The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Great experience, fast and easy, no hassle. Thank you for making this so simple. Will return for sure
Tickets were easy to order online. Great seats. Looking forward to the BonJovi concert in April. Girls night out.
Seems like a good site but the fees are way too high. On top of that $6.95 fee for email delivery. Got cut in the spurt of the moment this time but will not buy from them again.
Under "name" on the tickets is the name "Tommy Sanjaya". Whose name is this since it isn't mine? I just want to make sure that these tickets are in fact for me.
Bought tickets to an event in December for an event January 20. The email said the tickets would be released on January 17. January 17 comes and goes, no tickets. Contacted Online City Tickets saying we didnt receive the tickets. They said the seller would release the tickets as soon as they were available. January 19, still no tickets. Contacted the vendor again, they said the tickets would be released by the end of the day. Day of the event, still no tickets. Missed our event because we never got the tickets we were promised DAILY for three days leading up to the event. Horrible customer service transferring you from department to department with no tickets. They were unable to fulfill our order and we missed our event entirely. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS!
The site was easy to use. The only thing I didn't like was that I could pick a section but not a row or specific seats. There also was no diagram of the rows, just the sections. I would use them again because they are the only game in town.
Best way to find tickets so excited to be able to redeem great seating best venue to attend a concert I would definitely purchase again so easy to do have seeen other concerts this is the best
This was my first time buying tickets. And it was pretty quick and simple. Very satisfied with how smoothly everything went..
Easy to buy. I feel 6.95 to send by email is too much. Glad I get to see these bands anyway even if all the fees did ad more than 60.00 to the price
The ordering process was great. Customer service is great. The only thing is there should be a way that the actual purchaser (me) who are currently bought the tickets should be somewhere on the ticket. Not just the reseller of the ticket.
Would rather have paper tickets but wasn't given the choice. Didn't have the app for flash tickets and don't like to give personal information like full birthday etc. has nothing to do with the purchase you already had my credit card. But all done now so hopefully it works.
Service fee a bit high, but overall very easy purchase process. Think you might want to consider your service charge fee. Ticket prices are high enough, then to add another $40 per tickets was a shocker.
Easy to order online and quick delivery. Service charges were crazy. Otherwise, it was good. They want 100 characters but I dont have anything else to say. Lol
The initial ticket prices are fine but the charges you see when you are about to check out are ridiculously high and should be fixed.
I clicked on floor tickets but when I received the confirmation email it showed the tickets at a different section but at the same price. Which was a huge price difference. Hopefully, they will correct this but unlikely. Be careful before you confirm your order.
The process of buying was very easy, but the extra fees tacked on were exorbitant considering the ease of completing the process electronically.
I was really excited to find me and my room mates great seats for a show we all wanted to see at a decent price, but when I went to check out the service fees almost made the tickets not worth buying. Why I did buy them was that they were still great seats at the same price that other not so great seat would have been.
Tickets were more than face value but not by much, the added fees are pretty heavy adding about another $100 or the equivalent of a nearby seat price. You pay for not being first up on the web.
I just googled tickets for James Taylor and Online City Tickets came up. I looked at the seating chart, picked where I wanted to sit and what I could afford, and bought the tickets. Fast and easy. I will definitely choose them again.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
