The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

SMOOTH TRANSACTION AND EASY TO USE ON YOUR WEBSITE. I WOULD RECOMMEND OTHERS TO USE THE ONLINE CITY TICKETS.
As I was submitting my order for tickets, I got the "the tickets you chose are no longer available" message, frustrated me a bit, but found success quickly after.
I bought my tickets for my Parents for Christmas and I couldn't be more excited about how easy it was!
It takes a lot for me to write a review but this site has managed to get me to do so! I just went to purchase tickets to a concert and everything was going just fine. The order went through, they even ran my credit card. I then received an email saying that my tickets were canceled! I thought that there might have been a mistake so I called, there wasn't! They said that I had filed a dispute with one of their partners (who actually scammed me) so they could never allow me to buy tickets through them again, HAHAHAHA! Went right to StubHub and got the exact same seats for cheaper, guess everything happens for a reason. This site is the biggest joke! They don't want to accept my money because one of their partners scammed me and i tried to get my money back. For anyone looking for tickets I would never go through this site as they charge to much and the customer service is terrible. I hope this review helps out someone in the future from getting screwed over by this joke of a company. Have a GREAT DAY everyone!
I purchased tickets to take my granddaughters to see Disney on Ice In Portland, Me. After I told them and they were all excited, I found out that I was being charged an exorbitant service charge for each ticket and then a charge for emailing. I would have cancelled if I had not already told the girls. Next time I will purchase them at the box office. I gave them one star but I would really like to have given them a minus star.
Easy and awesome the experience was fast and hopefully I get my tickets on the 23 or I will be made Ill let yall know what happens fingers crossed
Very easy to order the tickets, but the $60+ service charge is way out of line and borders on larceny. You could save money by taking a trip to the box office and buying the tickets in person. If you can avoid it don't buy tickets on line.
Im satisfied with my purchase of tickets to the Gabriel Iglesias show at Staples Center. My order confirmation arrived right away after purchasing the tickets
It was a good service. Fees are too expensive. I had to buy my ticket anyway so I am happy with the purchase. I do not wanna write more, 100 is too many characters.
The service charged was 30% of the ticket price. Other than that, it was quick and easy. My service charge was $50 a ticket. But if you have more money than you can spend it is very VIP
Except for the rather expensive "service" fee. The site is easy to use. I would use an alternative method of getting tickets online if I knew of one.
Very simple and easy and all questions I had were on the page with the download email of the tickets
Tickets were easy to order - thank you, but the services charges are outrageous. Also the $7 charge for emailing is ridiculous. Usually when I order tickets, they mail them to me "free of charge". Since the concert is next June, there is apply time for you to mail me the tickets.
If this wasn't a birthday present, I would think twice.
$7 for an emailed ticket. Per ticket! After $37 of "additional fees." Its getting out of hand. I understand that there is some overhead and companies like this need to make a profit but this is just greed.
If you can't qualify for a pre-sale of a popular concert and don't mind the extra charge for both the service and the original ticket holder, then this is your place.
Received confirmation, connected chat rep to ask few questions, answered to satisfaction.
Its little different than other resale agencies, because seats assignments are not available until couple days before the events. Im sure it will work out fine? Told tickets purchased on same transaction will be seated together. Taking little ones, so it was a bit of concern. Answer to my satisfaction!
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
