If, at any point, the customer indicates they no longer want to go ahead with the job anymore we are more than happy to refund your quote to you. Additionally, if the customer has not seen your quote within 48 hours and you haven't tried to contact them, we will refund these quotes automatically.

Scam

Its a waste of money for the tradesmen. We pay between $5 to $20 to quote an job that's worth between $100 to $200 but the customer doesn't even answer their phone or reply. I'm not even sure anyone is getting the job because the customers are not even answering their phones. The whole system seems to only favour oneflare

At this time, depending on your category, leads will be priced based on a number of factors such as the value and location of the job. Lower priced leads means lower value jobs and vice versa - but the cost to quote will also be specified to you before you quote so you can pick and choose which leads to spend your money on.

At Oneflare we provide you with the opportunity to quote on leads posted by customers who are looking at getting jobs done. The support team leader Ewan, sent me a screenshot of scammers posting on the site and suggested it was my problem to watch out for them. After losing $200 to no answers and scamming I've told them to F off.

Terrible- don

I type this "They seemed to delete my last review (funny that this site is owned by oneflare) - terrible waste of money the leads are a terrible - I run a business that sells to other businesses. I get a quote cost me $4 and when I call the client a baby picks up the phone thinking I am daddy- no refund of that quote I call up again I am told its not a business - I have a feeling that the quotes are fake just to get you to sign up and pay for the leads- I have been in contact with oneflare and straight away they ask if I want to delete my account - they don't want to fix the problem they want to get rid of unhappy customers (because you have to buy leads in bulk- they have already made their money) its a con basically if you are a business selling to other businesses DO NOT WASTE A CENT. Put your business up get your webslink up there for SEO purposes but don't buy any of the so called leads because they are dreadful- you don't get the company name or email address you get a single phone number to contact the potential customer - this would have to be the worst investment in 18 years of being in the corporate market"

Unless you plan on passing on the cost of the absurd plans or cost per quote on to your clients, don't bother signing up to this site. To add insult to injury you will be charged sending a quote even if the customer doesn't accept it.

Disgusting Service
July 31, 2017

I hired someone through One Flare to fix my dishwasher. The spin arms were not turning.
Technician came, spent 5 minutes on the job, then told me the spin arms need to be replaced, and charged me a $130 call out fee, just to tell me that.
I argued this was a bit excessive since the original quote included 30 minutes labour, plus I knew the spin arms were not good.
Later that night the windscreen of my car was smashed.
When I rang One Flare, to complain I believe this act of vandalism was deliberate, they kept me on hold for over 30 minutes. I couldn't get through to them.
When I eventually did get through 24 hours later, (had to ring 4 times) I got told it was probably my fault.
The customer service rep at One Flare said I must have done something or said something to upset the Tradie.
What sort of crap is this?
I pay a $130 call out fee just to get told what I already know.
My car gets vandalised. My dishwasher is still not working, and One Flare try to tell me my car was vandalised because I was rude and inconsiderate to the Tradie, meaning technically speaking, it was my fault.?
How did One Flare ever get a licence to trade?
Honestly, how did they?
Their customer service staff are absolutely useless.

If you called between 9 am and 5 pm, our waiting time is 1 minute. In addition, we do not have a record of a call that matches your description.

Oh MY GOD ONE FLARE is a Con Website.

I put 5 quotes, then rang clients millionssss times. None of them answered the phone.

Then I asked follow up the quote from One Flare.

They reply and reject my follow up request and said that I need to wait for 7 days(after putting the quote) before I can request a follow up from them! Ok Fine then! Story begins here...

In those 7 days, client didn't cancel the lead or do whatever on the lead/job (no cancel or unsuccessful my quote nor answering my phone call). I can see from website!

When the 7th day comes, I sent in my follow up request. Within a day received an email from One Flare that client has chosen another business instead! Well, client didn't make my quote as unsuccessful at all. Then I checked back the lead from website, client actually has cancelled the job instead of putting my quote as unsuccessful. What a coincidence happened in the same time?! Sent in follow up request to One Flare, then client cancelled the job and chosen another business. Then One Flare rejected to return my quote.

No matter what follow up request send into One Flare, their standard answer is when client cancelled the job and client has chosen the reason that they are hiring another business. What?! If client really hiring another business, shouldn't they will make my quote unsuccessful or hired another business?

After I putting my quote, I rang client many many times none of them were answering the call. They totally ignore all phone calls. So when I requested a follow up from One Flare, I don't think client answer One Flare phone call at all. Basically, I don't think One Flare really follow up on behalf of us! SO, based on what reason One Flare know client has chosen another business and not ignoring our quote.

This is so unfair to us when client is not ready to hire at all! And we paid for putting a quote but nothing come back!

No matter what we request follow up from One Flare, our quote never be returned! Basically, One Flare Lure Businesses to give them money then not doing right thing to protect Businesses. More bias to Customers!

Tradies beware!

Is there a consumer law to get what you paid for!
2 jobs back to back cancelled or put on hold, when i accepted quotations, site inspection needed?, rang office no response, cost $25 per lead not to mention tyre kickers, are these quotes legit? And as for screening the clients riddle me this one
Got a job asking to fix a axe head that had fallen off! To a cabinet maker wtf

Too Low For Zero

When are you going to stop ripping Tradies off. You overcharge on poor quality leads. You make no effort to screen them. You treat the Tradies with sheer contempt. Yet we are the ones who pay your wages. The customers don't pay to use One Flare. We do.
But we are shown no respect at all. My email correspondence is always ignored. Despicable and rotten to the core is how I describe the joke that is One Flare.
If I can stop just one Tradie from signing up with One Flare and wasting his or her money, I can say I have done a good service.

Do not recommend

I used this app as a contractor. I have had couple of cases that I couldn't reach the customer I got charged for it.
I called to the office and case couldn't be resolved. Wasted over $200. NOT RECOMMENDED!

This site is nothing short of a scam. Job offers are sent to service providers and then the service provider has to pay to lodge a quote whether they get the work or not, in my experience, usually not. Hard to fathom that a site like this is allowed to operate. Stay away from all the bull$#*! promises

All they do is put fake jobs and send those as leads to all the registered traders, charge money to all traders and nobody gets the job. Fraud business. They will charge you for 20 fake leads and then award you a small job worth few dollars to keep you going and show that portal actually works.

You quote and quote and no one cares and they are just want cheapest job and each quote cost you $20 and you will have to pay even if you dun get the job, waste of time and money, system is full of crap, you find them on top link at google search doesnt mean they are good.

Been advertising with these guys for over 3years now
Paybill for best advertising and most quotes possible
Only pay $40 monthly
And $90 for 30+ quotes (which we can pick and choose)
Definitely taken out the down times

This is a parasite company, and it all seems a bit to good to be true and it is. I like most people trusted this company and paid for several leads with no replies what so ever. Do not use this company!

We started out with Oneflare early on and I think we paid $49 per month for 20 Leads. They have substantially increased their lead prices over the past 3 years where they have now asked us to pay an enormous $320 per month for the same 20 leads, even after telling us we could stay on our current plan ($159 per month for 20 leads) for as long as want. Most of the time leads never get answered or went nowhere. Complete waste of money, so understandably we cancelled our plan. Money hungry companies that don't give a toss about small businesses that made them successful in the first place

These sites exist for one thing $$$
They don't really care for the poor tradie who pays to join unless pay the premium rate as a preferred/recommended tradie.
Even less satisfaction for many of the people using these sites. Poor workmanship, overcharging and then having to pay again to have rectification work carried out.
There's no loyalty and no real satisfaction for tradies who kid themselves they are self employed on these sites.
The fact is thee is less than a 30 % chance of a satisfactory result with any service providing site.
Put it this way - if these sites were so safe, and offered the answer for finding good tradies why don't the Strata Managers, Property managers, Insurance Companies, Schools and big businesses use thes sites?
Risk is the answer. So before you get sucked in think it over
