,2021. At first, it seemed alright, some of the men seem like good people. The problem that I have is with the website. The more that I preferred a particular race, the more the top of my profile page website pushed the race that was not my choice. Also, too many ads on my page. They seem like they want to pick the person for you. Finally, on January 16,2021, ended my subscription and have not been on the site since. Someone who is behind the scene of this site is pushing for members to stick with their own race. What race a member chooses is their business. I would not recommend this site to anybody.
