The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

I ordered 12 tickets to see Mama Mia on July 7th, 8 pm show. I've only received the 6 from order *******.
I am not pleased that I had to create an account. I was hoping to just have the tickets emailed to me, but I guess now I wait and hope they show up in the mail or I get some other email telling me to do a bunch of other $#*! before I can get them. Just send me the damn tickets! I've paid for them...
I ordered two tickets for $76 and I thought that's it. Then they charged me $23 more for services. But for what kind of services? Then when I select the only available option (download ticket) I was charged me $7. When I contacted customers service, playing with words they told me these for better services and maintain their servers? Haha
I started my purchase and backed out as it was mobile friendly. They sent me an email saying they notice I was tho king of purchase. So I clicked on their $20 discount link if I continued. I made the purchase but no discount
Please take a look at your service fees. This will be the last time using your site after this experience. 25% of my bill was fees.
I got fast and convenient service in no time. I was a little confused about the discount. I didn't get my $20 discount that was emailed to me. I don't know if I will order again.
I have my tickets and I'm glad. But having to use your service is a ripoff. The only option is to use my printer ink and my paper, and yet I have to pay you 30 + dollars for a service that I have no choice but to use.
Th website is easy to use and simplistic. Although you buy a set of tickets each ticket (which is digital) has its own fees attached so a $184.00 transaction turns into a little over $250 with the fees. How convenient there should be less fee and more actual service provided. How something that is 100% digital turns out to cost more than physical tickets with shipping Ill never understand.
I would not use this site again. Rather call box office for pricing and skip the online convince
It was easy to use this website. Quick and easy to pirchase tickets from here. I will recommend this site to pirchase tickets. I am planning to purt hase to watch monster truck show next month. Thank you
I ordered concert tickets through online city tickets. The morning of the concert I called their customer service line to let them know I never received the tickets via email to transfer them to my phone. I was on the phone with them for the next 8 HOURS. They had me on hold, they would transfer me, they had me create two additional emails claiming they would re-send the tickets to these new emails, they had me create two new Ticketmaster accounts. Every time I called they blamed the problem on me- they continued to report that they had confirmation that they sent the tickets to the email. Long story short- I spent 8 hours being insulted and stressed- never got the tickets. I bought new tickets to go to this concert for half the price (Online charges ridiculous "fees"). My husband called the company back and they again insisted that they "sent" the tickets via email. After another two hours on the phone they refunded my money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau - they are not accredited by them as OnlineCity has too many complaints against them. Buyer beware- this was a lesson I learned by this experience.
There was suppose to be $20 dollars off at check out, did I received I'm not sure? I would like for u to check on that so it's legit.
The ease of buying tickets on this site was amazing. Will definitely recommend to anyone needing tickets.
My single $63 ticket cost me $90. I have no problem paying $90 to see someone I love, but that $20 of that was service charge and $7 just to email the ticket is more than any other ticket agent I have ever dealt with. But more than that: as I am attending alone, I found that there were far fewer tickets available, and at ridiculously inflated prices over what you would pay if you bought 2 or 4 tickets. In other words, you have to pay a premium for a decent seat if you happen to be attending alone! That is plain unfair.
I didnt realize I wasnt buying directly through the venue and paid almost double what I needed to spend. Not happy.
Easy to navigate and purchase tickets Ive never used this site before hope the rest it goes well and Im hoping that my nephew likes the show these are his 10th birthday gift
They tell you that there is 100% satisfaction warranty and they will reimburse your ticket if the even get cancelled. What they DON'T tell you is that they will not reimburse you if the event gets postpone (and the new day is not good for you).
I bought 2 tickets for Shakira on January 19 but it got postponed to August!
They will not refund you, you will have to sell them yourself.
However, I will only receive the tickets 3 days before the show! Therefore, I can only sell them last minute!
We were going to go to the Scott Bradlees Postmodern Jukebox show at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville. Ticket prices were reasonable until we got to checkout on OnlineCity Tickets. $31.72+7.50 EACH on $102 tickets.
No thank you. I understand they have costs associated and should make a profit. This, however, is gouging. Had it been reasonable, would have purchased.
Took less than 5 minutes to select seats and pay... good effiecient system. Service charges were 37 per ticket though. A bit steep.
Wish it was completely digital and did not require printing. Last year they saved to the Wallet app on my iPhone. Now Im in a situation where I have no printer to print the tickets.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
