I order material for making industrial scrapers. My orders come often the next day. I am always happy with the quality and good service.
I've been ordering from Online Metals for a while now, usually two or three orders a month as projects come up. They always do a great job. Metal products are well packed. I have never received an order in which any product was damaged in any way. Since various sizes and shapes are stocked all over the nation, I sometimes receive different items on different days even from the same order. But they always communicate well informing me of which warehouse location an item was shipped from and giving updates on expected delivery dates. I live in an area in which no locations exist from which to buy metals, so Online Metals really fills a void for me. I could not ask for more.

I ordered 3 foot long rods, and was lucky they all made it - one had punched through one end of the box, which had some but not enough crumpled paper. And no restraints or extra to stop to rods from shifting about in the box. Ordering was easy and shipping was fast, but please increase the packkng materials.

I have recently purchased 24 gauge galvanized sheets custom cut on multiple occasions. It always arrives with the corners bent. For my purposes, I can straighten them out. But I pay over $50 for shipping.

Was easy to order and received quickly. However, when received the corners were bent approximately 2 inches into the metal and 2 of the edges were rippled. It appears that it was not handled properly while boxing it for shipping. The box was not damaged.

I ordered online, and realized a mistake. OLM immediately corrected it over the phone. I received the amended order within a few days. I bought cap nuts and washers elsewhere and that company notified me that they had printed my shipping label AFTER I received the OLM order.

I requested a custom cut of a perferated sheet. Online Metals accepted the order, cut the metal, and sent it within a week. (I did not request a priority service). I can count of Online Metals when I need something customized and delivered quickly

Shipped fast and order was perfect. It would cost more for me in fuel to drive to the steel place than the shipping cost I have to pay. For a few smaller items its cheaper to order online. Well, provided the job can wait for the shipping time.

Had a good experience and will be coming back for more when the time comes. The website is clear and easy to use with good prices.
The only item that caused friction was that the round aluminum rods that I purchased were a mixed batch: some plain rods, some with stickers/labels attached. My lathe's part puller did NOT like those labels... will need to make sure that the next order does not contain labels stuck to the rods as they are difficult to remove.

I needed some 1/4" hex bar for some testing, it was easy to find with the specs but the specs didn't come with the size variation, i. E. 25 +-. 001.
