Excited to see Vionic wedge heel dress shoes in size 5, I ordered and paid for the possibility of returning if they didn't fit. Received shoes ordered in size 5 but received size 7.5 and had to go to the post office to return. I did receive email and stated they would ship size 5 wedge heels. My credit card was refunded for the size 7.5 shoes and I never received size 5 shoes. Diappointed.

Great shoes

Good experience. Delivery was OK, however, FedEx's delivery could be more secure — no longer require signing and leave the package in an open common area. I was able to secure the package near delivery time, by chance.

Bad size advice

At least 2 answers in the Q & A section state that these slippers run small, so I ordered a size larger than he normally wears. They're way to big and now I have to pay to ship them back for an exchange when I followed the advice on the website. 🙁

Alamo shoes were too small. I talked to customer service and she emailed me instruction and a return label. I am mailing the shoes today for an exchange for a half size larger. She was most helpful.

I cannot rate your product until I've had time to test them out. This will happen after the new year as I have way too much to do on our ranch before family gathering time. I hope you understand thsi is a very busy time and ranch operation comes first.

I hope to use this form after the new year unless you do not want my feedback weeks after getting the product. If you decide my feedback is not needed then please advise.

These slides are great for indoor shoes

I've previously purchased a pair of these slides. I've learned that when I wear shoes that mold to my feet, after several years, they no longer give me the support I need. Hence, I purchased a 2nd pair. I did forget that the construction does not make them user friendly for my bunion. (My old pair had finally stretched out enough it no longer was a problem.) Buyer beware if you have a larger bunion. The one thing that REALLY bothers me about working with Orthotic Shop is being charged upfront if you want the option of returning the shoes! That is NOT a free return. I'm sure they make a TON of money off that surcharge! (The only reason I paid the surcharge is because the shoe doesn't come in half sizes, and I couldn't tell whether my old pair was the smaller or larger size.)

Terrible customer service!

I ordered 3 pairs of slippers from this shop in the past 2 months. The first was through Amazon Marketplace. They took my payment and confirmed my order, then cancelled it, saying the slippers were out of stock. The second pair was directly from them, they supposedly shipped, but never were delivered. The 3rd pair were confirmed, and payment taken. When I expressed concern that I hoped the 3rd pair would arrive, I received an email from customer service assuring me they would ship out "early next week." Guess what? That order was also cancelled as "out of stock." The very next day after it was cancelled, I got a follow-up email from Customer Service asking whether I had received my purchase. But there were only 3 possible answers to check off, none of which applied to order cancellation.

Consumer Fraud check BBB to verify

On September 5,2025, I purchased boots from OrthoticShop.com and also paid for third-party shipping insurance through their site. Unfortunately, my experience has been deeply negative and raises serious concerns about this company's business practices. No Receipt / No Insurance Details: I was never provided with an itemized receipt or any insurance policy details. Failure to Deliver Product: Tracking showed "delivered" on September 11,2025, but I never received the package. I checked with neighbors and contacted Orthotic Shop immediately. Refusal to Honor Insurance: Despite paying for insurance, I was told repeatedly that only the merchant can file claims. Orthotic Shop refused to provide the insurer's contact information or file a claim on my behalf. Obstructive Conduct: Representatives denied assistance, made accusatory remarks, and refused to acknowledge responsibility. On September 18,2025, Orthotic Shop terminated communication altogether. Documentation: I have preserved all emails and a legally recorded phone call (under Michigan law, which requires only one-party consent). These records clearly show (a) acknowledgment of my purchase of insurance, and (b) Orthotic Shop's refusal to provide the insurer's information.
Because of Orthotic Shop's conduct, I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and a police report on September 18,2025.
Summary: Orthotic Shop took my payment, failed to deliver the product, denied me access to the insurance I paid for, and then cut off communication. This is unacceptable business behavior.
I am demanding either a full refund of $104.98 or complete insurance details. If they refuse, I am prepared to pursue litigation for breach of contract, consumer fraud, and damages.
I strongly caution other consumers: do not trust OrthoticShop.com with your purchases
BBB shows they have done this numerous times they have 3.7 rating which is funny when you don't take away peoples ability who have a negative experience in your site as you have mine what the truth shows
