The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Lisbeth went the extra mile to answer all my questions. Shes very personable, polite, enthusiastic, has a great sense of humor & confirmed every piece of information regarding my purchase. She spoke with an accent, but was very easy to understand. She had a smile on her face (yes, I could see it thru the phone) & even paid me a complement when we were done. She also said to ask for her with any future events. She should be training customer service agents!
When I receive the tickets for my parents, I'll contemplate a better rating. MAYBE. If you guys have the tickets arrive one day late, two days late or anything, you won't ever get a 5 stay, period.
My entire experience was great. Getting the tickets for this event was extremely easy. I will be using this again.
I bought 2 tickets to a concert in separate orders. One ticket was transferred to my Ticketmaster account the next day. 2 weeks later, I'm waiting for the other ticket. When I contacted Online City Tickets about this, they said that the person who is supposed to transfer the ticket to me has up until Oct 4 (2 days before the concert, and 8 months AFTER I BOUGHT the ticket! So I'm supposed to sweat it out for 8 months wondering if I will ever get the ticket? They already have my money! I will NEVER buy through them again. And by the way, why are there so many people involved. In the whole process?
I was told I was getting $20 off my tickets, nope! Charged the fulll amount... last time Ill purchase tickets from here... and I will be letting everyone know.
Can't wait. The Who is my girlfriends favorite band. She has never seen Rodger Daltrey performed by himself so this will be new.
WHen I actually clicked the purchase button to start the process, I was stunned to see a $55 surcharge per ticket AND a fee for emailed tickets even though emailed tickets was my only choice. Double-checked BBB and they're on a watchlist for, no surprise, not disclosing the full prices early, but no other kinds of complaints listed. Purchased anyway after much re-evaluating budgets because not available elsewhere. Otherwise, the process was very easy.
My purchase confirmation says that the tix might have the name of the "original purchaser", not mine, and that that's no issue, they're fully transferable and to call them if I have any trouble at the door. I hope that's correct.
I got my tix fine with the usual markup and site was easy to use. I read the reviews and was excited to get there, after 45 mins to travel 4 tenths of a mile on pearl st we made it to the parking garage which was full. A nice Mr. Police man got us in the direction to another garage which was full as well. Finally we found a street parking spot a meer quarter mile away. Once inside i got 3 chicken strips an a handfull of fries for 9.50 which was expected, but I didn't expect the heartburn that followed. The 24oz beer was 11.25, but was good and cold. The show was great, what I could see of it, after spending the entire show shifting in my small seat to see around the safety rails on the upper level and that was a trick considering the lack of leg/foot room. I did hear the woman's restroom was spacious and clean. NEVER AGAIN!
Tickets I ordered for a WWE event arrived in two days! Very impressed with their quick delivery service.
If you had a one time order fee, it might be less objectionable. But the fee per ticket is beyond outrageous. This is gouging at its worse.
Not happy. It won't even like a shower review. I'm regregeting buying these. Tickets. The process should be flawless
I would definity use online city tickets again. I I know that there are going to be up charges in the seats but they were less than most and it was an instant download.
Over $80 in fees per ticket for service charges, then more for email delivery. Next time won't go green. Over $200 in extra fees over advertised price. Nor nice. But you have us over a barrel. If I had a choice I would tell you to shove it. But, it's Hall and Oates. Never again, and since I'm an active duty officer with 29 years in active service, I'm telling everyone to avoid I have influence over, along with peers and friends not to use this service. Bad form.
ALOHA JOE ROGAN!
SITE JABBER IS AN AWESOME WAY TO DOWNLOAD PRINT AND WHATEVA!
WILL SEE YOU IN FRESNO FOR THE LATE SHOW AND VEHICLE IS IN THE SHOP AUWE I WAS NOT THINKING ABOUT THAT! GOTTA SEE BUDDY JOE!
Fast and easy way of ordering tickets. Didnt struggle to find what I was looking for. I wil recommend to my friends and family.
Sure the seats were decent but by the time you check out, the fees and mark ups are outrageous and some people are making a lot of money for doing absolutely nothing!
When I went to Flash seats and registered my account it showed no purchase. Where are the tickets! The service charge is too high!
Good stuff. I made it through the whole order with little to no issues at all. Aside from having to enter 100 characters for a review.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
