Web site easy to use and make payments. No reason for them to hold payments for five days after receipt. But good so far.
The only issue I have is that I pay my bill as soon as the statement comes out. Not an issue. The issue is they hold your payment for over a week. It posts to your acct & also is deducted from your checking acct but still on hold. Why? I have no idea. You take my money immediately, why can't you update my account immediately? Other than that, not a bad card to build or rebuild your credit. They do report to the credit bureaus ea month which is good. They also do not report it as a secured acct.
Do not open this card it is a scam and horrible customer service. I opened the card in May and I called to have it explained to me and it was explained that it is a debit card against my own funds. I decided to go forward I never received a bill I just automatically paid $50 a month. I decided to close it 3 months later and I called to get a list of my transactions and was charged 2 late fee's. I asked to speak to a manager to waive both fees. One was waived called again to speak to Calvin who was very rude and horrible customer service and his title was a supervisor. I asked to speak to someone higher no one knows who the vice president or president of the company is that information isn't on there website. Waiting on a call back from Linnea Kronmiller, I doubt that would happen. Again do not get this card horrible customer service and horrible card.

Received the card in fairly decent time however whenever I called the customer service was rude and acted like I was a second class citizen. I was merely trying to restore my credit standing after a financial loss. Once I received the card, I began m, aking a few small purchases. I have paid the balance each month. This month I had a family emergency. My father took ill with cancer and had to rush out of state. I paid the minimum due of $25.00 on a balance of 85.00. Well, this was a big mistake. The payment didnt post for days, which caused it to be late. I was charged $25.00 late fees on balance and an additional $25.00 which I did not authorize from my checking account. Now, errors happen, however when I notified my bank they confirmed It was debited twice! So now my $25.00 minimum payment became 75.00 plus interest and now my balance is 148.00
This is fraudulent. To make matters worse, I received a letter threatening me that I have exceeded my credit allowance., while traveling my card would not work, and now I owe half of what I had available.
It is terrible that large companies think they can get away with these acts.
I intend to follow thru with the consumer reporter in my state and give them the details. I have already contacted a agency who has advised me to report this to the authorities.
Hopefully before I have to take measures, the next call I make to the corporate officer who wrote the nasty letter to me, will review the case and see how unprofessional and scams they are performing.
I urge you to be cautious when dealing with this company.
I deposit money 5 days ago they debit my card the following day and until now they are still holding for what. To earn interest. So disappointing and irritating this the first card i have for fifty years that have this suck up policy
I applied for this card because I desperately need to rebuild my credit... I was naive and careless in my early twenties and now that I'm at a point in my life where I want to buy a house and a new car, I realized my mediocre credit score was not going to do. I was scared about some of the reviews but went for it anyways. I figured $500 was a good limit to have since I read it's wise to use just 30% of your credit limit at a time and was "approved" instantly. The confirmation email I received stated I'd receive the card in the mail in 5-7 days after my payment got cleared from my bank. It took 16 days to receive the card. I activated the card and paid the $35 annual fee as soon as I got it. It took 10 days for that payment to post! I haven't used the card yet and two days ago I get an alert on my credit report that my score went up 23 points! So excited! Yes, it's annoying how long it takes to receive it and have your payment post but I think it's worth it. Like a lot of other people using it to fix their scores, I plan on using it once a month and just for small purchases; I'm closing it as soon as I feel I'm in a good place with my score. It's worth it!
Loaded $250 onto the card through their site and received the card in 5 days! Others said 2-3 weeks. Got the card, activated it, and used it that day! Their website is user friendly for making payments. All very easy. Do not understand the bad reviews at all.
I am very disappointed that I have not gotten a response (except an automatic email reply claiming to care and promising to respond quickly)to repeated email questions about an order that has not arrived. Email said it was shipped out on Dec. 19 and no tracking update since. Worst experience with ordering online. Somebody needs to follow up, replace the missing order, or refund my money.
Been waiting for over 2 weeks for a fitbit that I ordered for my daughter for Christmas. Guess what - Christmas morning and it still hasn't arrived. When I try to track it it says invalid tracking number. I have contacted their Customer Service to no avail. I URGE you NEVER to order from this site!
Very easy to use to rebuild your credit. Also I love the way it is so easy to set up payments and change them when needed. Will keep card after credit is where I want it to be!
I ran my credit report and it showed that I owe this company $52 from a previous account. I called to pay only to be told that my account had been purged and that they couldn't accept payment. I asked for a letter or e-mail stating this and they refused. I'm considering taking legal action.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would.
They treat their new customers like dirt. If you can, go with some place else. This was the most stressful situation I've had to deal with since my bankruptcy 6 years ago. I am trying to rebuild, and they did everything they could to break that.
They never sent me a card, then claimed they had no idea what I was talking about when I told them I did not have a card, even though it showed as not being activated a month after they sent it. I also did not get my first bill until after the due date, which they still charged me a late fee for. 4-6 weeks to get your deposit back, $10 to pay over the phone, and and late fees for their mistakes. Don't bother. Rebuilding credit is not worth this kind of stress.
Answer: I too, gave the my money on 2/21/17 and am still waiting on a card so that I may use my funds that I gave them!
Answer: I got a letter stating up to 10 weeks. What a grifter organization. Probably Hunter Biden is on their board and the big guy runs the check book!
